Thomas A. Droleskey, Ph.D.
Dr. Tom Drolesky    Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey is the Publisher-Editor of Christ or Chaos, which evolved after his formerly publishing a monthly journal of Catholic commentary designed to connect man's spiritual live in Christ with his duties as a citizen. It contains essays dealing with topical and timeless subjects, especially as they relate to the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ and the importance of restoring the Traditional Latin Mass. In the past Droleskey was a contributing editor to The Wanderer, the nation's oldest weekly national Catholic newspaper, and contributed articles from time to time in Latin Mass Magazine. He also wrote for The Remnant and Catholic Family News. He is well known and respected in Traditional Catholic circles.

Dr. Droleskey received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from St. John's University, Jamaica, New York, in January of 1973, his Master of Arts degree in political science from the University of Notre Dame in January of 1974, and his Doctor of Philosophy in political science from the State University of New York at Albany in August of 1977. He taught in numerous universities and colleges between January of 1974 and December of 2000, receiving awards for excellence in teaching. His years of service as an adjunct professor at the C. W. Post Campus of Long Island University, Brookville, New York, were recognized by the Department of Political Science in an awards ceremony in May of 1996.

Droleskey ran for office several times on the line of the New York State Right to Life Party. He was the party's candidate for Lieutenant Governor of New York in 1986 and its candidate for the Supervisor of the Town of Oyster Bay in 1997. He unsuccessfully challenged then incumbent Senator Alfonse M. D'Amato for the party's nomination for the United States Senate in 1998, although he did receive over 37% of the vote in the primary, which he waged to attempt to give to call to public attention the fact that no one is legitimately pro-life who supports even a single abortion-and that those who support with pride the Planned Parenthood agenda ought not to receive the nomination of a pro-life political party. He also stressed the importance of establishing the Social Kingship of Christ as the sine qua non in the restoration of a respect for all innocent human life from the moment of fertilization through all subsequent stages until natural death.

His column is carried or promoted by The Daily Catholic in agreement with Dr. Droleskey and his website www.christorchaos.com. You will also find many of his past columns at Christ or chaos archives. We have had a working agreement with Tom dating back to 2001 when we contracted with Fran Griffin, president of the Public Relations Firm Griffin Communications in Washington, D.C., to originally carry his columns after a two-week grace period for subscribers to Griffin Internet Syndicate.

Dr. Droleskey has lectured extensively around the nation for the past twenty years, and over this time nearing one million miles in driving. Talk about a "road warrior." His thirty-six hour lecture program, Living in the Shadow of the Cross, has been given in countless different venues across the United States. His current lecture program, "To be Catholic from the Womb to the Tomb," has been given in many, many different places across the nation. His work is dedicated to the restoration of the Traditional Latin Mass and of the Social Reign of Christ the King.

Droleskey is devoted to the establishment of the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ and the Queenship of Our Lady's Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. His first book, Christ in the Voting Booth, was published by Hope of Saint Monica, Inc., 1998. His second book, There Is No Cure for this Condition, was published by Chartres Communications in 2001($5.00, plus $5.00 for shipping and handling, Post Office Box 188, Pine Island, New York 10969). G.I.R.M. Warfare (The Traditional Latin Mass versus the General Instruction to the Roman Missal) was published in 2004; Restoring Christ as the King of All Nations, Droleskey's compendium of fifty-three articles about the immutable doctrine of the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ, was published in June of 2005. Volume II of Restoring Christ the King of All Nations, a compendium of 107 articles, will be published at some point in the future, if all goes well.

Droleskey served for some years on the Board of Advisers of the Society of Catholic Social Scientists. He serves presently on the board of the National Association of Private and Independent Catholic Schools and on the board of 100% Pro-Life Pac. He is listed in the 2001-2002 edition of the Marquis Who's Who in America.

Droleskey, who was born on November 24, 1951, is married to the former Sharon Collins. Their first child, Lucy Mary Norma, was born in Sioux City, Iowa, on March 27, 2002. A native of Long Island, Droleskey and his family now live in their motor home with his wife and daughter as he travels the nation to give lectures in behalf of the Social Reign of Christ the King and Mary our Queen.

We are appreciative of Tom's cooperation over the years and permissions to publish and promote his articles for we feel Dr. Droleskey is today's most prolific Catholic writer among all Traditional writers and he has proven, through his own trials of Job in his travels with his devoted wife and daughter, that he does indeed practice what he preaches, placing prayer and penance in the highest priority. It begins with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the daily Rosary and there is no one in this world who has attended as many traditional chapels throughout this land than Tom. He is willing to engage anyone in bringing unadulterated Roman Catholic truth to them whether it be on a street corner, at a gas station or restaurant, in the back woods, or in a traditional chapel. Tom is no stranger to controversy, and, all his life, has stood uncompromising for Jesus Christ, never ashamed to proclaim His Kingship and the infrangible dogmas of the only Church our Lord founded upon the Rock of Peter.
