As we enter the Season of Advent in the Church's liturgical year, everywhere else the purpose of this season is lost on the masses who are constantly reminded of things that make men merry and greedier, but not happy. What the vast majority have failed to focus on are the four last reminders for salvation of their soul. Cyndi Cain tries to put this season of giving in proper perspective. While many attribute St. Nicholas as the saint of gifts, she illustrates how St. Laurence Justinian was known for his generosity. Many questioned his sanity in giving away so much, but he knew God would provide for any of his needs. Too often our wants get in the way of our needs. What we really need is to remember the Four Last Things: Death, Judgment, Heaven and Hell. By keeping these crucial realities always in mind, we, too, will be able to then begin to emulate the holy Patriarch of Venice in our generosity and holiness. Our worries will fall away for we have trust in the Lord that He will provide for our needs in all things pleasing to Him. Cyndi shares in her essay,Being constantly aware of the Four Last Things can ease the burden To the Modernists Idols are never idle For the First Sunday of Advent we bring you Father Louis Campbell's sermon from two years ago, in which he clearly shows how man-made religions have forsaken what God commanded and what Christ established with His only One, True Church. Father points out the meaning of Advent and the why of it - in perfect union and preparation for the coming of the Messiah Who would establish the New Covenant. Today, just as in the time of Moses, men have decided they know better and have carved idols, worshipping what they wanted, not what God demanded. From the First Commandment alone we can see how the conciliarists have gravely violated this precept by adding to the graven image of the golden calf for they have not only acknowledged false religions, but encouraged them as well. Father documents this travesty. He also shows the clear, concise words of the holy Pope St. Pius X in his masterful encyclical Pascendi Domenici gregis that warned of how one could tell if one is a modernist or not. Sadly, we can see today His Holiness' very omens being carried out to extremes for idols are being carved out of every ambiguity and relativism postured by the church of Vatican II (the counterfeit church of conciliarism) where they find justification for good being evil and vice being considered virtuous by those very offenders of God's Laws. Father explains in his sermon "You shall not carve idols" Traditional Catholicism's Answer to Charles Kuralt's "On The Road" You've no doubt heard the song, "I've been everywhere, man, I've been everywhere." Well that man could very well be Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey, Traditional Catholicism's answer to the late Charles Kuralt. If you think you've got it rough, take a gander at what he and his family have encountered over this past year. In the much anticipated follow-up installments to his now famous "It's Still Better This Than Purgatory (or Worse)", he treats the reader with episodes five and six. It provides food for thought such as the next time traffic gets harrowing or you get a flat tire, it's really nothing when you think of it if you offer all to the Most Sacred and Immaculate Hearts in reparation for one's own sins and those of others. Few encounter sagas like Tom illustrates unless the devil is furious with them and then you can expect the kind of obstacles Tom and his family experience almost daily. It's all part of the 'being Catholic' scenario in which most of us fail miserably. We can take lessons from the mishaps and modern-day 'Perils of Pauline' the Droleskeys face on a regular basis and how they handle it. Few are better at making lemonade when life gives lemons than the master mixer as he so eloquently narrates his journeys this year in illustrating the Catholic conscience every one of us should adopt if we are truly serious about living our Faith. Tom elaborates in It's Still Better This Than Purgatory (or Worse), Part 5 and It's Still Better This Than Purgatory (or Worse), Part 6 Two Bishops who nourished the faith as Doctors of the Church in Italy are celebrated this week.
The counterfeit church of conciLIARism merely lays out the red carpet for the Antichrist in continuing to ignore the sensus Catholicus by dialoguing and compromising with the enemies of Christ. In the Gospel of Matthew for the final Sunday after Pentecost, our Lord clearly tells us of these times. Why are so many blinded to these signs? Harking back two years ago, we bring you Father Louis Campbell's excellent sermon for the Last Sunday After Pentecost in which he cited the evident warnings in Sacred Scripture of the signs of the Antichrist. He documents very clearly how the counterfeit church of conciLIARism is paving the way for this with the blasphemy and insanity of those who do know better, who have so deceived even the elect. To promulgate acceptance of human respect and placate man through false ecumenism at the expense of losing all scope of the supernatural and respect for all Holy Mother Church has always held as key for true prayer and graces, is to betray Christ and His Mystical Bride. Yet the usurpers continue unfettered, spreading the heresy that Jews no longer need to convert for their Messiah is yet to come. Meanwhile countless Jews, Catholics and other non-Catholics are deprived of the salvific truths that Christ has promised and the Apostles have verified in Divine Revelation for no one can attain Heaven without belief in Jesus Christ the only-begotten Son of the Father and the Holy Ghost, Whom Our Lord left to guide what He established on the Rock of Peter. Jesus foretold of the very times we live in for what was prophesied in Daniel 11: 31 and in today's Gospel of Matthew 24: 15, indeed, has come out about with the abominable New Order sacrilegious Novus Ordo that has eclipsed, for the most part, the true and propitiatory Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Can the Antichrist be far behind? Father explains in his sermon Parleying with the Dark They are the devil's helpers, the shills of the counterfeit church of conciliarism. They come in all shapes and sizes. They are clever and watchful. They know the code and they know who to recruit and who to exclude. They are the very "laity" who have lain low the holy Faith. Griff Ruby provides a sobering first hand experience of just how the ecumaniacal heresies were able to spread so quickly and continue to conflagrate souls with an agenda that is best dubbed 'diabolic disorientation.' Griff illustrates how it only takes a few to wreak havoc as fifth columnists within the ranks, planting ideas that are not your ideas or ideals but theirs. It is the modus operandi of the totalitarian mindset employed so insidiously in both countries and churches. Like the slippery serpent of Genesis, the shills slither in and coil themselves around the unsuspecting ones, squeezing their prey into buying the rot they know you don't want by twisting the truths so cleverly. It is how the aberrations of Vatican II took hold with few being the wiser. It is truly a factory far worse than the sweat shops of the Far East for it affects souls and the venom injected by the shillsters, posing as partners, paralyzes parishioners into following the path to perdition. Griff explains in his article, The Novus Ordo Shill Factory
Has anyone ever realized why Mary has been seen weeping by visionaries? Could it be because they have strayed so far from her divine Son? Could it also be that she cries because so many souls are heading to perdition? On the feast of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, Cyndi Cain reaches ahead sixteen years to 1846 to share the significance of the apparition of Our Lady of LaSalette. The Blessed Mother's Church-approved message has been, for the most part, hidden and dismissed by operatives of the counterfeit church of conciliarism. Cyndi points out how, from early in the 19th Century, Heaven provided all the help necessary to stave off the Great Apostasy and still we didn't listen. From the Miraculous Medal to our Lady's copious tears to the Sun spinning it would seem man has been deaf and dumb to all Heaven has warned. Now we face exactly what our laxity has asked for: Rome has lost the faith and become the seat of the antichrist. Will we continue in the perilous path or turn back to God before it is too late? Have we not learned from the mistakes of the Jews of the Old Testament, even when we have the powerful aid of God's Own Mother to guide us? Our Lady of Perpetual Help is perpetually trying to help. The problem lies with those she's seeking to protect and warn. Cyndi shares why, at LaSalette, Our Lady Wept for a Reason Two days in the last week of November are dedicated to a miracle Heaven has wanted to bestow on those who believe and persevere. It seems the miracle will be convincing souls of the necessity of the Miraculous Medal. To commemorate two succeeding feasts during the last week of November, we present a short piece on our Lady's intent at Rue du Bac in Paris back in 1830 when she appeared to the pure soul St. Catherine Laboure 177 years ago. We say pure because God said so by preserving her body incorrupt to this day. The Blessed Mother has had a most urgent message for her children for over 177 years and still we don't take it seriously enough even when Heaven has given us the Rosary, the Scapular and, to St. Catherine, the Miraculous Medal, also called the Medal of the Immaculate Conception since engraved on the front are the same she imparted to St. Bernadette Soubirous at Lourdes in 1858: "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." It would seem, this beautiful short prayer was paramount in the nineteenth century, but it is ever more paramount today when mankind no longer believes in miracles, thinking he doesn't even need God. Oh, how far man has sunk and yet there's hope thanks to the promises to those who worthily whear the Miraculous Medal. We explain in The Message and Meaning of Rue du Bac |

Gobble! Gobble! is not the sound of a turkey crowing, but rather what has happened to truth as the revisionists, in an effort to justify the rebellion of their ancestors against the True Faith, have sought every canard to cast at the only True Church Christ established for all time. As the devil is wont to do, he provides plenty of stuffing for souls to digest, twisting wishbones in the decaying body of so many sects who remain in denial. Though she had not planned on writing anything until next Monday, Cyndi Cain, after receiving a letter from a Protestant friend enamored with Oliver Cromwell and the Pilgrims, was inspired to write a lesson on how so many have been duped into believing yet another lie from the evil one. Thus we post it here to share with your Protestant and neo-Catholic friends if they will have the fortitude to discuss it with you after dinner when familes and relatives gather around the table to partake in a sumptious banquet of traditional tastes with all the trimmings. She points out that we should take time to reflect on how we've been manipulated not only to schedule dinner around football games and early Christmas shopping, but how we've been duped into believing the reasons why we should be thankful and missing the real point, the essential reason why we should be thankful from the bottom of our hearts and souls. It has nothing to do with the early pilgrims, but rather one Pilgrim Who traversed the Holy Land nearly 2000 years ago preaching one Truth and establishing one Church to carry on all He had bestowed, including Himself in the everlasting Manna from Heaven: the Holy Eucharist in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. She explains in There is Only One Thanksgiving and it has Nothing to do with Turkey Clydesdales and Dalmatians have passed into oblivion, giving way to faster, more expensive and deadlier things in much the same manner old fashioned values of good sportsmanship and playing for the love of the game have. Today amorality has choked out the very source of survival: the young fans - the paying customers of tomorrow - whose interests have been greatly polluted by the poisonous promotions they are exposed to at the ballpark or on telecasts of the games, and let down by the very players they sought to admire: the cheat-at-all-costs mega-million dollar heroes who have forsaken their responsibility to be role models and uphold the honor of what once was America's great Pastime. No more! Thanks to Barry Bonds and a plethora of other selfish athletes, along with a clueless commissioner, MLB has whiffed big time! Few realize Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey in another life was the always proper, fun-loving, scene-stealing "Lone Ranger" at Shea Stadium for many years and chronicles this in his engaging book There is No Cure for this Condition. Few have as great a grasp on the grand old game as Tom does and he takes a break this Thanksgiving to explain why baseball has fallen so far from grace. As you read you can see the parallels of what has happened in baseball to the very same malaise that has affected both society and faith. It's no news that Barry Bonds has been taking steroids for it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the evidence. Maybe that is where the company distributing giant replicas of athletic stars got its name: Fathead. Tom digs further beneath Bond's gargantuan hat size to the real culprits: the baseball owners and their own hand-chosen insipid commissioner Bud Selig who refused to confront the situation until forced to do so. Sound familiar? It should for no conciliar bishop would have acted one iota had not the press and courts forced their hand. Just as the mad miters were perfectly happy in their comfort zone at the expense of countless souls, so also the baseball establishment was only too obliged to look the other way as the money poured in and older cathedrals of the grand old game were demolished to make way for new stadiums for one simple reason: greed! Tradition means nothing to the modernist whether they be cleric or commissioner. Tom explains in his change of pace column, This Bud's Not for You A Rose is a rose, is a rose unless it embodies the fullness of grace exhibited by the most beautiful Rose, St. Rose of Lima whom God raised up following the Council of Trent to guide us in these times. Yes, today we must look to St. Rose when the infallible tenets of Trent are so trashed by the robber baron weeds - pestilential prelates - who have become a blight upon God's garden of graces by preying on the buds of belief in squeezing dry the vital moisture of virtue, leaving a desolate desert of fruitless tangled thorns. Following her introductory lesson, Cyndi Cain begins a series of lessons in the course Sanctity 101 guided by the everlasting Dean of the University of Virtue - the Holy Ghost and His unparalleled faculty led by the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity - our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, His Most Blessed Mother, the Saints, Fathers, Doctors and inspired Roman Pontiffs. She commences with a more recent saint, in fact the first canonized saint of the New World: Saint Rose of Lima, whose legacy lives on in the virtues she practiced. Think of a particular virtue, more than likely St. Rose of Lima lived it to perfection. Humility, obedience, modesty, you name it, there aren't enough petals on a rose to count how many virtues St. Rose exhibited throughout her relatively brief thirty-one years on this temporal turf. Rose embodies the perseverance of St. Monica and the sufferings of the most willing victim soul and she personified our Lady in her fiat as obedient daughter, virtuous wife, compassionate mother and accepting widow, and willingly sent her own flesh and blood back to the Father. In the example of St. Rose we are presented with a vivid illustration of the many attributes of God. Cyndi commences with lesson one in revealing the beauty of this rose and the everlasting edification exuding a heavenly fragrance for all of us to strive to emulate. A Rose whose petals of purity forever bloom with abundant graces By trusting in The Living Flame of Love as his Spiritual Canticle throughout his life, St. John of the Cross passed through the Dark Night of the Soul into the everlasting Light. This coming Saturday we celebrate the Feast of the holy Doctor of the Church Saint John of the Cross. Born in Spain, this wise and holy man had obstacle after obstacle placed in his path throughout his life. Despite the roadblocks, from the earliest possible drowning accident he was protected - under the mantle of the Blessed Mother and Saint Joseph. He longed for perfection, desiring to please only our Lord, so much so that he accepted pain and suffering willfully, even to being demeaned and ridiculed, called an apostate and worse. Through all of this he still kept the Faith when all about him wanted to take it away. He was encouraged by a saintly pupil whom he aided greatly in reform of the Carmelites - St. Teresa of Avila. God confirmed to all his persecutors that this holy priest was right and deserved the aura of sanctity at his death, which this saint had foretold the exact year, month, day and hour. He wrote a book that boosts the confidence of so many who have those times of doubt about their Faith. He showed where faith is not about feelings, but about perseverance during those dark nights of the soul. Saint John of the Cross was the dauntless Apostle of Perseverance. Just when you think it can't get any loonier, the VulgArians go a step further in clearly identifying that by their actions and words there is no way they are Catholic! Thus we repeat our dire warning to every good Catholic: Flee, Get out of the counterfeit church of conciliarism while you can! Over the last week Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey has written several articles that do indeed show the insidious insanity of the architects who insisted and continue to spin making man in his own image. From the time of Christ up through the early 1500's man's image was mostly reflected by his obedience to God, finding favor in the garment of grace gained through the divinely ordained sacraments instituted by Christ. But with the Augustinian Monk Martin Luther manifesting Lucifer's most blatant rebellious cry: "Non serviam" a portal was given to the devil to twist and tease, to deceive and denude countless souls of grace and, ergo, salvation. That is why we have created a graphic titled "From Luther to lunacy..." for that indeed is what the world has become: an international insane asylum with nearly 34,000 sects claiming they have the truth where, in truth, our Lord established only One Church and those not on that ark cannot be saved, just as those, who were not with Noah as the floods came, perished. Despite this fact of faith, the engineers of promulgating the heresies of Modernism, Americanism, Sillonism, and Hegelianism - to name only a few of the most prevalent errors - have continued their madness. Tom's latest even deals with the blatant concession of an entire millennium in order to placate the schismatic Orthodox church, never mind their denial of dogmatic truth. To combat these compromisers we have, of course, the infrangible Deposit of Faith and the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church. There are few today who are more adept at delineating the causes and effects and exposing the guilty culprits on their own petards, indicted by holy writ, the saints, and the inspired Papal Decrees of reliable true Roman Pontiffs. Tom is also without peer in gleaning the political landscape from a purely Roman Catholic perspective. His columns are not only worthy of your putting a reading priority on, but also helping him financially is greatly encouraged since he, like St. John the Baptist, tells it like it is. No whitewashing or softsoaping the necessities of living our faith. Tom truly is one of the lone voices crying in the wilderness to make ready the path of the Lord.
Our quest is never in vain if we follow the direction God's weather vane has revealed in order for us to tap into the one True Faith that should flow through our veins. If we do, we'll have the assurance that our hearts will be peaceful and calm when we're laid to our rest.
As promised, editor Michael Cain provides a brief explanation of the travels and travails experienced over the last month or so as he equates it to the journey of a quest we are all on. He likens it to the fact that, with the True Church in eclipse - thanks to the Great Apostasy wrought by the counterfeit church of conciliarism - and infighting and petty bickering only intensifying among those loyal to the Truths and Traditions of holy Mother Church, Traditional Catholics are forever chasing windmills that many say no longer exist. Indeed for many it remains only in their memories. But memories live on in the traditions lost but never forgotten. Whether we are idealistic Don Quixotes or obedient Sancho Pansas we can never forget what our mission is and why we must be willing to fight the unbeatable foe and bear with unbearable sorrow to right the unrightable wrong and to love pure and chaste from afar, no matter how hopeless, no matter how far it will take us even if it means marching into hell for a heavenly cause. That is the Catholic crusade that needs to be clarioned in reparation and repair of all that's gone horribly wrong over the past century. Those windmills will only irrigate souls if the grace is flowing, powered by the Rosary and motivated through the gentle breeze of the Holy Ghost. He explains in his commentary God deems it possible!
With the world becoming more sinister by the day, reflected in the styles and fashions and mindsets of so many that so hideously illustrate how vice is squeezing out good, it is high time to revive the virtues, to bring back the example of saints and a return to all that is right and just.
With the above in mind, Cyndi Cain has been inspired to begin a new series in which she will take the reader on a refresher course, if you will, guided by a par excellence faculty that can be matched nowhere in the world for the teachers are our Lord, His Blessed Mother, the Saints, Doctors and Fathers of the Church. It is, in essence, the University of Virtue. There is no better month than November to debut this series and we hope you will gain in grace and understanding from the words put forth. Thus, as the humble instrument Cyndi introduces this series in piecing together the tableau laid out so perfectly by God and woven with the golden thread of the Holy Ghost's infinite tapestry, by which the Mystical Body of Christ is united. It is the magnificent divine Opus leading us to our Heavenly Home. This double thread of Charity and Suffering, which the Sanctifier employs, cannot be separated, for it embodies Christ's Own command: "If anyone loves Me, let him take up his cross daily and follow Me." It begins with piety, for all reverence is due the Lord. She explains in her introductory column Return to Piety Place
Saint Albert the Great was a product of the holy Dominican fruit planted by St. Dominic to blossom for holy Mother Church in convincing and converting souls for Christ.
Thursday is the feast of a man the Church rightfully labels Magnus: Saint Albert the Great. He was a man who the devil definitely did not want to become a priest, let alone a Dominican. He was the only saint of the Church called "Great" who was not a Sovereign Pontiff. He was part and parcel of the fruits of the century of saints in the thirteenth century and played an integral role in the 14th Ecumenical Council. Albert staunchly defended his pupil once called "the dumb ox" against all kinds of calumny and subterfuge, and always in charity. Little did he or anyone else at the time realize how smart St. Thomas Aquinas truly was. Through the guidiance of the Holy Ghost and spurred by a deep love for Christ and His Church, St. Albert continued right up to his death with teaching the Faith even though he suffered in his later years from Alzheimer's well before it was even called that. This great saint was truly Albertus Magnus: Tutor to the Angelic Doctor.
We can only hope the bad weeds will soon be uprooted and cast into the everlasting fire, but hopefully those presently looking to those poisonous plants for sustenance will discover their error before they are hopelessly afflicted with the devil's disease.
In our commitment to keep Father Louis Campbell's sermons pertinent, we present his sermon from 2005 for the Twenty-Fifth Sunday After Pentecost. In it he cites Christ's words in today's Gospel, taken from the Fifth Sunday After Epiphany, on how an enemy has stolen into the wheat fields of souls and sowed the cockle of dissent, novelty and revolution. Just as Our Lord warned, so also it has happened within His holy Church over the last century. Father documents this in showing how the bad seeds are choking out so much of the good wheat which, because of all the confusion, sways in the wind -whichever way it blows - growing weaker as the weeds smother the good seed. This very thing is illustrated in the conciliar church - the bad seed - which seeks to overpower and snuff out the good seed - the One, Holy, Apostolic and Catholic Church founded by Christ. How they have done it is so clever that no man could be totally responsible for such subterfuge. There had to be a master plan from the father of lies - the devil himself - who has been the instigator of stealing in and, with the help of so many gardeners who have already sold their souls for the temporal Masonic goals, have planted the destructive, eternal life-denying cockle. Through vigilance to the sacraments and the Holy Rosary, and by heeding the Apostle Paul's words in today's epistle, we can look forward to the harvest in being assured we will not become victims of
The Seeds of Revolution
If we do not learn from the mistakes of the children of Abraham, we're bound to repeat them. We have to ask if God will be merciful to us if we persist in our narrowmindedness.
Appropriately, on the historical feast of the Holy Relics, Griff Ruby leads off Return Week of The Daily Catholic with an interesting perspective that, no doubt, few Traditional Catholics have ever thought about. We can take many lessons from the Old Testament and God's purpose for it. Likewise we can learn from the fallout of those who rejected the promised Messias - "the Word made flesh" - in the New Covenant. Rather than antipathy toward our Jewish brothers in Christ, we should be empathetic toward our confused brethren of the Old Covenant, for the Orthodox Jew refuses to compromise; so do most Traditional Catholics. The Orthodox Jew follows the letter of the divine Law; so do most Traditional Catholics in realizing the fulfillment in our Lord's ultimate Sacrifice, re-enacted sacramentally in the propitiatory Sacrifice of the Mass; the only sacrifice pleasing to the Father. The Orthodox Jew longs for the time when they will have a Temple again; many Traditional Catholics long for the time when we will have a true Pope again. In fact, that very issue should unite Catholics, not divide. And yet, the temple of torment tears at His remnant because we fail to realize how history repeats itself and, in that, we're no different than the Jews. In fact, we can learn from them in their effort to bond as family. If we do not unite, we are destined to make the same mistakes and only weaken our ranks. The question is: Will we ever learn?
That is what Griff tweaks our consciences with in his gentle, but firm way of prodding Traditional Catholics to live our Faith to the fullest with his essay, New Rites for Old
A groundswell is building after the first week of Bella's phenomenal debut. Despite the masking of the film's content by the liberal media, the wonderful pro-life message is getting across. Isn't it Bellalicious?
Gabriel Garnica returns after a few months away with a piece on the phenomenal film Bella and why it is taking America by storm. The grass roots families are fed up with the garbage they've been forcefed and the people are responding by putting their money where their heart is by turning out in droves to see this refreshing love story that brings a powerful pro-life message to all. The weapon in this war against the pro-abortion advocates is love. Just this past week Bella has been the buzz with the possibility of Academy Awards for this critically acclaimed film that is so wonderfully anchored in the sanctity of life. Maybe that's why its viewership is gaining life as each day passes. All those Rosaries at the abortuaries are paying off for God has chosen to send a simple film to teach the majority what's right in hopefully changing hardened hearts from the grave error of abortion to holding life as precious. Heaven knows we can't depend on the moral compass of the counterfeit church of conciliarism in this war against infanticide. No, the New Order Church is out of touch in the same manner liberal wags are out of touch with the pulse of Bella and its effect on the public. Gabriel explains in his column, The Bellum that Bella wages against the Merchants of Death
Sir Walter Scott is credited with the words, but Ratzinger has cleverly crafted them into an art: "What a web we do weave, when first we practice to deceive." With every day more are being caught in his Motu flytrap.
