     Help us reach more souls

This fifth edition for September completes the month of Our Sorrowful Mother and begins the month of October. Sunday begins a period of 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting leading up to the mid-term elections in early November. If you want to see the pendulum swing back toward America as a God-fearing nation then it not only happens via prayer and penance, but also by action at the ballot box by voting out all who go against His Laws. If, in voting for candidates, for each one you see is not for returning God and morality, then don't vote for either because choosing the lesser of two evils is never justified. Rather, go the extra step to write in Jesus Christ as a way of protesting these candidates. Will Our Lord win? No, because not enough will do it to count. You might ask, but isn't that wasting your vote and therefore you have no right to complain when a worst candidate gets in? The world might think that, but God knows and, after all, that's all that counts.

To help us in deciding we need only rely on God's right-hand man St. Michael the Archangel whose Double of the First Class Feast we celebrate on Mondy for his Dedication. We call on the protection of Our Lady and the heavenly winged knight - he who is like God, quis ut Deus to protect us as the times grow darker from sin engulfing the world in every venue of life, snuffing out whatever sanctifying grace is available in the few true tabernacles around the world. Thanks to the apostate Giovanni Montin aka Paul 6, he abolished the powerful prayer below that His Holiness Pope Leo XIII composed after given a vision from Heaven of God and St. Michael negotiating with the Archangel's equal - the fallen angel Lucifer, aka satan, devil, beelsebub - evil of the highest degree. That prayer, part of the Leonine Prayers recited after every Low Mass in traditional chapels today was taken away from conciliar Catholics and with it, the protection afforded by God's most powerful right-hand guardian. We have seen the tragic results of this over the past 50 plus years, and these next forty days are an ideal opportunity to put our knees where our mouth is and pray and fast, knowing we have the head of God's mightiest army behind us. How can we lose? But we need to do our part that begins with staying in the state of sanctifying grace and uniting with the Blessed Virgin Mary by devoutly praying her holy Rosary as often as our states in lfe permit, hopefully daily, in order to fend off the demons that prowl throughout the world, seeking the ruin of souls.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray, and do thou, O heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

For more on the full prayer composed by Pope Leo XIII, see O Prince of the heavenly Host

Speaking of St. Michael, the Annual Fatima Conference will be held once again at Mount St. Michael's in Spokane this year from October 8-12 with this year's theme "Fatima and the Great Apostasy". The keynote speaker this year is Jeffrey Knight, who heads up the online Corpus Christi University. Also, October 8 is the feast of the holy mystic St. Bridget of Sweden whose revelations and prophesies of which we will feature each day throughout October beginning with this Wednesday. Finally, we are pleased to bring you inspirational articles for six out of the seven feasts this week by Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey from his uncompromising site Christ or chaos, so appropriately named for over two decades for we are truly in that time of chaos foretold in public and private revelation. I encourage you to read his articles that will document exactly what the problems are as does NovusOrdoWatch.org. I guarantee it.

Over the past two weeks we had a smorgasbord of martyrs and we finish the month with one more martyr St. Wenceslaus on Sunday. Then we begin a week of well-known saints and feasts with St. Michael on Monday as noted above, then the holy Doctor of the Church on Tuesday St. Jerome who compiled all the scriptures into one, calling it the Bible four centuries after Christ. I ask all Protestants to please take note of the timeline. Catholics know that nothing new has been revealed once St. John finished his work on the Isle of Patmos. You might have heard of it. It's called the Book of the Apocalypse, which, thanks to the Revolution is now widely known as Revelation, more of the changes wrought by those abdicating the true faith for what they thought was best for man, not God. That has translated into over 33,000 different sects today with only one of them being the Church Christ built upon the Rock of Peter. Just as King Wencelaus brought the Faith to Bohemia, so also the holy Bishop St. Remigius brought the true faith to France in converting King Clovis earning France the title as "first daughter of the Church". And speaking of France, one of the most beloved of French saints is St. Therese of Lisieux, the Little Flower, whose feast we celebrate on Friday followed by the feast of one of the most loved saints, dear St. Francis of Assisi. And, this week we celebrate the feast of the Holy Guardian Angels on Thursday. Trust always in your guardian angel and pray to them as often as you can.

Angel of God, my guardian dear,
to whom God's love commits me here.
Ever this day be at my side,
to light, to guard, to rule, and guide.
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake,
I pray the Lord, my soul to take. Amen.

Cyndi's guardian angel Joseph was there to take her soul to the Lord last April and now she may very well be interceding on behalf of the faithful souls. Such was the devotion and dedication of my dear late bride Cyndi Adele Cain who so trusted in the angels, and who encouraged each person to pray to learn their guardian angel's name so they could know them better and as a reminder that one is never alone. Our guardian angels are with us at all times to guard us and guide us. Somehow my guardian angel Zacharria has kept this editor safe as well as our two son Kevin and Kellin with their guardian angels Pax and Lumen respectively. What to me is even greater news is that the thirty-day schedule of consecutive Gregorian Masses is currently now just past the halfway point. It was initiated by Fr. Gerard McKee, CMRI on the feast of Mary's Holy Name and will last through the feast of the Divine Maternity of Mary. Yes, this editor and her loving husband of 33 years truly believes she is already in Heaven. However, as I've said before, we can never presume on God and therefore all prayers will go to either speed her to the presence of the Beatific Vision or assist other souls to be freed from Purgatory. No prayer goes unanswered. And I appreciate all the kind words of consolation and prayers sent as well as donations to Cyndi's Angels. Through the generosity of a few loyal benefactors and several smaller donations I've been able to pare back the debt accrued for Cyndi's care from nearly $8000.00 to a more manageable $3000.00, as of this publishing, thus able to keep the wolves at bay. Though bill collectors don't rely on God's providence, I do, and so far He's guided those generous souls to help. I am eternally grateful to all who have contributed and keep each in my prayers daily even if the litany of names takes five to ten minutes. When I say I will pray for you, I mean personally I'll remember your name. It's the least I can do for your sharing and caring. However, and you knew this was coming, didn't you? Cyndi's Angels is not out of the wood yet, so to speak. I need to clear the books to maintain the excellent credit built up over the years, both personal and for this apostolate of SANCTUS. Anything you can give to pare down the remaining $3000.00 will be greatly appreciated. Only two donations were received this past week and the total amounted to under $100. It remains a trickling of donations over the past few weeks, mostly small monthly ones from our regular benefactors. Won't you please help? Just click the Cyndi's Angels logos on this site. Be assured your donation is tax-deductible. God bless you in advance for your charity.

To enhance each Sunday's Epistle and Gospel we present this special feature provided by John Gregory with the Haydock Commentary found at the bottom of each page of the Douay-Rheims Bible. For the Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost we have first St. Paul's epistle to the Ephesians in which he expands on a measure that cannot be measured, the breadth and width and length and depth of Christ's Love, true Charity for man. In the Gospel recorded by St. Luke, Our Lord provides the parable of the wedding feast to show that whomever exalts himself shall be humbled and he who humbles himself before God, shall be exalted as we see in The Last Shall Be First

St. Louis de Montfort now shows another method for saying the Rosary for each decade in reminding ourselves that the mysteries encompass the life of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ from womb to crowning His Immaculate Mother in Heaven. St. Louis realized the faithful may not be able to memorize or have the prayers he previously presented and therefore he also wanted to lay out the main rules of the Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary as long as one has a blessed Rosary, says it every day or at least once ea week and whenver possible Confession and Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month. He points out that these rules do not bind under pain of even a venial sin as he offers a Fifty-Fourth Rose with a Second Method

The Dedication of Saint Michael the Archangel is the original feast of the leader of the Heavenly armies, Saint Michael. The captain of the heavenly armies, the angel named in the Canon of the Mass, held from early times the first place in the Liturgy among the other angels; wherefore many churches dedicated to St. Michael in the Middle Ages were simply known as churches "of the holy angel." St. Michael, whose name signifies "who is like unto God" cast the evil spirit out of Heaven, and overcame Satan in the struggle for possession of the body of Moses. God has entrusted our defense, in the combat with the devil, to the angels. The reason of this is easily understood. The devil is a spirit who has lost none of the powers inherent to his nature. In order, therefore, that the struggle should not be unequal, God has placed at our side defenders of the same nature as Lucifer, that is to say pure spirits, who are, however, greater and more powerful than he is. There are several feasts of St. Michael in the Liturgy. ...More

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a nine-minute sermon given six years ago by Bishop Daniel Dolan on St. Michael the Archangel who is patron saint of many cities and churches. The bishop brings up a question: Why do we confess our sins to St. Michael? If we would confess our sins to each other as St. James says, why wouldn't we confess to St. Michael and Our Lady? So that we will realize the importance of humility without fear of anyone else knowing. Also, who has the ear of God more than His right hand man St. Michael as well as God's Immaculate Mother? We pray to St. Michael to guard us. Yes, we all have Guardian Angels, but it is St. Michael who drives off the devil and he knows our sins because he is a heavenly spirit. His Excellency explains in his sermon what a great saint he is for he always waits on God's command as the Bishop points out in St. Michael the Archangel

In honor of the Double of the First Class Feast of St. Michael on September 29, we highlight the entirety of the prayer Pope Leo XIII composed. We all know the short version, mandated to be included in the Leonine Prayers after every Low Mass, but few are aware of the longer version. After Vatican II, in legion with the devil Giovanni Montini outlawed this necessary prayer and then one wonders how "the smoke of satan" got into the sanctuary? The conciliarists wanted to make sure this powerful prayer would never see the light of day again for in it Leo foretold what would happen: The shepherd would be struck, the sheep scattered. We present both the long and short versions of this poignant prayer which should never be forgotten. The Power of the Prayer to St. Michael

St. Louis Marie-Grignon de Montfort presents now the penultimate inspiration with encouragement and a reminder direct from the Mother of God in a revelation to Blessed Alan de la Roche that he was to reassert devotion to the Rosary over two centuries after St. Dominic received it from Heaven. Through Blessed Alan's obedience and his attention to making sure those who said it did not cause scandal of any kind, devotion has spread so that the benefits and promises of the Rosary have lived up to what was foretold. It was a reminder, as St. Louis offers a Fifty-Fifth Rose on the Power, Value, and Holiness of the Rosary

Saint Jerome was born in Dalmatia in 329. Even during his life he was renowned as a Doctor and interpreter of Holy Scripture. He defended Catholic teaching against many heresies; his chief aim was to be a perfect monk and before he would consent to be raised to the priesthood he exacted a promise from Paulinus, Bishop of Antioch, that this new dignity should in no wise interfere with his monastic vocation. To him we owe the translation of the Holy Scriptures, the introduction of the alleluiatic chant into the Sunday Mass, the spread of monastic life among the ...More

The final day of the month, following immediately the Double of the First Class Feast of the Dedication of St. Michael the Archangel, is the feast of the holy Doctor of the Church St. Jerome. St. Jerome was born into a wealthy family and used those riches to receive the finest education at the hands of the world's greatest professors in Rome and then employed that wealth of knowledge for Christ's holy Church. He amassed all of the Scriptures and, through the grace of the Holy Ghost was able to translate the inspired word into the Latin tongue, all wrapped up in the magnificent Latin Vulgate. For this massive work that he accomplished while continuing to carry out his vocation and mission of shepherding souls into Heaven, he has often been called Father of the Mother Tongue

St. Louis Marie Grignon de Montfort completes his magnificent treatise on "The Secret of the Rosary" with more honor due the Queen of Heaven whom the angels venerate as Jesus asks all of us to do the same. One way we do besides the holy Rosary each day is to remember ejaculations to Our Lady and in every traditional parish the priest always leads the parishioners in a Hail Mary before he delivers his sermon. Several saints have documented these were the wishes of the Mother of God and St. Louis shares these accounts as he offers a final Fifty-Sixth Rose for the Salutation of the Rosary is worthy of the Queen of Heaven

October is the month of the Most Holy Rosary as we honor Our Lady and with this we also honor her chaste earthly spouse St. Joseph with a special prayer to him all through the month. There is a normal indulgence of three years; but during the month of October the indulgence is 7 years when said after the recitation of the Rosary. There's a a plenary indulgence once a month, on the usual conditions, for the daily recitation of this prayer (Pope Leo XIII, Encyclical Quamquam Pluries, Aug. 15, 1889; S. C. Ind., and released on Sept. 21, 1889; Reinforced by Pope Pius XI, Ap., May 17, 1927 and Dec. 13, 1935). For a printout of the prayer so you'll have it available to pray daily, see Prayer to Saint Joseph

With so many new readers, we decided to continue to bring you the revelations to St. Bridget of Sweden in honor of this being her month when on October 8 we celebrate her feast. The painting here of St. Bridget is so beautifully depicted in the painting by Michelle R. Maher. To see a larger copyrighted image click on the painting here. We continue with Book One and chapter five where the loving words of Christ to His bride Bridget is illustrated in the wonderful parable of a lovely castle, which signifies the holy Church Militant, where Jesus along with His loving Mother Mary show how the Church of God will be rebuilt by Our Lady's intercessory prayers and those of all the saints in the Church Triumphant as we see in Chapter Five Reason to Rebuild

In the prayer for the feast of St. Michael (September 29) we ask that the Holy Angels may fulfill the special office entrusted to them of watching faithfully over us upon earth. This feast included together with St. Michael the whole of the heavenly court. A distinct feast of the Guardian Angels originated only at a later date. The Spaniards observed it in the Sixteenth Century and Pope Paul V (September 27, 1608) declared the feast of the Guardian Angels, a feast of the whole Church, and ...More

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a sermon given three years ago by Fr. Casimir Puskorius, CMRI, pastor of Mount St. Michael's traditional Parish and Academy in Spokane, Washington. Father points out that we have no concept of the power and scope of these heavenly spirits and that we need to realize that is the kind of adversary in the non-serviam angels constantly tempting us for misery loves company. Thus we have the battle of good vs. evil and anyone not wanting to join the good angels, well, they should have their heads examined. should venerate and honor our guardian angels, especially those heavenly messengers assigned by God to be by our side to protect and guide us. Father notes that while these angelic good spirits are often represented as female, the Scriptures always depict masculine tendencies of strength and wisdom to the angels. Father explains the nine choirs of Angels and encourages us to pray to know our guardian angel's name as he shares his in his sermon on The Angels

We providee a chapter each day during October so readers can meditate on the contents of each short chapter and not be overwhelmed by too much. Continuing with the Revelations and Prophesies Imparted to St. Bridget of Sweden, in chapter six we see where Jesus conveys to St. Bridget that He will indeed separate the wheat from the chaff, distinguishing the righteous from the unrighteous for armed with spiritual weapons, God expects us to war against the world as we see in Chapter Six Trial by Fire

Mary Frances Teresa Martin was born of saintly parents at Alencon (Orne) on January 2, 1873. She was educated by the Benedictine Nuns at Lisieux. After her ninth year she tried to enter the Carmelites, and put her case before the Bishop of Bayeux and Pope Leo XIII, whom she visited. At the ...More

On the feast of St. Therese we want to bring you a lesson the late Cyndi Cain wrote six years ago as she provided a role model we can all follow in our search for sanctifying our lives. If we trust in God and place all in His care and offer all our sufferings, discomforts and setbacks for Him as Saint Therese of the Child Jesus did, then we can be encouraged that it can be done. Cyndi reminded us to take consolation in the fact that it is not our successes that God judges, but our efforts. He knows what is in our hearts. Whatever cocoon God so chooses to place us in as His Catholic caterpillars in digging in for the Faith, we can be encouraged by the manner in which St. Therese handled the "little things" that so please God. We need to know that doing as she did will build up dividends in Heaven so that when it is our time to shed the cocoon of our mortal bodies, He will lift us up just as He did the humble little saint of Lisieux: a beautiful butterfly who continually flutters in our hearts and stirs souls to seek the divine Will. This editor is confident that Cyndi completed her caterpillar contemplative crawl on earth and dying in the state of sanctifying grace, presented herself to divine Judge as a beautiful butterfly by her exemplary life of prayer, penance and self-denial in much the way she emulated St. Therese in It's the Little Way that Leads to Holiness

We providee a chapter each day during October so readers can meditate on the contents of each short chapter and not be overwhelmed by too much. We continue with chapter seven of the Revelations and Prophesies Imparted to St. Bridget of Sweden, where now the Blessed Virgin Mary appears to St. Bridget and informs her how to clothe herself in the garments and ornaments that such a loyal daughter as St. Bridget should always be dressed and adorned in as Mary goes through each item in Chapter Seven Dressed for the Bridegroom

Saint Francis of Assisi, born in 1182, was the founder of the Order of Friars Minor. Chosen by God to be a living manifestation to the world of Christ's poor and suffering life on earth, he was early inspired with a burning love of poverty and humiliation. Divine desire burned in him so mightily as to kindle a like desire in other hearts. Many joined him, and were constituted by Pope Innocent III into a Religious Order. He lived at the time when the feudal system was disappearing, and Christian democracy was dawning. St. Francis undertook to teach to this generation a spiritual language suited to ...More

ohn Gregory provides a contrast on the true St. Francis and the St. Francis the Vatican II church would like you to believe, the one where everyone loves everyone and live and let live. Not! Nor is there any similarity to the Argentine Marxist Modernist who usurped his name. While the apparatchiks of the counterfeit church of conciliarism whitewash the devastation that has visited the Church over the past fifty plus years, the evidence begs to shout the truth and all we need do is see the heresy spewed by Ratzinger and his predecessors and then read the real purpose behind the Seraphic Father's desire to convert the infidels and it had nothing to do with syncretism or ecumenism, but rather a necessity to convert to the Faith, the only Faith and St. Francis was willing to walk through the fire to win souls; something infidels would never do, nor would apostates. How do we know Modernist Rome is the apostate? We have St. Francis' own prophesies that confirm exactly what is being carried out today for we are indeed in that time foretold by Heaven and all the true prophets. John reminds us that we merely have to Look to St. Francis for Answers

We providee a chapter each day during October of the Church-approved plethora of prophesies revealed to St. Bridget of Sweden in the fourteenth century which, as we reflect on Our Lord and Our Lady's words to St. Bridget, apply even moreso in our very day and time as we are now in what was foretold as the Great Apostasy. Thus these words are meant more for us than any other generation. In this chapter the words of the Queen of Heaven to her beloved daughter teach her and us how we should love and praise the Son of God together with His Blessed Mother as we see in Chapter Eight All praise to the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts

We urge you to click the Rosary banner above for the Fifteenth and final Saturday in the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade organized by Bishop Robert McKenna, O.P. to do our part for the salvation of souls by bringing souls to the true Catholic Faith and Sacraments, for the welfare of our country, and for our own special intentions as we all strive for holiness in our role as members of the Church Militant. On this fifteenth Saturday of the Fifteen God pays the ultimate respect and honor to the Immaculate Mother by crowning her Queen of Heaven and earth, showing for all time how we are to honor the Mother of God as we enter the month of the Most Holy Rosary, the way Heaven wants us to honor her as we complete the fifteen decades with the Fifth Glorious Mystery for the Fifteenth Saturday

We know that so many of our readers are unable to assist at a true traditional Latin Mass because of where they live and use the daily liturgy we publish to gain the efficacious graces possible through their prayers at home. We remain the only publication in the world to provide such and are grateful to God that we can provide such nourishment for souls. Whatever you would have contributed toward any bloated political campaigns or thrown away in the conciliar collection plates that only goes to covering up the sins of its presbyters and false primates while destroying all semblence of Catholicism, why not earmark it for SANCTUS/DailyCatholic? After all, shouldn't we all take St. Paul's strong counsel in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 to heart and "stand firm, and hold the traditions which you have learned"?

The links above and below provide almost daily updates. The two above can be trusted totally, while we urge a mild caution on the two below because of their refusal to admit Francis is a false pope.

We encourage you to learn more about the Traditional Latin Mass - the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in these videos at this link because each time you worthily assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in person, you gain graces that are placed in a "golden chalice", so to speak, and is offered to God to be weighed in substance when you stand before Him at your Particular Judgment. The more you have filled this chalice, the better will it go for your spiritual welfare in eternity, enhanced by your cooperation with grace. Know the Mass

When One Cannot physically assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished. Here we provide prayers in preparation for fulfilling assistance in absentia in addition to the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and PROPER OF THE DAY. PRAYERS IN ABSENTIA

    The Fatima Prayers

My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!

O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.
