If it is not obvious by now that those on the left have ruled the Vatican since 1962, we don't know if the clueless comfort-zone-clinging sheeple will ever realize that. The good tree that Jesus refers to in the gospels cannot bear bad fruit as you see above during the pontificate of Pope Pius XII was a good tree, but upon his death on October 9, 1958 something disastrous happened and satan got in. At the ensuing conclave the Holy Ghost removed his protection and thus began the false church with the election of the heretical Sillonist Angelo Roncalli. The branch to the true tree with its roots in the Rock of Peter was severed though few recognized the consequences. With Vatican 2 called by the liberal Roncalli, the CONciLIAR church was formed and it's been downhill for souls ever since, with each worse than his predecessor where we can readily see the barren tree today of the counterfeit church that apes the Catholic Church but is destined for the eternal furnace as Christ foretells. Below, on the 50th anniversary year of the end of that dreaded, heretical council we ask if the implosion of this abominable entity is imminent. We can only pray as Mr. Jorge Bergoglio continues to remove the mask, so bold are these Marxist Hegelians in their quest to destroy any semblance of Catholicity in their goal of a One World Order.
The sad fact is that too many have settled in and accepted the sophistic, anathema that has been passed down by the CONciLIAR potentates of the man-made church of Darkness that has deceived so many souls since the Conclave of 1958. On Tuesday the issuance of apostate Father Joseph Ratzinger's Motu Proprio "Summorum Pontificum" will have been in effect in the false church for exactly eight years. It was specifically crafted to lure in the SSPX and those who eschew sedevacantism. You see those who embrace the theological opinion that the Chair of Peter has been empty since the death of the last true Pope realize that these CONciLIAR hierarchs care not one wit that a true Pope - His Holiness St. Pius V - set in stone nearly five centuries ago that the Immemorial Mass of All Ages - the Apostolic Canonical Latin Mass must be said in perpetuity and there is no need to ask permission. Oh, His Holiness also said it could not be altered when codifying all the dogmatic decrees, infallible ones no less, of the Council of Trent. To the uninformed, Trent trumps anything that's come from Vatican 2 on. In fact the latter is totally null and void.
The number above 07-07-07 07-07-15, when added up, equals 50. That is the exact number of years since the close of that heretical council. Yes, it is now a half century since that abominable council closed and yet they're still trying to tweak it, especially with the worst of the lot now occupying the Vatican with "who am I to judge" apostate unFrancis. What was that again that Our Lord said about a bad tree cannot bear good fruit? See the dots above.
For several features written eight years ago that have proved prophetic, see articles below by Father Anthony Cekada, Griff Ruby, Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey and editor Michael Cain for this ignominious anniversary.
What will be left? We can only pray that not one stone of the false church of Vatican 2 - the CONciLIAR church of Darkness - will be left as well. We pray those who claim Judaism will realize the Messias has already come and He will come again. Pray they and their confreres in the Novus Ordo Messes will not be left wanting. In order to help that cause, those in the "Recognize-and-Resist" camps need to examine their arguments and see how, despite their own pride, they trip all over themselves in trying to defend how apostate Bergoglio is a true 'pope' while all the evidence belies that statement. When that fails, they continue to fall back on their latest talking point that actually Ratzinger is still 'pope' and was forced to resign. Uh, yeah, right. Haven't they learned anything from these deceivers? For reasons beyond logical people, they fail to admit ol' Joe excommunicated himself decades ago latae sententiae as a heretic, thus putting himself outside the Church. Now tell me, can a non-Catholic heretic be a Pope? Of course not. But back to ol' Jorge. We remind you in a two and a half minute video by Epichea Productions and first posted by Fr. Anthony Cekada on his Quidlibet to wake up the faithful to connect the dots on what constitutes a heretic. This shows clearly there is no room for doubt: The Vatican 2 'popes' have been heretics, ergo not true Roman Pontiffs. Flee the false church or forever rue it.
To hammer home a point, we can't fathom what has happened to our beloved Church, now in eclipse for the past half a century, but we also know how it will end and we can see the end in sight for the inerrant scriptures tell us this false church is the "church of Babylon" in St. John's Book of the Apocalypse in chapters 17 and 18, not to mention St. Paul's words in 2 Thessalonians 2: 3-11 where God would allow man to believe a lie which is what He is doing in testing man's faith. So far the vast majority have flunked miserably and they weren't even using Common Core! Those who have buried their heads in the sand and ignore what is going on in Christ's holy Church, well they have Apocalypse 3: 15-16 to warn them if they continue to remain lukewarm. A few reliable sources who are definitely not lukewarm are the following sites we highly recommend to keep abreast of events as fast as they are spinning out of control along with the causes and consequences. This is especially important right now in the aftermath of the horrific secular 'encyclical' on global warming. What so many forget is what is happening today is NOT global warming, but rather a global WARNING from God. Thus we confidently point you to NovusOrdoWatch.org and Christorchaos.com for articles and links, as well as these blogs worth your while, Introibo Ad Altare Dei, Fr. Anthony Cekada's Quidlibet, Bishop Donald Sanborn's In Veritate, and the satirical, but on-point Call Me Jorge. We also point you to Traditio which, although the Father Moderators will not admit the term "sedevacantism", 95% of what they provide reinforces this position. Note, we provide here those sites that carry almost daily coverage and in no way demean other sites that update more infreqently. For those sites, please see Traditional Catholic Resource Port.
The end of this week we observe the Third Saturday of the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade first introduced by Bishop Robert McKenna, O.P. several years ago and going strong today, but could be stronger if more particpated and stormed Heaven with those Rosaries, the most powerful weapon you have in your possession 24-7. For more on this, see the Holy Rosary and Third Saturday of Rosary Crusade focusing on the Navity of Our Lord and Savior.
This week we begin on Wednesday the Nine-Day Novena in preparation for the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel leading up to her feast next Thursday. We bookend the week with audio sermons by Fr. Benedict Hughes, CMRI and Bishop Daniel Dolan respectively. John Gregory providesthe Haydock Commentary for the Sixth Sunday after Pentecost on how through baptism we die to sin and how the miracle of the loaves was a prescience of the True Presence in the Holy Eucharist, just as manna in the Old Testament was a foretoken of the same. On the Octave Day of Sts. Peter and Paul we present a feature on the traditional observance of the holy English Martyr St. Thomas More as his fate could very well be our fate if we are true to Christ in light of the recent persecutions and the "soup-ream" court's abominable decisions. But in order to stand for the true Faith, we must recognize where the true Faith exists. Remember Our Lord's words in Luke 18: 8, "But yet the Son of man, when he cometh, shall he find, think you, faith on earth?"
As much as I hate to ask, there is no other choice. . As you know, this long-running publication has always used that analogy for this publication in inviting all to "set sail with DailyCatholic.org" We can confidently say, without a shadow of a doubt for all the years we've been publishing on-line, that we've never steered one soul wrong in all we've published. For our content has been in 100% accord with the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church firmly aboard the true Barque of Peter. Speaking of vessels, over the last year we've been taking on water even in a drought year, no less, due to a bilge of bills. To stay afloat we need to turn to you our readers. It has been over a year since this editor made a plea for funds. Prior to that my beloved late bride Cyndi would write a heartfelt plea and benefactors would respond generously. With her gone, I'm not too good at asking for money, but purveyors need to be paid so necessity is the mother of invention and I have to ask. Speaking of mothers and Cyndi, it was Henry Ward Beecher who said "The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother." I can confidently say before God I loved their mother dearly and dearly hope that what we imparted as parents will sustain them in this chaotic world where the secular demons of the world, the flesh and the devil have eclipsed Christ's holy Church, chasing the faithful remnant into the catacombs of sedevacantist churches and chapels. That is where we are today, isolated, if you will, from the vast majority because of our belief in the true Faith. But belief alone, as strong as it is, isn't, unfortunantely, strong enough to move mountains or meet expenditures that continue to increase as the economy teeters. Therefore, I need to raise $5,000.00 for this apostolate to continue as it has been. I set that amount for we have always budgeted $25,000. a year in donations and to date since January the total is $7,000. and we're almost half-way through the year. Hopefully you can more readily see the deficit and why the DailyCatholic's plight is nearing a crisis point. I would hope and pray you will see in your heart the compassion to help and we remind you with the graphic below, repeated each day. We remind you we are a bonafide 501c3 non-profit so any and all contributions are tax-deductible. I also remind you that this editor does not take one penny in salary. It remains a labor of love. Now I just ask for a little love from our readers by clicking the graphic below to take you to our Donation page. Thank you in advance.
To enhance each Sunday's Epistle and Gospel we present this special feature provided by John Gregory with the Haydock Commentary found at the bottom of each page of the Douay-Rheims Bible. We publish it here in conjunction with the Epistle and Gospel for the Sunday Mass, with the cogent comprehensive Catholic Commentary penned by Father George Leo Haydock. For the Sixth Sunday after Pentecost we are reminded that through baptism we die to sin and are crucified with Christ, confident in knowing that if we are faithful to Him He will always be faithful to us, and, as St. Mark's Gospel illustrates in the loaves and the fishes, there is no end to His mercy and promises. We will always have nourishment for the soul. If we die to sin we will always be nourished Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a ten-minute sermon given three years ago by Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, Rector of St. Joseph Seminary at the City of Mary in Rathdrum, Idaho. Father points out the theme for the Sixth Sunday after Pentecost on the second account of the loaves and the fishes is about the abundance of God's treasures and how He bestows so much on us both spiritually and temporally, always providing for our needs. We should not worry since the birds of the air are taken care of and Christ emphasizes how much more important the soul is than the body. The graces are available to us if we but take advantage of assisting at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and observe devotions, as well as silent prayer. It is truly amazing how many souls are lost considering God asks so little of them. Only on Judgment Day will all be revealed. If one is truthful they will say either they wished to profit by grace or they did not. It's that simple. Father explains in The Abundance of Grace is there for the taking

Besides this being the Octave Day of the First Class Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul, it is also the traditional feast of another man who had the courage of those two apostles. He was a man for all seasons and all reasons, which was not reason enough for the ruthless Henry VIII to stay his hand of execution and seal his own soul in a vortex of further sin by condemning the innocent St. Thomas More to death. Do you really think the Modernists will be any less lenient when we stand against the false church of conciliarism? We have already seen that anything goes except if you are a Traditional Catholic. Never mind that the CONciLIAR cabal will do anything to justify the heretical Vatican 2 by their elevating two apostate false 'popes' John 23 and John Paul 2 to the same echelons as Pope St. Pius V and Pope St. Pius X. We must be willing to have the guts and grace that the holy martyr Thomas had for the true Faith. Are we ready to do that? Are we ready to stand alone? We should take courage from this layman, who was Chancellor of England. Here was a man who gave up home, his wife, family, prestige, treasures, the plaudits of man, and his very life rather than compromising one iota with anyone who would dare veer from the one and only true Faith Christ established upon the Rock of Peter. He realized his greatest treasure was his soul. He would do nothing to jeopardize that. Today, such principle and commitment seems less and less a reality. There is great wisdom in holy Mother Church's choice of liturgival propers throughout the year in documenting and emphasizing salvific history for the purpose of reminding the faithful the importance of remembering their mission as the Church Militant and our role in assisting the Church Suffering in order that we may all reach our final goal of joining the Church Triumphant. Saints Cyril and Methodius were two brothers were born in Thessalonica in 827 and 826 respectively to a Byzantine Greek drungarios (a military rank) named Leon. Cyril was reputedly the youngest of seven brothers, according to the Vita Cyrilli ("The Life of Cyril"). Cyril's birth name was Constantine and he was probably renamed Cyril (Greek for 'Lordly') just before or after his death in Rome. The two brothers lost their father when Cyril was ...More
Eight years since Summorum Pontificum was released and all that the writers below predicted have been realized. UnFrancis has blatantly exposed it as the trap it was that Ratzinger tried to hide. We knew from the get-go in 2007 that Ratzinger's announcement of his Motu Mess was merely to deceive semi-traditionalists that he was sincere when, in reality, we all know what he really intended: to curtail any resistance from the Recognize-and-Resist crowd. Well, you think they're happy now with his replacement being the progressive Marxist apostate Mr. Jorge Bergoglio? Actually this had better be a wake-up call to the R&R gang that the sedevacantists have been right all along. Will they have the honesty to admit that? We can only pray they are not further deceived by believing there is any Catholicity left in Rome. unFrancis is doing all he can to squelch any Latin Mass, even invalid ones from 1962. We list below links to prophetic articles on the Motu Mess including Griff Ruby's prophetic Motu Wars four-part series, all of which nailed it as far as foretelling exactly what would happen. Now we know. Do those in the Recognize-and-Resist camp know? If not, read below: Griff studied the CONciLIAR document Summorum Pontificum and foretold exactly what would happen. St. Elizabeth of Portugal was born in 1271 and was named after her great-aunt, the great Elizabeth of Hungary, but is known in Portuguese history by the Spanish form of that name, Isabel. The daughter of Pedro III, King of Aragon, and Constantia, grandchild of Emperor Frederick II, she was educated very piously, and led a life of strict regularity and self-denial from her childhood: she said the full Divine Office daily, fasted and did other penances, and gave up amusement. Elizabeth was married very early to King Denis of Portugal, a poet, and known as Rei Lavrador, or the working king, from his hard work in his country's service. His morals, however, were extremely bad, and the court to which his young wife was exposed was extremely corrupt. Nevertheless, Elizabeth quietly pursued ...More Today begins the nine day Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel that was composed in part by St. Simon Stock in the thirteenth century for it was to him the Mother of God, dressed in the colors of Carmel as a Carmelite holding her divine Son as a child, appeared to him and bequeathed to him the Brown Scapular which every true Catholic wears without fail 24 hours a day. It is similar to the monastic scapulars in miniature form and is considered a sacramental since it is blessed and Our Lady has promised that those who wear it faithfully will be granted the grace of final perseverance as long as they remain in the state of Sanctifying Grace. Today is Day One The Nativity of the Redeemer Jesus Christ was the fulfillment of God's promise to man. This joyful annual feast is celebrated throughout the Christian world with various customs but the same purpose: honor and glory to the Son of God born in a place fit only for animals. Yet God chose such a setting to emphasize humility for as hearts were full of joy at His birth, our hearts should be full of joy not only on the feast of His birth, but every second of our lives for the greatest gift He could have given us: life and the true Faith. Yes, for many it was by the 'accident' of birth that we were born into a Catholic family; others converted through the grace of God and through the goodness of those God places in their lives to effect a conversion of heart. His birth should also be a strong reminder that when we celebrate the Child nestled in the wood of the manger it is only by being willing to nail ourselves on the wood of the Cross in order to reap the rewards of eternal life for He is the Life, the Light and the Word...the Word made flesh Who dwells among us always in our hearts, souls and in the Holy Eucharist when the bread and wine are confected in the pre-Vatican II true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Yes, it may be going against the grain according to worldly values, but if one is concerned about that, then one totally misses the point of Christmas as laid out in step Twenty-Three The Arrival of the Savior The Mass today is of the Feria from Mass of the previous Sixth Sunday after Pentecost minus the Creed and carrying a common preface. Holy Church reminds us in this Feria Mass of the effects of the two great Sacraments: Baptism and the Eucharist, which she has conferred at Easter and Whitsunday. Her mind being still occupied with the Sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist, which she has administered at Easter and at Pentecost, the Church reminds us today of the effects of these two great Sacraments. ...More There is a commemoration today of Saint Maria Goretti, the twelve-year old virgin martyr who was beatified by Pope Pius XII in 1947 and, on June 25, 1950 Maria Goretti became the first saint in the history of the Church to have her mother present at her canonization. She was born in ...More We continue the nine day Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel that was composed in part by St. Today is Day Two With this issue we resume our Catholicism Made Simple Series as we pick up after the Nativity, Epiphany and Flight into Egypt. From that point on there is a gap until Jesus is twelve years old. Then after a brief initial encounter with the Scribes and Pharisees as a signal of where He was destined to challenge the hypocrites, the Scriptures merely say He returned with Mary and Joseph and was obedient to them. That's it. He doesn't surface again in divine Revelation until He ventures forth to fast for 40 days and nights in the desert, followed by the Temptation and subsequently His ringing rejection, Vade, Satanas!; something that should be on our lips in fending off the devil who, as St. Peter relates, "goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he might devour." As protection against the devil, our Lord led by example, submitting to His cousin the Baptist to be baptized in the Jordan. Thus, the question always arises: So what do we know of those hidden years? The revelations to Venerable Maria Agreda, St. Gertrude the Great, St. Teresa of Avila, and St. John of God as well as St. Bridget among many saints without even counting other private, yet highly speculative disclosures, such as Poem of the Man-God, give us a hint, but only a hint for it was a time of formation to prepare the greatest Preacher of all time for His three-year ministry that has forever had an impact on civilization. God chose this time to be private, a testimony that the family came first and the importance of living the Fourth Commandment. Quite a change from today's topsy-turvy priorities that have so skewered the family unit, dedication to the divine will, virtue and morality. Thus, we look back on The Hidden Years St. Felicitas and her seven sons were put to death for the Faith, about the year 162, under Marcus Aurelius. The sons preceded their mother to Heaven; she followed them four months afterwards. In order to strike terror into the hearts of the Christians the death sentences were not all carried out in the same place, for Januarius was beaten to death with leaden scourges and was buried in the Cemetery of Praetextatus, Felix and Philip died under the whip and received burial in that of Priscilla, Silanus was thrown from a precipice and was interred with his mother in the Cemetery of Maximus, Alexander, Vitalis and Martial were beheaded and were given the honor of sepultare in the Cemetery of the Giordani. The earliest list of the Roman feasts of martyrs, known as the "Depositio Martyrum" and dating from the time of Pope Liberius, i.e. about the middle of the fourth century (Ruinart, Acta sincera, Ratisbon, p. 631), mentions seven martyrs whose feast was kept on 10 July. Their remains had been deposited in four different catacombs, viz. in three cemeteries on the Via Salaria and in one on the Via Appia. Two of the martyrs, Felix and Philip, reposed in ...More We continue the nine day Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel that was composed in part by St. Today is Day Three We've been paralleling the liturgical season with the Birth of Jesus, His early years and Hidden life. In step twenty-five we focus on Christ's Public Life. After spending 30 years with his holy and Immaculate Mother Mary and taking care of her after His stepfather Joseph's peaceful death, the Son of God knew His time had come to go forth. It was His Own Mother who may well have rushed His fame by beseeching Him to perform His first miracle at the Wedding Feast of Cana. Even though He had not intended to do so, the persuasion of His Mother out of compassion for the bride and groom illustrated something Catholics realize all too well and bemoan the fact Protestants do not for Mary is the answer to reaching Jesus for He cannot say no to His Mother. Possessing the divine nature, Jesus could very well have gone forth and converted all by one miracle and all would be satisfied, but using His second nature as man He was like any man except for the capability of sinning and chose to follow the human path in teaching God's truths by preserving free will, giving man the choice between Christ or chaos. Because of this He employed parables that all might understand at their level of understanding and still have the capability to think for themselves and choose. Why did Christ only spend one tenth of His life in public? That is a question we may never know until the end of time, but we do know that He left us an example that after God, family comes first and it could be the crux of why the world is in the shape it is today because we have abandoned such wisdom, opening the door to His adversary. We'd be wise to reread the Gospels often to truly realize what a treasure has been left to us as you can see in Step Twenty-Five Time to Begin The Mass of the Blessed Virgin shows us Mary as Mother of our Savior. She was predestined from all eternity for the role of co-redemptrix (Epistle), for as Eve was the intermediary chosen by the angel of darkness to bring about the fall of Adam, so also Mary the intermediary to whom the ...More There is also a commemoration today of the Feast of Pope Saint Pius I, Martyr and great Pope of the Second Century. According to the earliest list of the popes, given by Irenaeus ("Adv. haer.", II, xxxi; cf. Eusebius, "Hist. eccl.", V, vi), Pius was the ninth successor of St. Peter. The dates given in the Liberian Catalogue for his pontificate (146-61) rest on a false calculation of earlier chroniclers, and cannot be accepted. The only chronological datum we possess is supplied by the year of St. Polycarp of Smyrna's death, which may be referred with great certainty to 155-6. On his visit to Rome in the year before his death Polycarp found Anicetus, the successor of Pius, bishop there; consequently, the death of Pius must have occurred about 154. The ...More We continue the nine day Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel that was composed in part by St. Simon Stock in the thirteenth century for it was to him the Mother of God, dressed in the colors of Carmel as a Carmelite holding her divine Son as a child, appeared to him and bequeathed to him the Brown Scapular which every true Catholic wears without fail 24 hours a day. Today begins the nine day Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel that was composed in part by St. Today is Day One
The Nativity of the Redeemer Jesus Christ was the fulfillment of God's promise to man. Yes, it may be going against the grain according to worldly values, but if one is concerned about that, then one totally misses the point of Christmas as laid out in step Twenty-Three The Arrival of the Savior
The Mass today is of the Feria from Mass of the previous Sixth Sunday after Pentecost minus the Creed and carrying a common preface. Holy Church reminds us in this Feria Mass of the effects of the two great Sacraments: Baptism and the Eucharist, which she has conferred at Easter and Whitsunday. Her mind being still occupied with the Sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist, which she has administered at Easter and at Pentecost, the Church reminds us today of the effects of these two great Sacraments. ...More

We'd be wise to reread the Gospels often to truly realize what a treasure has been left to us as you can see in Step Twenty-Five Time to Begin

Today is Day Four Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a five and half sermon given eight years ago for the feast of the holy Sovereign Pontiff St. Pius I, named after one of the Gifts of the Holy Ghost - piety. He was devoted to the Blessed Sacrament and revived devotion to the Most Precious Blood. His Excellency explains the reverence one must have and great care taken if even one drop should fall to the ground. He bemoans how so many sacrileges are committed today in the church of Darkness, which of course cannot confect the bread and wine into the flesh and blood of Christ. He encourages us to foster devotion to the Most Precious Blood as Pius did. Pope St. Pius I We urge you to click the Rosary banner above for the Third Saturday in the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade organized by Bishop Robert McKenna, O.P. to do our part for the salvation of souls by bringing souls to the true Catholic Faith and Sacraments, for the welfare of our country, and for our own special intentions as we all strive for holiness in our role as members of the Church Militant. On this third Saturday of the Fifteen we focus on detachment fromn things of this world, contempt of riches, and love of poverty illustrated in the humble Bethlehem manger as we feature the Third Joyful Mystery - the magnificent event of the Nativity of Jesus Christ for the Third Saturday

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners. O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament! O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.

The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary. And she conceived of the Holy Ghost.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be it done unto me according to Thy word.
And the Word was made flesh. And dwelt among us.
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Angelus Domini nuntiavit Mariae. Et concepit de Spiritu Sancto.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.
Ecce ancilla Domini. Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum.
Et Verbum caro factum est. Et habitavit in nobis.
Ora pro nobis, sancta Dei Genitrix. Ut digni efficiamur promissionibus Christi.
