    •    On behalf of our contributing writers, we want to extend to all our readers throughout the world, now over 150 countries, the warmest heartfelt prayers and God's love for a blessed Christmastide and a grace-filled New Year that will be most fruitful in His vineyard in waking the echoes of the lukewarm. May we all gain our fuel from the unchangeable, perfect prayer offered daily on traditional Catholic altars - the most beautiful thing this side of Heaven, the Propitiatory Sacrifice of the Traditional Latin Mass.

To one and all, a Mary Christ's Mass for that is the etimology of the word, derived from the Old English Cristes Maesse, which means the "Mass of Christ." The feast itself, though established as December 25 in the very First Century, was not made official for the universal Church until proclaimed by Pope St. Damasus I late in the Fifth Century. His decree was a definitive statement against the Arian Heresy, which denied Christ's divinity. It was also proclaimed in order to offset the influence of the Greeks who celebrated the Epiphany as Christmas. It is from December 25 on that we truly celebrate the Nativity of the Son of God through the Epiphany as the "Twelve Days of Christmas" as established by the Council of Tours in 567. Thus for nearly 1500 years this most solemn Catholic feast is a celebration observed by the world.

No wonder satan's agents are so intent to wipe out the symbols of the Birth of the Messias. The standard symbols are Catholic in origin from the Christmas Crib to the Christmas Tree and St. Nick (St. Nicholas) himself, who today is called Santa Claus for secular purposes. The Christmas Creche is a tradition originating with Saint Francis of Assisi, and the Christmas tree, an evergreen to symbolize Christ's ever presence, dates from the middle ages. As the secular world tears down Christmas decorations the day after, Traditional Catholics don't put up their decorations until Christmas Eve and leave them up throughout Christmastide. But the greatest decoration we can display is a soul full of sanctifying grace. This is accomplished only through the divinely-ordained sacraments Christ established once and for all for many - pro multis. True Peace on earth can only be attained when the world realizes the significance and meaning of the Birth of Christ our Lord, our Sovereign King and submits to Him freely as Ruler of all in body, mind and soul.

We have once again provided for our readers a special animated Christmas Card which you can access by clicking on the graphic to the right. We will initiate a special New Year's edition on January 1 that will carry through January 8 and hopefully return to daily publishing on the feast of the Holy Family. We say that for how frequently we publish in 2011 is directly contingent on your generosity in helping us reach more souls more often. That is why we implore you to contribute what you can below. May you have a blessed and grace-filled Christmastide. Adoremus Christum Regem.

Most recent pertinent articles from Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey at Christ or chaos:
  • Honesty and Truth Though it may seem hard to believe, there are some who exagerate the damage Ratzinger and his cohorts in sin are doing but it begs the question, why? Benedict XVI and his potentates have exhibited enough evil that it doesn't have to be caricaturized. It stands on its own as stinging evidence of the fulfillment of Our Lady's prophecy at La Salette: "Rome will lose the Faith, and become the seat of the Antichrist." Rome is the new Babylon as St. Peter called it and as the Apocalypse terms it in the last days. Yes, we are reaching those times for Modern Rome has abandoned Eternal Rome and gives credence to every religion just as the ancient Romans did to compromise and conquer. Sadly, the only thing Modern Rome is conquering are more souls for satan. Sad but true and that is nothing to make fun of. 12-22

  • Still Preparing the Way for Antichrist The world today is a mess, but you knew that. Did you know that the reason for the reigning chaos can be traced to the very fact that the moral beacon that had always been the Catholic Church has been aiming in a different direction than God wills; rather they are taking their marching orders from satan, which is evident by the words and actions of Ratzinger and his cronies and his predecessors as well over the past 50 years. A Catholic from the 50's wouldn't recognize the world, and you know he wouldn't recognize his beloved Church. Yes, God will have His day and we had better be prepared as St. John the Baptist alerts us in Gospel for the Fourth Sunday of Advent. 12-20

  • Benedict in Wonderland With apologies to Lewis G. Carroll, he missed the boat on his characterization of the Mad Hatter for had he lived today he would have had an ideal candidate in one Joseph Ratzinger, alias Benedict XVI. Whether he's leering at topless male acrobats as he did a few days ago in a shameless exhibit in the Vatican or proclaiming another false religion as perfectly fine while failing to suborn even one conciliar potentate for their complicity in the perversion and scandals that have ravaged the counterfeit church of conciliarism, he is truly mad. Only insanity could absolve him before God because before man he is an out and out radical heretic even if everyone else pretends they can't see the cheshire cat. Meow! 12-17

  • Practical Atheism as the Lowest Common Denominator Oh, how far we have fallen as a country, illustrating the collective in a man who calls himself the President and espouses collective salvation. It is merely a microcosm of the heresy of Americanism where any religion must take second place to the American way of life. The fact that there is no salvation outside the Church (which would be the true Church founded by Jesus Christ with the mandate to imitate Him in all things, and, by the way, bears no resemblance to the conciliar church of Vatican II) has been buried in the dustbins of political correctness where men today don't even say "Lord, Lord" but refer to Him as the generic Creator to appease Jew, Muslim and every Protestant sect under the sun. We had better wake up and realize there is only one faith and it trumps any loyalty to country or anything else, that is if we want to enjoy eternal life. If not, go right ahead praising anyone you wish. 12-16

  • More Catholic Blood Flows from the "Religion of Peace" So much for liberating Iraq! More Chaldean Catholics have been slaughtered since the U.S. entered than anytime since the crusades. No, you can't blame U.S. troops, only U.S. policy and the fact that Muslims have no desire for living in peace and harmony with Christian or Jew. The leaders of the world realize this and they also realize the devastation of the massacre at Our Lady of Salvation in Baghdad this fall. But political correctness fear of offending the infidels, spurs them to silence as we have seen from Benedict XVI and John Paul II before him to both Bushes and Obama today. Oh, they may have tried to give the impression of outrage, but there really is no outrage. It's all a sham as more Christians senselessly die in a "war" that was never a "just war" while genocide, abortion, contraception and sodomy are promoted liberally. If anyone protests, there's nothing to see here as they shoo you away or create a diversion to cover-up. Oh, they have mastered the game; so much so that Chaldeans long for the days of Saddam Hussein. Is that progress? Not in God's eyes! 12-15

Evidence of the "operation of error" that is the counterfeit church of conciliarism from other sites:

  • We Should Attack and Discredit the Agent of Error In 1960 the Spanish priest Fr. Felix Sarada y Salvani tried to alert all that the liberals would try to turn the tables and accuse true Catholics of hate whenever they were attacked. That trend of diversion continues today and it's time it's stopped. Why? Because as the Fathers and Doctors of the Church, as well as many Saints and true Popes, such as Paul IV, St. Pius V, Leo XIII, St. Pius X to name a few, emphasized: we must attack the person spouting heresy in order to defuse the weapon he uses. It's warfare and we have to strike at the heart of the enemy with forceful words to discredit them, but always with the sword of truth. Therefore, Fr. Salvani's words should reassure and justify traditional publications, sites and writers who have been accused of being mean-spirited when they attack the heresies of the conciliar popes and potentates who have been firing slings and arrows expecting traditional Catholics to be more "charitable" while they wreak havoc on souls with their Hegelian, Modernist bafflegab and gobbledygook that has so confused countless souls. from Tradition in Action 11-20

On the Feast of St. Bridget of Sweden, October 8, we first introduced a new feature in bringing you each day a chapter a day for meditation on the wondrous, Church-approved and encouraged, plethora of prophesies revealed to St. Bridget in the fourteenth century which, as you reflect on Our Lord's words to her, you will realize they hold even truer in our very time today.

We have completed Book One of the Revelations and Prophesies Imparted to St. Bridget of Sweden and invite you to review what you may have missed before we reconvene in January in bringing you chapters from Book Two. These are tremendously inspirational and will increase your spiritual life and resolve to fulfill the divine Will as you'll see in

    The Fatima Prayers
My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

O Most Holy Trinity, I addore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!

O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.

  • So many have misinterpreted the Twelve Days of Christmas with a secular meaning, but they fail to realize that, in fact, they were a "secret catechism code" sung by persecuted Roman Catholics from the Protestant Reformation through the French Revolution. It was their way of communicating their faith much in the same manner the early Christians did with symbols such as the fish. The first day is a given since Christmas Day is the first day of Christmas and the "Partridge in a pear tree" represents Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the King Whose Social Kingship for all nations every faithful Catholic must strive for. For the Three Holy Sacrifices of the Mass on this most solemn of solemnities, see Solemnity of the Nativity of Our Lord

Also special inspiration for Christmas by Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey

The two turtledoves represent the Old and New Testaments - the Word of God which over the years has been so watered down by "interpretations and political correctness" that often it loses its true meaning and must be properly discerned through the Church's reliance on the Holy Ghost. Contrary to so much syncretistic novelties and concessions to the Jews, while the Old Covenant is treasured by Holy Mother Church for its roots, the New Covenant established by Christ takes priority and reinforces the meaning and fulfillment of the Old Testament and there have been countless saints who were martyred for standing by the New Testament in fulfillment of God's holy Will with St. Stephen being the first. For today's Holy Mass honoring the First Martyr of the Church, see Feast of St. Stephen the ProtoMartyr

The three French hens represent the Three theological Virtues of FAITH, HOPE and CHARITY which enabled Catholics to stay in the state of grace by practicing and promulgating these vital virtues when the sacraments were not readily available. So also today when, because of the plethora of aberrations in the Novus Ordo rite and the novelties and modernist novelties that exist everywhere, the sacraments are not readily available either and so Traditional Catholics must reinforce in their thoughts, words and deeds these theological virtues. In the face of the warped logic of conciliar catholics and their empty resolutions all void of defense by the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church, it takes great fortitude, patience and, yes, charity. Faith and Hope spur Traditional Catholics on just as Traditional Catholics were encouraged in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. For this Sunday Feast of the holy Evangelist and Apostle St. John, see Double of the Second Class Feast of St. John the Evangelist

The four calling birds represent the four Gospels where truly the Word of God through Jesus and His life for all of us to emulate was recorded. Since Catholics were not allowed to keep bibles or preach during those times, they reinforced others through the song to read the Gospels in private and live it, and not to subscribe to the altered version known as the King James Bible, but to remain true to the Latin Vulgate translated by the great Doctor of the Church Saint Jerome. Those who were caught were often persecuted and executed, much like those Holy Innocents slaughtered by Herod, those little ones who we honor today at Holy Mass. Thus, for the final time in the calendar year, we break out the purple vestments for the Feast of the Holy Innocents
    • Wholly Innocent Inspiration for the Feast of the Holy Innocents by Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey

The five golden rings represent both the first Five Books of the Old Testament or the Pentatuch which reminded fellow Catholics of the roots and, after the devotion became more widespread and known, the Five Decades of the Rosary and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Rosary was given to St. Dominic to fight heresy and few were as brave as St. Thomas a Becket in standing up to his King because he believed in a greater King to whom Thomas' earthly king had to be subjective to and rule in accordance with God's holy Will or face the consequences. The temporal consequences for Thomas were tragic, but his eternal consequences have been heavenly. We should study his life for we too may confront just such choices eventually in our own lives and the question is: Will we choose the same path Thomas did? For the Holy Mass honoring this holy Bishop and Martyr today, see Feast of St. Thomas a Becket

The six geese a-laying represent the six days God took to create the earth, the universe, and all creatures. It was a way for all Catholics to remind fellow faithful and be reminded that, despite persecution, they were not second-class citizens but rather first-class children of God and rightful heirs to His mansions in the Heavenly regions if they persevered in the One, True Faith. It encouraged all Catholics, in the face of great apostasy, to believe and adhere the first dogma of the Church, "Extra Ecclesia Salus Nullum" - "Outside the Church, there is no salvation." Thus the sixth day represents the sixth day octave of Christmas and Creation. For this feast, see Within the Octave of the Nativity

The seven swans a-swimming represent the Seven Sacraments established by Jesus Christ as well as the Seven Gifts of the Holy Ghost. With the Sacraments and Gifts Catholics could sustain themselves through the dark times and encourage others at this holy time of the year with this Christmas song, reminding each other of the wondrous glory of God and His munificence on the seventh day of the octave of Christmas. Just as this falls on the last day of the year, so also with the Seven Sacraments the old covenant was ended and replaced by the New Covenant which Our Lord left to His Church and for all generations with the promise of the protection of the Sanctifier, the Holy Ghost, especially through the true Successors of St. Peter such as today's saint. For today's Holy Mass where we honor a holy Roman Pontiff, see Feast of Pope St. Sylvester I
