Louis truly lived his faith as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, mentor and friend to all. The fruits of his labors are evident in the six children, 26 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. No doubt he and Ramona took seriously the charge to repopulate Heaven. Though few would surmise he'd spend much time in Purgatory, if none at all since he died with the Last Sacraments and in the state of Sanctifying Grace, it is still Catholic doctrine that we pray for his immortal soul and, if Louis is already dancing with the angels, which those who knew and loved him greatly expect, then those prayers will go to another needed soul. Louis' middle name was Joseph; and it was the foster-father of Jesus and chaste protector of the Blessed Virgin Mary whom he loved so much. We may not win friends with our persistence to proclaim the truth, but if we can convert souls, that's all that counts with God. Man has a free will. That is something to remember and when rebuked, then shake the sandals and move on. After all, all Our Lord asks is that we try. He'll do the rest. In Chapter Six of the late Father James F. Wathen's irrefutable work, Father broke it down into the burden that the "New Mass" laid on the priests and the people. Father Wathen concluded his magnificent mission of alerting all as to the dire danger of the "New Mass" as he cited St. Paul's warning in Ephesians 6: 12 that is the devil who orchestrated this "abomination of desolation" as he said, "Any Catholic should see there will never be any peace or order in the Church or in the world at large unless there occur a restoration of the True Mass and the Ancient Faith. If this prospect disturbs outsiders, so be it. We have our souls to save, as well as theirs, and we cannot achieve this without our Mass". As we see in retrospect he was so right. The world is in turmoil, the church of Modernist Rome is the antithesis of the Church of Eternal Rome and would not be recognizable to anyone who preceded Vatican Two. You'll note we conclude Father's landmark book here and it coincides perfectly with the powerful words in Daniel 9: 27, which Our Lord referenced in St. Matthew 24: 15 the very same warning that Gabriel, the Angel of the Lord revealed to the prophet of the meaning of his vision. That is, "the desolation shall continue even to the consummation, and to the end". When One Cannot physically assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished.
