TODAY'S PROPER OF THE HOLY MASS:

    Today is SEXAGESIMA SUNDAY
with a commemoration of Saints Faustina and Jovita, Martyrs

    Violet vestments
    Mass is the Missa
    "Exsurge, quare obdormis"
for the Proper of the Mass in conjunction with the
    Ordinary of the Mass

Tomorrow is a Ferial Day with the Mass from the preceding Sunday, in this case:
    SEXIGESIMA SUNDAY
    Violet vestments
    Mass is the Missa
    "Exsurge, quare obdormis"

WHY ONE CANNOT IN GOOD FAITH ATTEND THE NOVUS ORDO.
    REASON #46.
Because along with the New Mass goes also a new catechism, a new morality, new prayers, new Code of Canon law, new calendar, -- in a word, a NEW CHURCH, a complete revolution from the old. "The liturgical reform ... do not be deceived, this is where the revolution begins." (Msgr. Dwyer, Archbishop of Birmingham, spokesman of Episcopal Synod)
Naturally few heard of Archbishop Dwyer. Why? For the very reason he resisted the revolution he was not promoted by the VaticantwoArians. It is a pattern that has followed for 40 years. Speak out against the non-Catholic, Protestant and pan-religious agenda of The New Order and you are shunted to the hinterlands never to be heard from again; while those who have compromised their principles and the One True Faith are promoted to the highest echelons. No wonder the current College of Cardinals more resembles a cesspool than Princes of the Church. It bodes ill will for the next successor to the Primacy. And yet, it reinforces all the more the hope and promise that no matter how badly things have sunk to, Christ will not let the gates of hell prevail. It may well take Divine intervention but we must stay the course and, as today's Gospel asserts, sow the good seed. The seeds of Modernism will soon be blown to the winds, ill winds never to be heard from again. Thank God. Cardinal Alfredo Ottaviani and Cardinal Antonio Baccion September 25, 1969, when there were still good Cardinals left, warned of this inThe Ottaviani Intervention While the Pope didn't listen for the confirmed 33rd Degree Mason Annibale Bugnini had his ear and heart, he and the church of Vatican II have indeed "incurred the wrath of God and the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul." Father James Wathen could see this so clearly over 30 years ago and warned of all this in his irrefutable masterpiece The Great Sacrilege proving the immediate devastations that had occurred in just the few years of the New Order. Imagine then nearly 33 years later! Tragic! This is the forty-sixth of 62 reasons submitted by the Priests of Campos on Easter Sunday 1982 and endorsed by the late great Bishop Antonio de Castro Mayer. Each day we will publish one of the 62 until they're all complete
Conversely in the True Holy Mass of All Ages:

GRACES RECEIVED FROM ATTENDING THE TRUE MASS.
    GRACE #46.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is also the best means of venerating the blessed Mother of God, and increasing her joy.
This is the forty-sixth of at least 77 Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur by New York's Archbishop Michael Augustin on June 24, 1818 during the Pontificate of Pope Pius VII
    TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS

  • Father Louis Campbell encourages us to continue the fight, to resist the false doctrines being promoted by the church of the New Order which eschews the infrangible tenets of the Gospel of Christ by caving to the pressures of the politically correct. It is bad seed that has been sown among the thorns. It will wither and die. But the good seed sown from Peter through Pius XII will continue to grow despite the bulldozers of bull that seeks to replant in so many souls since Vatican II Modernism, Ecumenism, Humanism and every other ism. Father assures us, just as Hilaire Belloc and Venerable Mary of Agreda do, that they will not win. He emphasizes in his sermon The Glories of the Bold
  • With ten days to go there is a barrage of misinformation intentionally intended to discredit Mel Gibson's masterpiece film. Thankfully, William Donohue - President of the Catholic League - has more spunk than any bishop as he exposes the lies. 10 Days to Go!
Pray for John Paul II that he will awake from the devastating 40-year slumber and return Holy Mother Church to its rightful place as the true Mystical Body of Christ and consecrate Russia to Mary's Immaculate Heart. Read our editorial The Judas Kiss in last Wednesday's issue.
PAPAL PROOF OF WHAT THE CHURCH TRULY TEACHES

For those who truly want to delve deeper into what the Faith teaches and what past Sovereign Pontiffs have decreed, we recommend for your vital reading to better KNOW THE FAITH in order to KEEP THE FAITH, pertinent Papal decrees which put to the lie what is being promulgated today by the Vatican II church. We strongly encourage you to read these to understand how today the modern church is in Apostasy when compared to what had always been taught by Holy Mother Church and enforced and warned as most grievous by previous Pontiffs as you'll see in CREDO & CULTURE

    Today:
    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for Sexagesima Sunday, he laments how the church of modern times has basically sold out the Faith to please man, especially in the heresies that other churches are to be recognized as 'equal' to the Catholic Church and that the Jews' wait for the Messiah was not in vain. This now is being magnified as the Vatican is faced with a decision, one they are manifestly afraid of: Stand up for what the Gospel says or stand by their compromise with the Jews and other agents of Mammon which contradicts the Scriptures. The U.S. Bishops have seemingly opted for the latter by distributing a warning about Mel Gibson's masterpiece 'The Passion of The Christ' while letting every other heresy and abuse go unnoticed. It is no coincidence that Mel chose Mary of Agreda's writings to amplify the Gospel for it was this venerable woman, so ignored by the modern saint-maker, who has foretold that Our Lady will conquer and end all heresy. It is the last hurrah, thank God! Thus, while all looks hopeless, there is great hope on the horizon, just as God has promised and the famous Hilaire Belloc encouraged. Such are The The Glories of the Bold

      Yesterday:
      HOT ISSUES
The fruits of victory are sweet and Jacob Michael issued a challenge to all Traditional Catholics to join him in a nine-day novena of Daily Rosaries for the freedom and exaltation of Holy Mother the Church beginning in Grand Rapids as a grand experiment that can blossom into many, many fruits for the secular media, amazed over what Fr. Michael McMahon and the SSPX parishioners did in prayerfully evicting the Buddhist monks from the Basilica of St. Adalbert on Tuesday night, now want to know more about the Society and Jacob has been invited to write an editorial laying out the truth: The Latin Mass has never been abrogated, Catholics can fulfill their Sunday obligation by attending a Traditional Latin Mass whether in a SSPX parish or an independent parish. Jacob is going to prove in a secular newspaper that the Diocesan bishop and the pastor are totally wrong and hopefully, prayerfully this will wake up countless Catholics that they are free to attend the Latin Mass once again. If this can be accomplished in Grand Rapids, it can mushroom around the country. The Counter-Revolution has begun! Jacob laid out the strategy in his brief plea:Finish the Race!
      Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica sounded the clarion about how the essence of Valentine's Day has been so twisted and paganized. Probably never before has this been more ironic than these times when the intent of the day - to promote the God-given gift of love between a man and a woman for the purpose of Holy Matrimony for the express objective of procreation - has become so perverted that the meaning today represents adultery, sodomy and, yes, murder. Gabriel pointed out that God is Love and His True Love is embodied in His Mystical Body - the spotless Bride of Christ encompassing the True Faith. Accept no substitutes. Sorry, Forrest Gump, but life is not a box of chocolates. No, it is living in harmony with God's laws and striving to know, love and serve God in this world so that we can be happy with Him in the next. That's basic Baltimore Catechism which maybe we should send others in lieu of flowers, cards and candy. Gabriel provided the points of The Irony of Valentine's Day

        Friday:
        Traditional Thoughts
The Rector of St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary Father Yves le Roux offered a sobering essay for all Catholics, especially parents who are struggling with balancing their values with the overpowering mores being dictated by the world. Too often, Fr. pointed out, we as Catholics succumb to the Protestant morality that it is all inevitable and we can do nothing about it. Nothing could be further from the truth and we need to shake the cobwebs of such nonsense, such heresy, and reclaim our children and civilization for Catholic morality which has been turned topsy-turvy especially over the past half a century in which so much as been Protestantized and so many souls lost in the unbloody revolution that has taken place right under our noses. He rebuked the Protestant notion that grace suppresses nature. Indeed it does not, rather it elevates it. He encouraged parents to nourish affection, true parental affection and love on their children so they will have a solid foundation when all else is crumbling around them. Father got to the core in Problems of Disaffection

        Thursday:
"Quid dicit Scriptura?" Jacob Michael followed up his inital report filed in Wednesday's issue, with a more thorough background and description on how, where, when, who, why and what happened Tuesday night in the Basilica of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Moved by the Holy Ghost, a righteous indignation against violaters of the First Commandment, and utilizing the powerful weapon known as the Holy Rosary of Mary, loyal Roman Catholics - almost 200 strong led by courageous Society of Saint Pius X priest Fr. Michael McMahon - literally blasted the Buddhist monks out of the Basilica. In fact, according to secular media reports, their protest was so violent in reciting the Ave Marias and Hail Mary's that the pastor had no recourse but to call in the local gendarmes. Egads, how do we stop such "violence" as peaceful, reverent prayer? Jacob exposed the true absurdity, the true scandal personified in the pastor Fr. Thomas DeYoung himself as he explained in his column Booting the Buddhists from the Basilica!
        A Chronicle of Catholic Tradition
In the sixth chapter of our series on the history of Holy Mother Church and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we turned to the man Our Lord Jesus Christ appointed to lead His Church - Tu es Petrus - the fisherman Simon Peter. A more unlikely candidate the majority would never pick. But in His Divine Wisdom Christ knew exactly what He was doing. As is the case with anything from God, satan will always try to muck up the works. The early days of the Church were no exception as the father of half-truths sought to disrupt and divide the followers of Christ, pitting those loyal to Peter against those loyal to Paul and vice versa. An institution of any less founding could not have survived the early bickering and division. But the institution Jesus founded was not a temporal foundation, but an eternal one - the Heavenly Jerusalem on earth: His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church built on, as we presented in part five, The Rock!

        Wednesday:
        The Sanity of Sanctity
In honor of Wednesday's feast of Our Lady of Lourdes we presented a special feature on this most famous of Marian Shrines. This is the 150th Anniversary of the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception, decreed by Pope Pius IX in 1854. Four years later Our Lady appeared to a young peasant girl of the Soubirous family and confirmed to her the infallible dogma as we detailed in Part One at The Healing Waters of Lourdes Part One and The Healing Waters of Lourdes Part Two.
        Gabriel's Clarion
In honor of the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, Gabriel Garnica related his experience at this international Marian Shrine in the Apennine Moutains in southern France. Not only the River Gave flows through this quaint village dating back to the time of the Gauls, but the fallen angel is not far away, hovering and luring the faithful from the purity of the message of Lourdes. Just as in Rome where vendors vie for the attention that should be focused on the spiritual, so also in the Village of Bernadette commerce takes a backseat to no one. This is one of the dangers Gabriel warned about in describing the three armies who gather there. If one is not girded in the armor of God at all times, their Achilles heel can be compromising to progress and the profane. Satan loves that as Gabriel explained in The Lesson of Lourdes

        Tuesday:
        Catholic PewPOINT
With all the persecution being aimed at Mel Gibson, he must feel like a marked man. Editor Michael Cain showed where that suits Mel just fine for the more he is scourged in the press, the more he is following in the footsteps of Christ Jesus, Who Mel has devoted his entire energy to in producing and directing the greatest film ever made. Cain delved into the real reasons behind the bitter barbs and why the attackers are so rabid. Could it be because they are afraid of the Truth? You got it and so does Mel as he remains as wise as a serpent and as guileless as a dove as he builds an army of supporters among a network of churches who we hope and pray will finally realize where the True Sacrifice they are witnessing on film is still played out daily in the one True Mass, the Traditional Latin Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Mel's hope and prayers, as well as countless Traditional Catholics, is that God will work miracles through this vehicle of evangelization as Cain explained in his editorial A man of his word true to the Word!

        Monday:
Shears and Tears of a Lamb
Catharine Lamb resumed her feature on the Canon of the Mass and those who are honored. Monday she featured the holy martyred saints who immediately follow the martyred Popes in the Communicantes before the Consecration. Catharine provides some background on these seven men, four of whom were holy brothers in blood who gave their very blood because they believed in the Blood of Christ. Today so many want to apologize for their actions. Yet the Church in her wisdom set in stone that these seven men who are specially venerated in Rome, would forever be remembered in the Sacred Canon of the Mass. Catharine assured in her column We will never forget!
        Books you can count on!
We are delighted to resurrect our long dormant series on BOOKS YOU CAN COUNT ON with the excellent rationale on why rural life was so prized and adhered to Catholic Social Order in the 'Catholic Land Movement.' This was a necessary counter to the urban, industrial movement that imprisoned so many in a secular, Protestant milieu of the urban life. The esteemed Dr. Peter Chojnowski provided a brief review of a book first released in 1931 which contained ten essays warning all of this erosion of the Faith and urging Catholics to embrace the 'Catholic Land Movement' in order to preserve the family unit in every manner of the sensus Catholicus. The book Flee to the Fields is considered the Catholic manifesto for this, endorsed by none other than that great cradle Catholic literary master Hilaire Belloc in the original preface of the book now made available for all again at IHS Press. In full harmony with Belloc, author of The Great Heresies were not only the Catholic hierarchy of all of Great Britain, but his noble friend G. K. Chesterton as we presented a book review on Flee to the Fields
