What the True Church really teaches
Why the V2 CONciLIAR church is NOT Catholic
Videos on state of the Church Today
     Help us reach more souls

The gospel for the Sunday within the Octave of the Sacred Heart of Jesus features the parable of the lost sheep. While we have been striving to reach Novus Ordo Catholics and convincing those in the traditional movement who stubbornly resist and recognize Jorge Bergoglio as a true pope, we need to expand our scope to include other lost sheep such as our Christian brethren in the Protestant sects. So many of the latter carry with them some of the truths of the Catholic Church because their non-divine founders (read heretics because to leave the Catholic Church one commits the sin of heresy or apostasy) originally broke away from the true Church and kept several traditions while varying on others as man is wont to do in establishing a man-made church. They are beginning to realize, thanks to the bizarre apostasy of the Marxist Modernist Bergoglio, and the fact that Jesus Christ founded only one Church on earth and that was the Church He endowed to St. Peter as the first Pope as the inerrant divine scriptures proclaim His words in St. Matthew 16: 18-19:
"And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of Heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in Heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in Heaven."

The Haydock Commentary refutes Protestant interpretation that this does not refer to the Catholic Church for indeed it does. Note the words Thou art Peter:

"As St. Peter, by divine revelation, here made a solemn profession of his faith of the divinity of Christ; so in recompense of this faith and profession, our Lord here declares to him the dignity to which he is pleased to raise him: viz., that he to whom he had already given the name of Peter, signifying a Rock, St. John 1. 42, should be a rock indeed, of invincible strength, for the support of the building of the Church; in which building he should be, next to Christ himself, the chief foundation stone, in quality of chief pastor, ruler, and governor; and should have accordingly all fulness of ecclesiastical power, signified by the keys of the kingdom of Heaven."

For the words Upon this Rock

"The words of Christ to Peter, spoken in the vulgar language of the Jews which our Lord made use of, were the same as if he had said in English, Thou art a Rock, and upon this rock I will build My Church. So that, by the plain course of the words, Peter is here declared to be the rock, upon which the church was to be built: Christ himself being both the principal foundation and founder of the same. Where also note, that Christ, by building His House, that is, His Church, upon a rock, has thereby secured it against all storms and floods, like the wise builder, St. Matthew 7: 24, 25."

Finally, for the words The gates of hell

"That is, the powers of darkness, and whatever Satan can do, either by himself, or his agents. For as the Church is here likened to a house, or fortress, built on a rock; so the adverse powers are likened to a contrary house or fortress, the gates of which, that is, the whole strength, and all the efforts it can make, will never be able to prevail over the City or Church of Christ. By this promise we are fully assured, that neither idolatry, heresy, nor any pernicious error whatsoever shall at any time prevail over the church of Christ."

The very fact that today's Modernist church in Rome has apostasized from what Christ established and liberally spread heresies over the past 57 years is documented in links we provided last week with Proof of the heresies of the apostate Vatican 2 'popes'. Everyone of these heresies were condemned by previous true Popes and Councils who comprise the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church. The question therefore is: have the gates of hell prevailed? No! They cannot via Our Lord's assurance. Therefore, if we are to subscribe that the heretical 'popes' in the V2 CONciLIAR church are true, then it would mean the gates of hell have prevailed. Ergo, we know that is not possible for heretics are put outside the Church. Thus a heretic cannot be a pope, let alone Catholic as you shall see below.

The Catholic Church is the only religious institution that can trace its origin to Christ. All other sects were founded by man in rebellion of what God had established through His only-begotten Son. Over the centuries there were men in the Church who were sinners and did bad things, but for the most part, only a few of them were apostates by committing heresy. As bad as some of the Renaissance popes were, especially Pope Alexander VI, they did not fall from their office because of heresy. The same cannot be said of the Vatican 2 "popes" Angelo Cardinal Roncalli aka John XXIII, Archbishop Giovanni Montini aka Paul VI, Monsignor Albino Luciani aka John Paul I, Bishop Karol Wojtyla aka John Paul II, Fr. Joseph Ratzinger aka Benedict XVI, and Mr. Jorge Mario Bergoglio aka Francis who have all usurped the Chair of Peter illegitimately as Father Anthony Cekada so brilliantly explains in his latest video below:

The syllogisms Fr. Cekada uses against the anti-sedevacantists, who cling to Francis and his predecessors as true 'popes', totally refute any argument against the position of sedevacantism which, as Father explains, is a canonical term instituted by the Church of sede vacante - the Chair (sede) is vacant (vacante), an official ecclesiastical term applied between the death of a true Pope and the election of a true Pope. In addition to Fr. Cekada's Quidlibet, we highly recommend the following sources to keep all abreast of events as fast as they are spinning out of control along with their causes and consequences, as well as inspiration from other trusted ports. Thus, we confidently point you to NovusOrdoWatch.org and Christorchaos.com for articles and links, as well as these blogs worth your while, Introibo Ad Altare Dei, Bishop Donald Sanborn's In Veritate, and the satirical, but on-point Call Me Jorge. We also point you to Traditio which, although the Father Moderators will not admimt the term "sedevacantism", 95% of what they provide reinforces this position. Note, we provide here those sites that carry almost daily coverage and in no way demean other sites that update more infreqently. For those sites, please see Traditional Catholic Resource Port.

In addition, because of all the confusion over the last fifty-plus years and in light of the deliberate confusion fostered by the latest false 'pope' in the Modernist false church in Rome - the church of Darkness - we continue to re-run our series on Catholicism Made Simple yet again for souls - both Novus Ordo Catholics and Protestants - need to know what the Church truly teaches and realize that doctrine cannot evolve. Church teaching is set in stone. We cannot have an 'opinion' on dogmas. God said it, we believe it by faith, that settles it! No discussion. Therefore, with many new readers searching for answers, we will refresh everyone almost daily with the Truths and Traditions of holy Mother Church, reinforced by Church doctrine and the Papal Decrees to the right.

Committing ourselves to Christ comes full circle during this month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus leading to July which is the month of the Most Precious Blood. That is why we encourage you, if you have not done so, to seek out a true priest to come and enthrone and consecrate your home to His Sacred Heart. We refer you to our True Masses section for phone numbers of true priests throughout the United States for making an appointment for Consecration to and Enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the Home

We celebrate the feast of two esteemed Doctors of the Church this week, beginning with Sunday's commemoration of the holy Bishop St. Basil the Great and on Thursday the holy Deacon St. Ephrem of Syria, whose beloved land is so ravaged today with the persecution of countless Christians by the barbaric savages of Islam. Regarding St. Basil, considering the dirge of devout bishops available to the faithful today, who, for the most part you can cound on two hands, isn't it time to purge the counterfeit church of CONciLIARism of the false prelates who act as potentates in an atmosphere of bizarre practices that are more often than not more Protestant than the Protestant sects. The vast majority of those hierarchs in the Novus Ordo apparatchiks have veered as far from Catholic truth as can be imagined over the past 50 plus years. What we need are more consecrated episcopates that would have even just an inkling of the dedication of St. Basil; the kind of men who would not be afraid of their own shadow or pleasing benefactors or standing up against the false church of Vatican II and fleeing the "church of Darkness" for the safe confines of returning to the truths and traditions of holy Mother Church, the Rock established by Christ, without compromise. We pray they would do it without fear of persecution or calumnies, for, after all, when you have the truth and God on your side, what is there to fear? We invite those stuck in the Novus Ordo, as well as those of the Protestant persuasions, to realize the infrangible truths Christ spoke in the holy scriptures, to relearn the meaning, to reload, reform and walk away from the rut they are in now - seeking a fuller peace of mind that will bring them assurance of salvation. Nothing could be sweeter to God and His Saints for the Good Shepherd cares about all His sheep and wants them in one fold as He directed, not as man directs.

Outside of Jesus Himself, there is no better guide to seek help and consolation than His holy, immaculate Mother Mary. We begin on the Octave Day of the Sacred Heart this Friday the nine-day novena of Devotions to Our Mother of Perpetual Help in preparation for her special feast next Saturday, June 27th. The miraculous icon with it's symbolic art resides in the church of San Alfonzo in Rome. Turn to Our Lady who asks that, as members of the Church Militant, we do all we can to help the lost sheep. All she asks is that we try. She will do the rest!

The liturgy celebrates today the mercy of God towards us, poor sinners. (Collect, Postcommunion) Jesus has come not to call the just but sinners, and the Holy Ghost comes to establish the reign of God in our sinful, unclean hearts. The Sanctifier continues in our hearts the action of Christ, coming to establish the reign of God in sinful souls. He therefore proclaims by the mouth of Peter, the Head of the Church, our weakness before the devil, who, like roaring lion, seeks to devour us (Epistle). The human race has fallen into sin. It is represented by the lost sheep which the divine Shepherd bore on His shoulders, and by the lost drachma struck with the effigy of the King of Heaven and which the Church found again (Gospel). "Without God, nothing is strong, nothing is holy" (Collect). He alone can give us, in the midst of temptation "an unshakable stability" (Epistle). Therefore on Him we must "throw all our thoughts and cares." (Epistle, Gradual) The breviary lessons are concerned with the history of Saul. After Heli's death the Israelites obeyed Samuel like a new Moses but when he became old they asked for a king. There was living, at that time, in the tribe of Benjamin a man named Cis, who had a son called Saul. No boy in Israel was his equal in appearance. His father's asses having gone astray, Saul went to look for them and coming to Ramatha, where Samuel lived, he said to himself: "The man of God will tell me where I shall find them". No sooner was he in the Centenary of St. Jerome was being kept, Pope Benedict XV compared these two heroic monks of the ...More

There is a commemoration of St. Basil the Great. This holy Doctor of the Church was Archbishop of Caesarea in the Asiatic Province of Cappodocia. His solid and eloquent words silenced the Arian heretics who were persecuting the Church, and he restored the spirit of discipline and fervor. He was one of the most celebrated Fathers of the Eastern Church. He is author o ...More

John Gregory provides the commentary for the Third Sunday after Pentecost which is always the Sunday within the Octave of the Sacred Heart. Father George Leo Haydock became famous for compiling the Fathers' and Doctors' discernment and incorporating it into the Douay-Rheims version of the New Testament. For this Sunday we encounter one of the most oft quoted passages of Sacred Scripture, the eighth verse of chapter five of the first epistle of St. Peter whereby Christ's chosen first Pope employs the imagery of the devil being like a roaring lion always on the prowl to devour souls. That is why it ties in so well with today's Gospel of the rejoicing of one sinner returning to the fold. With satan roaming it truly is a victory worth celebrating when a soul is saved from this savage unearthly beast. Redemption

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a sixteen-minute sermon given a few years ago for the Third Sunday after Pentecost by Father Michael Oswalt, then assistant pastor at Mount St. Michael's in Spokane. He reminds us of how powerful our enemy devil is and why we must be vigilant and sober, steadfast in the faith because we are vulnerable to him if think we can fight him by ourselves. We need God's grace and mercy, and thus cannot afford to be lax or the devil will penetrate our castles and our fortress will be demolished through mortal sin. God, in His mercy gives us so many chances and loves the sinner but hates the sin. So should we or we will be devoured as St. Peter warns in his epistle. Father shows how God extends His protection through the confessional and how all of Heaven rejoices over the return of a sinner. If we do not take advantage of this infirmary of Divine Mercy, we will not have enough ammo to fend off the roaring lion away and will be devoured. Finally, Father concludes that we need to submit to His will and honor Him and work on our salvation with fear and trembling since it is our urgent duty out of love for our Creator as Father explains in his sermon on Be Steadfast In The Faith

In back to back Doctors of the Church, today the Church celebrates another of the magnificent luminaries God rose up in the 4th century. The holy bishop and Doctor of the Church Saint Basil the Great also faced the intense persecutions and calumnies of the Arian bishops and suffered greatly, never complaining and living a life of austerity while his fellow Arian bishops lived high on the hog. Like his good life-long friend and fellow Doctor of the Church St. Gregory Nazianzen, he,too, came from holy stock and had two brothers who became bishops; a father, mother and sister who became saints. This Bishop of Caesarea is one of the few, along with Popes St. Leo I and St. Gregory I and St. Albert to be given the august title "Magnus" - great. For a profile of this holy Bishop and Doctor, see the Orator of Orthdoxy

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a brief but informative six-minute sermon given in 2008 by Bishop Daniel Dolan for the feast of the holy Bishop and Doctor of the Church St. Basil the Great, who, as His Excellency responds felt he wasn't doing enough and yet he became one of the greatest to wear the purple robes ever for St. Basil the Great faced his fears with the courage of grace and realized no one could defeat him for his goal was Heaven and to threaten him would only encourage him further to love God and share the Faith while soundly refuting any heretics who sought to intimidate and threatene him. The results show the successful fruits of his efforts as Bishop Dolan illustrates that we don't have to worry if we're successful if, like Basil, we do the will of God in following the example of St. Basil the Great

This is the week within the Octave of the Sacred Heart of Jesus that is commemorated in the Feria Masses. The Sanctifier continues in our hearts the action of Christ, coming to establish the reign of God in sinful souls. He therefore proclaims by the mouth of Peter, the Head of the Church, our weakness before the devil, who, like a roaring lion goes Respice in me

Over the centuries for two millennium, factions outside and inside the Church have tried to bring her down, to devastate and destroy the one institution created by God on earth. At every turn, despite the carnage of souls in its aftermath such as the Arian crisis, the Protestant Rebellion, the French Revolution and the greatest revolution in the history of the Church: Vatican II, the Church has not buckled, but has only rebounded and grown stronger. While many wonder if that is possible this time in the face of what the Modernist apostates have done over the past 50 years, we must trust in Jesus and realize He will not allow His Mystical Bride to die for She is spotless, created from the Sacred Heart, nourished and saved by His Most Precious Blood and the Water of Salvation that flowed from His side on Calvary. Christ's love is unconditional, neverending and proof that the Church, The Spotless Bride of Christ is Indefectible .

This is the week within the Octave of the Sacred Heart of Jesus that is commemorated in the Feria Masses. The Sanctifier continues in our hearts the action of Christ, coming to establish the reign of God in sinful souls. He therefore proclaims by the mouth of Peter, the Head of the Church, our weakness before Respice in me

In the overall metaphor of the edifice of the Church, the walls are made of the sturdy dogmas and doctrines, fashioned from the concrete base of Divine Revelation. Canon Laws, Papal decrees and the teachings of the Fathers of the Church create the buttresses for the roof. Yet, the architectural plans of the Church, so to speak, are structured from the blueprint of the Creed - The Apostles' Creed - which contains the twelve Articles of Faith. What was applicable and necessary for the first Council of Jerusalem in the first century holds true today and tomorrow. It cannot change with the ages or adapt to the times; rather, it must always be the other way around. Man must always adapt and adhere to God's Laws and the guidelines He has set down for man's salvation via A Creed We Must Live By .

As we covered in Step Two on the Blessed Trinity, there is only one God. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Maker of everything that ever was and ever will be. God is forever and ever eternal. This means He always was and always will be, and always remains the same. God had no beginning; there never was a time when there was no God. God can never cease to exist; He will have no end. He will always be living, immortal. This mystery can fry the minds of the most erudiate of intellectuals, and yet it is so simple if we but have the faith of a little child as Christ asks. In Step Eight we delve into the very essence of the Supreme Being Who made Heaven and earth, and the whole universe. Is there other life in the galaxy? Does it really matter? Should we be concerned with such things when we earthlings have forgotten or refuse to acknowledge God's role, yay, in fact His very existence? We all need to realize the very essence of God and what He meant when He proclaimed to Moses "I AM Who AM" .

Saint Ephrem, born at Nisbis in Mesopotamia of a pagan father, was cast out of his home and lived as a hermit in the desert. He never became a priest but was deacon of the Church of Edessa. From early times, because of his opposition to the Arians, he had been famed as a teacher of the Universal Church; not only the Syrians, but the Byzantines, the Slavs, the Armenians and the Copts had incorporated in their liturgical books the melodious compositions of the Deacon of Edessa, who was called in consequence by the Eastern Church the "Lyre of the Holy Spirit:. He died at Edessa in 379. In 1918, the year in which ...More

We have covered the Foundation and Mission of the Church as well as Her Authority, Infallibility, Indefectibility and Indelible Marks. Now we arrive at perhaps the most important aspect of the Church established by Jesus Christ upon this earth: How and why it is only through holy Mother Church that one can be saved. Despite the fact that over 33,000 different sects have arisen over two millennia there is only one true religion, one way to Heaven. That is through Christ's Church of which the gates of hell cannot prevail against it. We have Christ's promise on that, but there are stipulations He set down and which have been passed down by those He authorized providing they adhere to all the constituted evangelic traditions beginning with the dogma Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus. To deviate from that truth is to step off the narrow path and to join the wide path leading straight toward perdition as explained in Step Nine of this series: The Church's Role in Salvation.

Saint Ephrem the Deacon, the holy Doctor and saintly Syrian, who was the second chronologically to receive such a title following Saint Athanasius, was an early luminary of the Church. Today his homeland is in ruins because the people did not follow his example nor heed his holy advice. St. Ephrem was beloved by the faithful and one called the "Prophet of his people" and a deacon who combated heretical sects and Roman emperors, not by raising his voice in anger, but through Syriac poetry in winning the people to the Faith. His works are integral to the Syrian Church. In adherence to the Gospel, Ephrem reached out and cared for the least of his brethren leaving the 99 to go in search of the one who was lost. This dedication to the will of God and uncompromisingly living the Gospel to win souls to the Lord show why he was a clarion of clarity to those suffering from the confusion of the Arian heresy. He is affectionately known as the Harp of the Holy Ghost

With today's feast of St. Ephrem the Deacon before tomorrow's feast of Corpus Christi we present, through the courtesy of TraditionalCatholicSermons.org an eleven-minute sermon by Bishop Daniel Dolan on this holy Doctor of the Church delivered on June 18, 2009. The bishop shares the life of St. Ephrem, also spelled Ephraem, who was one of the first to proclaim and promote the dogma of the Immaculate Conception, even though he was a hermit. He relied fully on the inspiration of the Holy Ghost to convert the common people through hymns and plays to explain the orthodoxy of the holy Faith in such logical simplicity. This totally confounded the heretics who either retreated or converted. Listen to the bishop's words on St. Ephrem the Deacon

The Octave Day of the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus concludes this Octave Week. The Feast and Octave was established in order to stimulate the faithful to honor with more devotion and zeal, under the symbol of the Sacred Heart, the love of Jesus Christ, which Induced Him not only to suffer and to die for the redemption of mankind, but also to institute the Sacrament of His Body and Blood. Though the devotion of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is of great antiquity In the Church, yet it was reserved to the holy St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, of the Order of the Visitation, to make this devotion public. During the Octave of Corpus Christi, In the year 1690, our Blessed Lord appeared to His devoted handmaid, and disclosing to her His Heart, said. "Behold this Heart, which, notwithstanding the burning love for man with which it is consumed and exhausted, meets with no other return from the generality of Christians than sacrilege, contempt, Indifference and ingratitude. But what will it avail us to have ...More

There is a commemoration at the Collect, Secret and Postcommunion of the holy virgin St. Juliana Falconieri who was born in Florence in 1270. She was the niece of St. Alexis Falconieri and even as a child showed such sanctity that her holy uncle told her mother that she had given birth to an angel. To hear sin spoken of made her tremble. At the age of fifteen she consecrated her virginity to God. She founded the ...More

Per Christ's promise, He sent His Spirit to be with us always until the consummation of the world as He asserts in St. Matthew 28: 20. There may have been a few anxious moments among the apostles over those ten days while they cowered in the cenacle room after our Lord's Ascension. He was gone, what now? They found out, oh, did they on Pentecost Sunday and the rest is history for the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, He Who proceeds from the Father and the Son has been busy ever since as the Sanctifier in bestowing both Sanctifying and Actual Grace on those willing to accept it as heirs to Heaven. The Holy Ghost is indeed the Source of the life of the Church. With that in mind, we can clearly see God does not consider the conciliar church His Church or He would not have withdrawn His protection and graces as we can see Step Ten: The Sanctifier and Grace.

Today we begin the Novena of Devotions to Our Mother of Perpetual Help. In many traditional parishes it is said each Tuesday of the week. This devotion, attributed to the miraculous events of the famous icon of Our Lady and Christ Child from the 14th Century on that was preserved despite the doubts of its miraculous nature by those charged with taking care of it. It wasn't until 1866 that Pope Pius IX solemnly enshrined it in the church of San Alfonso (St. Alphonsus Liguori) between the Basilicas of the Lateran and St. Mary Major in Rome as Our Lady had originally requested. The icon is unique for it's symbolism as you can see with Understanding the Icon's symbols. For the beautiful devotion see Devotion to Our Mother of Perpetual Help

The month of June is an ideal time to contact a true priest to have your home enthroned to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, especially in these times when satan can enter so easily through technology, acquaintances, what not. There are beautiful devotions in the Consecration and prayers that you can repeat monthly, weekly, or more often and on major feasts. In this time when many, because of distance, cannot get to a true Mass, it is the next best thing to have your home as a haven for the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. See Enthronement in the Home

The Mass of the Blessed Virgin shows us Mary as Mother of our Savior. She was predestined from all eternity for the role of co-redemptrix (Epistle), for as Eve was the intermediary chosen by the angel of darkness to bring about the fall of Adam, so also Mary the intermediary to whom the angel Gabriel delivered the message of salvation from Heaven. She is ...More

Faith, Hope and Charity are the cross, anchor, and burning heart that sustain us through the theological virtues and open to us the bountiful Gifts and Fruits. Without these vital virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity, one cannot possess spiritual virtue nor reach Heaven. If one lacks the Virtue of Faith, one does not trust in God and therefore it is impossible to please Him for one lacks faith in Him. If one lacks Hope, the opposite is despair and despair of the Holy Ghost is an unpardonable sin if it is one's last act. Finally, if one lacks Charity one exhibits that they do not love God if they do not love their neighbor as Christ mandates as the Two Great Commandments. So basically, without the theological virtues one cannot reach Heaven. That is why they are represented symbolically by the cross to signify the price for redemption, the anchor to signify we must not only be grounded in Faith but trust in God with unwavering Hope, and the heart for Charity for its beating sustains life both in this finite life and in the hereafter. And to reach the afterlife one can better achieve that goal through the Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Ghost as is outlined in Step Eleven, Gifts and Fruits of Faith, Hope and Charity.

The links above and below provide almost daily updates. The two above can be trusted totally, while we urge a mild caution on the two below because of their refusal to admit Francis is a false pope.

We encourage you to learn more about the Traditional Latin Mass - the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in these videos at this link because each time you worthily assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in person, you gain graces that are placed in a "golden chalice", so to speak, and is offered to God to be weighed in substance when you stand before Him at your Particular Judgment. The more you have filled this chalice, the better will it go for your spiritual welfare in eternity, enhanced by your cooperation with grace. Know the Mass

When One Cannot physically assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished. Here we provide prayers in preparation for fulfilling assistance in absentia in addition to the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and PROPER OF THE DAY. PRAYERS IN ABSENTIA

    Prayer Before the Crucifix

Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself upon my knees in Thy sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul I pray and beseech Thee that Thou wouldst fix deep within my heart lively sentiments of Faith, Hope and Charity, with true repentance for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment, whilst with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate Thy five most precious Wounds; having before my eyes the words which David in prophesy spoke concerning Thee, O Good Jesus: "They have pierced My hands and My feet; they have numbered all My bones."

    Plenary Indulgence, Condition:
    • Confession
    • Communion
    • One Our Father
    • One Hail Mary
    • One Glory be...
Pope Pius IX, July 31, 1858

  • The Fatima Prayers

My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!

O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.

The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary. And she conceived of the Holy Ghost.

Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be it done unto me according to Thy word.

    Hail Mary...

And the Word was made flesh. And dwelt among us.

    Hail Mary...

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

    Let us pray.
Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Angelus Domini nuntiavit Mariae. Et concepit de Spiritu Sancto.

Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructis ventris tui, Jesus.

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

Ecce ancilla Domini. Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum.

    Ave Maria...

Et Verbum caro factum est. Et habitavit in nobis.

    Ave Maria...

Ora pro nobis, sancta Dei Genitrix. Ut digni efficiamur promissionibus Christi.

    Oremus.
Amen.
