This month of November is dedicated to praying for the Holy Souls and offering up our penances and daily sacrifices for their deliverance from Purgatory. We do this with the daily prayer of the De Profundis (below) as well as saying our daily Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary wherein we honor her and Heaven's special weapon sent to St. Dominic to fight heresy. If ever this weapon needs to be put to use it is in these very trying times we all find ourselves in for with the Rosary nothing can defeat us. Pray as many Rosaries as your state in life will permit, realizing that with each Ave it is part of a grace-filled bouquet most pleasing to Mary's heavenly Father, her divine Son and her divine Spouse the Holy Ghost. If she's happy, you can be assured They're happy and that will make us happy. It's a matter of logic and love. Every moment of the day when we have time, pray a short ejaculation such as "Jesus meek and humble of Heart, make our hearts like unto Thine" and never forget the poor souls for we one day may very well be numbered among those in Purgatory and wouldn't we want those in the Church Militant to pray for those in the Church Suffering?

Call upon Christ and His Saints in the Church Triumphant, specifically His Most Blessed Mother and our heavenly mother to guard and guide us and give us strength to persevere and learn from the trials and tribulations we face each and every day in our dry martrydom that we do not slip and choose the easier path that leads to worldly acceptance and God's disapproval. Let us ask Mary to bring us safely to her divine Son, before His altar where we can receive Him Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity that we may grow in sanctifying grace to help us better focus on our mission as members of the Church Militant to apply our prayers, penances, sacrifices and self-mortifications for the conversion of those who are chained to the Novus Ordo, that they will realize the true Bread of Life is only confected in the Traditional Latin Mass, and let us continue to pray daily the Leonine Prayer said at the end of every Latin Low Mass:

Let us pray. O God, our refuge and our strength, look down in mercy on Thy people who cry to Thee; and by the intercession of the glorious and immaculate Virgin Mary Mother of God, of St. Joseph her spouse, of Thy blessed apostles Peter and Paul, and of all the saints, in mercy and goodness hear our prayers for the conversion of sinners, and for the freedom and exaltation of our Holy Mother Church. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

We have been promoting the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in everyone's home as Fr. Mateo Crawley-Boevey, SS.CC promoted. Now, as we see the prophesies of Sacred Scripture playing out in our time, we all need to intensify our prayer life. What better way for those who cannot be in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament because of the shortage of chapels where the True Presence resides, than to be encouraged to watch with Christ before a picture or statue of the Sacred Heart and spend one hour with him in a nightly Holy Hour in one's own home with one's own family. Many of us might feel we don't have one hour a day or week to devote to prayer with our busy life because things are so hectic. Yet, think about all the excuses we might give. Could it be things are hectic because we don't take the time to pray? Do we take our Lord's words seriously when He asked in St. Mark 14: 27, "Couldst thou not watch one hour?"

Our only answer is to do what Our Lady asked at Fatima: to pray daily her holy Rosary and to make reparation. The renowned "Rosary priest" Fr. Patrick Payton said "the family that prays together, stays together." In this time when the family is being fractured and phased out by Christ's enemies, what better way can we maintain our sanity and work on sanctity then bringing the family together to watch one hour with Jesus?

Fr. Mateo has implored us to offer our holy hour in adoration and thanksgiving, petition and atonement just as in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. In fact, he encourages us to include in our Holy Hour the Prayers of the Canon of the Mass, offering these prayers in union with all the true priests who, in other distant hemispheres, are simultaneously offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in Latin. It is an opportunity to add to the Silver Chalice when we cannot assist with the Golden Chalice.

Whatever prayers you might choose, know that God will be pleased that you took the time to devote to Him. Remember Christ's words "Ask, and you shall receive; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.". Let us all storm Heaven and, as we face a pivotal and crucial time in history, heed Fr. Mateo's prayer: "Conquer America, most Sacred Heart of Jesus! Reign in America, Christ the King!" Vivat Christus Rex! Vivo Christo Rey!

Each time we worthily assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in person, we gain graces that are placed in a "golden chalice", so to speak, and is offered to God to be weighed in substance when we stand before Him at our Particular Judgment. The more we have filled this chalice, the better will it go for our spiritual welfare in eternity, enhanced by our cooperation with grace.

In this time of Epikeia when the true Church is in eclipse and so few true Masses available, when we pray the Mass prayers and make a spiritual act of Communion at home, graces are also received and placed in a "silver chalice", as it were, which, of course, is not as valuable as the gold one, yet is efficacious when the time comes to make an accounting for our lives.

The founder of Human Life International, he headed that organization until his health and sanity could no longer take D.C. politics. He is the author of Faithful for Life and we must pray for the repose of his soul for now he realizes how wrong the Novus Ordo was. • The Soul of Abbe de Nantes
The Abbot Frère Georges de Jesus-Marie passed away at the age of 85 in France on February 15. Though he was one of the first and one of the most vocificerous in opposing Vatican II and its heresies and continued his accusations until the new millennium, he still sadly rejected sedevacantism. Instead he resisted men whom he considered legitimate. There is a big problem in that equation for if he recognized them as material popes, then he had a duty to obey them. That is the catch-22 that non-sedevacantists find themselves in when they refuse to connect the dots in reaching the ultimate syllogism that those men, occupying the Chair of Peter since the death of Pope Pius XII, are antipopes. Pray for the repose of his soul for now he knows.

"Qui legit, intelligat"
We are pleased to be able to provide an archive of sermons for each Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation by Father Louis J. Campbell to assist Traditionalists in their spiritual journey. The title for these Sunday Sermons is taken from Our Lord's most revealing and pertinent words in Matthew 24: vs. 15, "he that readeth, let him understand" - words that have much more significance in these times of grave crisis. Father Louis provides the nourishment from the Gospels so that we can all understand more clearly and respond to God's Holy Will. For his sermons, see Archives of Father's Sermons

When you can't attend the Holy Sacrifice
For those who cannot be present for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished. Here we provide prayers in preparation for fulfilling assistance in absentia in addition to the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and PROPER OF THE DAY. PRAYERS IN ABSENTIA

There are many Traditional Catholic Prayers and Devotion that enhance our spiritual life and allow all to continue the beautiful prayers that so many were weaned on beginning with the most powerful weapon we've always had available 24-7. That is the Holy Rosary. Click on the Rosary button to recite the full Rosary in either English or Latin and we encourage you to do as Our Lady asked at Fatima: "Pray the Rosary daily." See DEVOTION OF THE HOLY ROSARY

In addition, we provide a special page to educate those on the 15 Promises to those who recite Mary's Holy Rosary. See PROMISES OF THE ROSARY

The following 15 promises (the same number of Mysteries) were given by the Blessed Mother of God to Saint Dominic and Blessed Alan in the twelfth century. To every person who devoutly prays the Rosary, Our Lady promises:

  • 1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive signal graces.

  • 2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.

  • 3. The Rosary shall be powerful armor against hell. It will destroy vice, decrease sin and defeat heresies.

  • 4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish. It will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God. It will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

  • 5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.

  • 6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries, shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice. He shall not perish by an unprovided death. If he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God and become worthy of eternal life.

  • 7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.
  • 8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have, during their life and at their death, the light of God and the plentitude of His graces. At the moment of death, they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.

  • 9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.

  • 10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.

  • 11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.

  • 12. All those who propagate the holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

  • 13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.

  • 14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons and brothers of my only Son, Jesus Christ.

  • 15. Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

Act of Reparation to the Immaculate Heart

Most Holy Virgin, and our beloved Mother, we listen with grief to the complaints of thy Immaculate Heart, surrounded with thorns which ungrateful men place therein at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude. Moved by the ardent desire of loving thee as our Mother and of promoting true devotion to thy Immaculate Heart, we prostrate ourselves at thy feet to prove the sorrow we feel for the grief that men cause thee and to atone by means of our prayers and sacrifices for the offenses with which men return thy tender love. Obtain for them and for us the pardon of so many sins. A word from thee will obtain grace and forgiveness for us all. Hasten O Lady, the conversion of sinners, that they may love Jesus and cease to offend God, already so much offended, and thus avoid eternal punishment. Turn thine eyes of mercy toward us so that henceforth we may love God with all our hearts while on earth and enjoy Him forever in Heaven. Amen.

Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of Heaven and earth and tender Mother of men, in accordance with thy ardent wish made known at Fatima, I consecrate to thee myself, my brethren, my country and the whole human race. Reign over us and teach us how to make the Heart of Jesus reign and triumph in us and around us as It has reigned and triumphed in thee.

Reign over us, dearest Mother, that we may be thine in prosperity and in adversity; in joy and in sorrow; in health and in sickness; in life and in death. O most compassionate Heart of Mary, Queen of Virgins, watch over our minds and our hearts and preserve them from the deluge of impurity which thou didst lament so sorrowfully at Fatima. We want to be pure like thee. We want to atone for the many sins committed against Jesus and thee. We want to call down upon our country and the whole world the peace of God in justice and charity.

Therefore, we now promise to imitate thy virtues by the practice of a Christian life without regard to human respect. We resolve to receive Holy Communion on the First Saturday of every month and to offer thee five decades of the Rosary each day together with our sacrifices in a spirit of reparation and penance. Amen.

Complete Prayer to Saint Michael
The following is the longer version of the vital prayer composed by Pope Leo XIII in 1888 after his startling vision as to the future of the Church. This prayer was dedicated for the Feast of St. Michael 1448 years from the date of the election of the first Leo - Pope Saint Leo the Great. Everyone is familiar with the first prayer below which was mandated by His Holiness as part of the Leonine Prayers after Low Mass. After Vatican II, in legion with the devil Giovanni Montini outlawed this necessary prayer and then one wonders how "the smoke of satan" got into the sanctuary? The conciliarists wanted to make sure the words in bold below would never see the light of day again for in it Leo foretold what would happen: The shepherd would be struck, the sheep scattered. Below are both the short and longer versions of this poignant prayer which should never be forgotten.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray, and do thou, O heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

O glorious Archangel Saint Michael, Prince of the heavenly host, be our defense in the terrible warfare which we carry on against principalities and powers, against the rulers of this world of darkness, spirits of evil. Come to the aid of man, whom God created immortal, made in His own image and likeness, and redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of the devil. Fight this day the battle of our Lord, together with the holy angels, as already thou hast fought the leader of the proud angels, Lucifer, and his apostate host, who were powerless to resist thee, nor was there place for them any longer in Heaven. That cruel, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil or Satan who seduces the whole world, was cast into the abyss with his angels. Behold this primeval enemy and slayer of men has taken courage. Transformed into an angel of light, he wanders about with all the multitude of wicked spirits, invading the earth in order to blot out the Name of God and of His Christ, to seize upon, slay, and cast into eternal perdition, souls destined for the crown of eternal glory. That wicked dragon pours out. as a most impure flood, the venom of his malice on men of depraved mind and corrupt heart, the spirit of lying, of impiety, of blasphemy, and the pestilent breath of impurity, and of every vice and iniquity. These most crafty enemies have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church, the spouse of the Immaculate Lamb, and have laid impious hands on Her most sacred possessions. In the Holy Place itself, where has been set up the See of the most holy Peter and the Chair of Truth for the light of the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety with the iniquitous design that when the Pastor has been struck the sheep may be scattered. Arise then, O invincible Prince, bring help against the attacks of the lost spirits to the people of God, and give them the victory. They venerate thee as their protector and patron; in thee holy Church glories as her defense against the malicious powers of hell; to thee has God entrusted the souls of men to be established in heavenly beatitude. Oh, pray to the God of peace that He may put Satan under our feet, so far conquered that he may no longer be able to hold men in captivity and harm the Church. Offer our prayers in the sight of the Most High, so that they may quickly conciliate the mercies of the Lord; and beating down the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, do thou again make him captive in the abyss, that he may no longer seduce the nations. Amen.

V: Behold the Cross of the Lord; be scattered ye hostile powers.
R: The Lion of the Tribe of Juda has conquered the root of David.
V: Let Thy mercies be upon us, O Lord.
R: As we have hoped in Thee.
V: O Lord hear my prayer.
R: And let my cry come unto Thee.
V: Let us pray. O God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we call upon Thy holy Name, and as suppliants, we implore Thy clemency, that by the intercession of Mary, ever Virgin, immaculate and our Mother, and of the glorious Archangel Saint Michael, Thou wouldst deign to help us against Satan and all other unclean spirits, who wander about the world for the injury of the human race and the ruin of our souls. Amen.
O great Saint Philomena, glorious Virgin and Martyr, wonder-worker of our age, I return most fervent thanks to God for the miraculous gifts bestowed on thee, and beseech thee to impart to me a share in the graces and blessings of which thou hast been the channel to so many souls. Through the heroic fortitude with which thou didst confront the fury of tyrants and brave the frowns of the mighty rather than swerve from thy allegiance to the King of Heaven, obtain for me purity of body and soul, purity of heart and desire, purity of thought and affection. Through thy patience under multiplied sufferings, obtain for me a submissive acceptance of all the afflictions it may please God to send me and as thou didst miraculously escape unhurt from the waters of the Tiber, into which thou wert cast by order of thy persecutor, so may I pass through the waters of tribulation without detriment to my soul. In addition to these favors, obtain for me, O faithful spouse of Jesus, the particular intention I earnestly recommend to thee at this moment.

Here mention your specific petition

O pure Virgin and holy Martyr, deign to cast a look of pity from Heaven on thy devoted servant, comfort me in affliction, assist me in danger, above all come to my aid in the hour of death. Watch over the interests of the Church of God, pray for its exaltation and prosperity, the extension of the faith, for the Sovereign Pontiff when he is truly such, for the clergy, for the perseverance of the just, the conversion of sinners, and the relief of the Souls in Purgatory, especially those dear to me, and those most forgotten. O great Saint, whose triumph we celebrate on earth, intercede for me, that I may one day behold the crown of glory bestowed on thee in Heaven, and eternally bless Him who so liberally rewards for all eternity the sufferings endured for His love during this short life. Amen.

Novena in preparation for the
Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Majestic Queen of Heaven and Mistress of the Angels, thou hast received from God the power and command to crush the head of satan. Therefore, we humbly beg of thee, send forth the legions of Heaven, that under thy command they may seek out all evil spirits, engage them everywhere in battle, curb their pride, and hurl them back into the pit of hell. Quis ut Deus? “Who is like unto God?” With firm confidence we present ourselves before thee, our most loving Mother, afflicted and troubled as we are, and we beg thee to let us understand the love you have for us by granting this petition, if it is according to the Will of God and profitable for our salvation:

(mention your request)
Good and tender Mother, thou shalt ever be our hope and the object of our love. Mother of God, send forth the Holy Angels to defend us and drive far from us the cruel foe. Holy Angels and Archangels, defend and keep us.

Mary, Queen Assumed into Heaven, I rejoice that after years of heroic martyrdom on earth, thou hast at last been taken to the throne prepared for thee in Heaven by the Holy Trinity. Lift my heart with thee in the glory of thy Assumption above the dreadful touch of sin and impurity. Teach me how small earth becomes when viewed from Heaven. Make me realize that death is the triumphant gate through which I shall pass to thy Divine Son, and that someday my body shall rejoin my soul in the unending bliss of Heaven. From this earth, over which I tread as a pilgrim, I look to thee for help. I ask for this favor:

(Mention your request again)
When my hour of death has come, lead me safely to the presence of Jesus to enjoy the vision of my God for all eternity together with thee.

Acts of Consecration and Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Act of Consecration of the Human Race to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Most sweet Jesus, Redeemer of the human race, look down upon us humbly prostrate before Thy altar. We are Thine, and Thine we wish to be; but, to be more surely united with Thee, behold each one of us freely consecrates himself today to Thy Most Sacred Heart. Many indeed have never known Thee; many too, despising Thy precepts, have rejected Thee. Have mercy on them all, most merciful Jesus, and draw them to Thy Sacred Heart.

Be Thou King, O Lord, not only of the faithful who have never forsaken Thee, but also of the prodigal children who have abandoned Thee; grant that they may quickly return to their Father's house lest they die of wretchedness and hunger.

Be Thou King of those who are deceived by erroneous opinions, or whom discord keeps aloof; call them back to the harbor of truth and unity of faith, so that soon there may be but one flock and one Shepherd.

Be Thou King of all those who are still involved in the darkness of idolatry or of Islamism; refuse not to draw them all into the light and kingdom of God. Turn Thine eyes of mercy toward the children of that race, once Thy chosen people: of old they called down upon themselves the Blood of the Savior; may it now descend upon them a laver of redemption and of life.

Grant, O Lord, to Thy Church assurance of freedom and immunity from harm; give peace and order to all nations, and make the earth resound from pole to pole with one cry: Praise to the Divine Heart that wrought our salvation; to It be glory and Honor forever. Amen.

Saint Andrew Daily Missal, p. 1906, Indulgence of 300 days each time it is said. On the feast of Christ the King and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, when solemnly read with the Litany of the Sacred Heart before the Blessed Sacrament exposed one can gain 7 years indulgence and 7 quarantines, and a plenary indulgence supposing Confession and Holy Communion. The Act of Reparation below carries the same indulgence but only on the Feast of the Sacred Heart. This is the official text first composed by Father Ladislaus, SS.CC., and approved by His Holiness Pope Saint Pius X at the request of the Procurator General of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts by Rescript of May 19, 1908. It was made obligatory to gain the indulgences of an Enthronement by a decision of the Sacred Penitentiary on March 1, 1918. [A.A.8. April 1, 1918, II. 154.]

Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

O sweet Jesus, Whose overflowing charity for men is requited by so much forgetfulness, negligence and contempt, behold us prostrate before Thy altar eager to repair by a special act of homage the cruel indifference and injuries, to which Thy loving Heart is everywhere subject.

Mindful alas! that we ourselves have had a share in such great indignities, which we now deplore from the depths of our hearts, we humbly ask Thy pardon and declare our readiness to atone by voluntary expiation not only for our own personal offenses, but also for the sins of those, who, straying far from the path of salvation, refuse in their obstinate infidelity to follow Thee, their Shepherd and Leader, or, renouncing the vows of their baptism, have cast off the sweet yoke of Thy Law.

We are now resolved to expiate each and every deplorable outrage committed against Thee; we are determined to make amends for the manifold offenses against Christian modesty in unbecoming dress and behavior, for all the foul seductions laid to ensnare the feet of the innocent, for the frequent violations of Sundays and holidays, and the shocking blasphemies uttered against Thee and Thy Saints.

We wish also to make amends for the insults to which Thy priests are subjected, for the profanation, by conscious neglect or terrible acts of sacrilege, of the very Sacrament of Thy Divine Love; and lastly for the public crimes of nations who resist the rights and teaching authority of the Church which Thou hast founded.

Would, O divine Jesus, we were able to wash away such abominations with our blood. We now offer, in reparation for these violations of Thy divine honor, the satisfaction Thou didst once make to Thy eternal Father on the cross and which Thou dost continue to renews daily on our altars; we offer it in union with the acts of atonement of Thy Virgin Mother and all the Saints and of the pious faithful on earth; and we sincerely promise to make recompense, as far as we can with the help of Thy grace, for all neglect of Thy great love and for the sins we and others have committed in the past. Henceforth we will live a life of unwavering faith, of purity of conduct, of perfect observance of the precepts of the gospel and especially that of charity. We promise to the best of our power to prevent other from offending Thee and to bring as many as possible to follow Thee.

O loving Jesus, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our model in reparation, deign to receive the voluntary offering we make of this act of expiation; and by the crowning gift of perseverance keep us faithful unto death in our duty and the allegiance we owe to Thee, so that we may one day come to that happy home, where Thou with the Father and the Holy Ghost livest and reignest God, world without end. Amen.

for the Feast
of
CORPUS CHRISTI

From Pentecost Tuesday through the day before Corpus Christi Thursday
I thank Thee, Jesus, my Divine Redeemer, for coming upon this earth for our salvation, and for instituting the august Sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist in order to remain with us until the end of the world.

I thank Thee for hiding beneath the Eucharistic species Thy infinite majesty and beauty, which Thy Angels delight to behold, so that I might have courage to approach the throne of Thy Mercy.

I thank Thee, most loving Jesus, for having made Thyself my food, and for uniting me to Thyself with so much love in this wonderful Sacrament that I may live in Thee.

I thank Thee, my Jesus, for giving Thyself to me in this Most Blessed Sacrament, and so enriching it with the treasures of Thy love that Thou hast no greater gift to give me.

I thank Thee not only for becoming my food but also for offering Thyself as a continual sacrifice to Thy Eternal Father for my salvation.

I thank Thee, Divine Priest, for offering Thyself as a Sacrifice daily upon our altars in adoration and homage to the Most Blessed Trinity, and for making amends for our poor and miserable adorations.

I thank Thee for renewing in this daily Sacrifice the actual propitiatory Sacrifice of the Cross offered on Calvary, in which Thou satisfiest Divine justice for us poor sinners.

I thank Thee, dear Jesus, for having become the priceless Victim to merit for me the fullness of Heavenly favors. Awaken in me such confidence in Thee that their fullness may descend ever more fruitfully upon my soul and let me always be worthy of Thee.

I thank Thee for offering Thyself in thanksgiving to God for all His benefits, spiritual and temporal, which He hath bestowed upon me. In union with Thine offering of Thyself to Thy Father in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, I ask for this special favor:

    (Mention your petition here)

If it be Thy holy Will, grant my request. Through Thee I also hope to receive the grace of perseverance in Thy love and faithful service, a holy death, and a happy eternity with Thee in Heaven. Amen.

O Lord, Thou hast given us this Sacred Banquet, in which Christ is received, the memory of His Passion is renewed, the mind is filled with grace, and a pledge of future glory is given to us who are worthy of Thee. Thou hast given them bread from Heaven. Having all sweetness within.

    Let us pray.

God our Father, for Thy glory and our salvation Thou appointed Jesus Christ eternal High Priest. May the souls He gained for Thee by His Blood come to share in the power of His Cross and Resurrection by celebrating His Memorial in this Most Blessed Sacrament, for He liveth and reigneth with Thee and the Holy Ghost, one God, forever. Amen.

O Jesus, since Thou hast left us a remembrance of Thy Passion beneath the veils of this Sacrament, grant us, we pray, so to venerate the sacred mysteries of Thy Body and Blood that we may always enjoy the fruits of Thy Redemption through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph
This Prayer to the Patron of the Universal Church was prescribed by His Holiness Pope Leo XIII to be recited after the daily Rosary during October, month of the Holy Rosary. Click here to print out the prayer.

To thee, O blessed Joseph, we have recourse in our affliction, and having implored the help of thy thrice holy Spouse, we now, with hearts filled with confidence, earnestly beg thee also to take us under thy protection. By that charity wherewith thou wert united to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God, and by that fatherly love with which thou didst cherish the Child Jesus, we beseech thee and we humbly pray that thou wilt look down with gracious eye upon that inheritance which Jesus Christ purchased by His blood, and wilt succor us in our need by thy power and strength.

Defend, O most watchful guardian of the Holy Family, the chosen off-spring of Jesus Christ. Keep from us, O most loving Father, all blight of error and corruption. Aid us from on high, most valiant defender, in this conflict with the powers of darkness. And even as of old thou didst rescue the Child Jesus from the peril of His life, so no defend God's Holy Church from the snares of the enemy and from all adversity. Shield us ever under thy patronage, that, following thine example and strengthened by thy help, we may live a holy life, die a happy death, and attain to everlasting bliss in Heaven. Amen.

Special Nine-Day Novena of Intercession to Restore Christ's Church to it's rightful hierarchical heritage

Thanks to Dr. Marian Therese Horvat and Tradition in Action, readers pray this special Novena which honors Mary under the title of Our Lady of Good Success as imparted to the early 1600 visionary Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres, a Spanish Conceptionist nun whose mission was Quito, Ecuador where she received prophecies for these time in which the Blessed Mother warned of the dire crisis the Church is undergoing today. Prayer and penance are the only answer, and, as we prepare for the time of Septuagesima less than a week after the historical feast of Our Lady of Good Success on the same day as the Presentation and Purification of Mary, we need to heed what the answer truly is in these dire times. Enough talk, enough supposition, it's time to place it in Heaven's hands. On your knees, folks, we've got some praying to do. For more information on the origins and necessity of this Novena, we urge you to see Our Lady of Good Success.

Prayer to St. Jude

Most holy apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of. Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone. Make use I implore you, of that particular privilege given to you, to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly (here make your request) and that I may praise God with you and all the elect forever. I promise, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Litany of the Most Precious Blood

First Saturday Devotion
One of the greatest things we can do for the Sacred Heart of Jesus, especially in this Month of the Most Sacred Heart, is to honor His Blessed Mother and to act upon her strong request at Fatima to make reparation for the blasphemies against her name and image with the Five First Saturdays consisting of Confession, Holy Mass and Holy Communion, Recitation of the Holy Rosary, and spending at least 15 minutes - preferably before the Blessed Sacrament - to keep Our Lady company and to soothe her Immaculate Heart by pledging the intention of making reparation to the Blessed Mother for the offenses against Her. She promised to Sr. Lucia that whoever observes the Five First Saturday Devotions will receive the graces needed at the hour of death.

The month of July was dedicated to the Most Precious Blood of Jesus and is the same month where we prepared for the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel with the Nine Day Novena here:

  • O Most Holy Mother of Mount Carmel, when asked by a saint to grant privileges to the family of Carmel, you gave assurance of your Motherly love and help to those faithful to you and to your Son. Behold us, your children. We glory in wearing your holy ha bit, which makes us members of your family of Carmel, through which we shall have your powerful protection in life, at death and even after death. Look down with love, O Gate of Heaven, on all those now in their last agony! Look down graciously, O Virgin, Flower of Carmel, on all those in need of help! Look down mercifully, O Mother of our Savior, on all those who do not know that they are numbered among your children. Look down tenderly, O Queen of All Saints, on the poor souls!

July is a month when the world grows even darker, governments and hierarchs grow more sinister in their bargain with the devil to eradicate God and His true Church. We turn then to the Son of God and implore Jesus to wash us in His Most Precious Blood and have mercy on us, to save us in this time of great confusion and peril, the time of the Great Apostasy, where so many have foresaken God and the true Faith. Therefore it is left to Christ's few left among the remnant, those few He will find who still have the true Faith He instituted and who practice it according to the infallible, perennial Magisterium of His Church, not conceding even one iota of compromise to the counterfeit church of conciliarism or to the demonic government that has usurped man's rights before God. It is all because of our sins that Christ died and it is because of our sins that we are receiving just punishment for abandoning Him and His Commandments. It is truly a time of Tenebrae when the darkness grows even darker. Thus it is left to us to encourage others to take up with us the heavenly weapon that, outside of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, is the most powerful tool we have to combat all the demonic activities in ecclesiastical and secular circles that threaten souls. The very fact so many are lukewarm and that the Lord will vomit them out of His mouth as documented in Apocalypse 3: 16, should prompt us all to pray all the more and call upon Heaven for mercy. We must understand that the innocent will suffer along with the guilty, but the innocent who truly follow all that Christ established and are faithful to the end, even if it leads to martyrdom as it did in early Rome, England and France and so many other spots throughout the world throughout history, will be rewarded with a heavenly crown as Christ has promised and as Saint Paul affirms in his epistles.

Our Guardian Angels, they're there to help us in everything we do. That includes when you can't physically get to Holy Mass, such as for those who cannot attend Holy Mass on a daily basis, or even on Sundays because quite possibly a Traditional Latin Mass is not near. You can always send your Angel to the Holy Sacrifice on your behalf in order to join the untold choirs of Angels adoring Christ come down upon the altar.
