John Gregory continues his series on the work of Monsignor Joseph Clifford Fenton prior to Vatican 2. Objectors can argue all they want, but the Fourth Lateran Council in 1215, the century of saints, made it abundantly clear the difference between "inside" the Church and "outside" the Church and what is the best place to be is obvious as the Council Fathers established infallibly who is saved and who isn't. Of course this is all relative to the CONciLIAR church who think they can rewrite the rules in order to win friends and influence people in following the Dale Carnegie formula while forgetting the dogmatic divinely ordained formula set in stone and codified by Pope Innocent III in the thirteenth century. It's not complicated, but really very simple with no ambiguous terms like Vatican 2 foisted on the faithful. The Church said it, that settles it as Msgr. Joseph Clifford Fenton documents in his work "The Catholic Church and Salvation" and as John explains the tie in of
The Dogma of Salvation and the Fourth Lateran Council
Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a ten-minute sermon given four years ago on this feast by Bishop Daniel Dolan, pastor of St. Gertrude the Great in Cincinatti, Ohio. His Excellency reminds us that St. Ignatius of Loyola was a former soldier, a Conquistador and he had seen bloodshed but wanted to save souls and to do so they needed to be educated, both the priests and the penitents.
Thus gathering some priests together he spearheaded the founding of the Society of Jesus that has fallen on very hard times for there are hardly any true Jesuits left today for "the worse thing is the corruption of those who are the best" and before Vatican 2 the Jesuits were considered the best. Not today for they have sold out to the Modernists and embraced the Apostasy, being some of the most liberal going and who began liberation theology in the 20th Century with many leading Jesuits responsible for laying the foundatin for the Great Apostasy. His Excellency prays that we will have the fire of God's love that consumed Saint Ignatius of Loyola

After the horrific fiasco in Rio with unFrancis calling for revolution, and following up yesterday's piece by Bishop Pivarunas on why John Paul 2 should never have ever been considered for sainthood were there a true Church in charge, we bring you a key article from Timothy Duff published here seven years ago which takes on pertinent attention considering we are just over 100 days from Doomsday. While there are so many true Popes who were holy and have received little if any recognition for sainthood over the centuries, suspicions are that John Paul 2 created his "saints factory" so that he could not only get himself elevated but canonize Vatican 2. When Mr. Jorge Bergoglio the unFrancis layman, the latest in a line of CONciLIAR false popes to occupy the Chair of Peter, eliminates the necessary Devil's Advocates and stringent procedures for declaring someone a saint, it is an insult to every person who professes to be Catholic to even think of the possibility of Karol Wojtyla even being considered for one second as holy and worthy of even the slightest consideration of canonization. Only to those who embrace the Church of Darkness does such insanity make sense, for it is satan's will to destroy what God established once and for all as Tim asks, seriously, Was John Paul II a "Saint"?
In the July 2013 edition of Adsum, His Excellency Bishop Mark Pivarunas, CMRI illustrates just one of the many, many areas that would automatically prohibit any consideration of sainthood for one who openly espoused heresy not just against what holy Mother Church has always taught, but against divine Law, specifically the very first Commandment. The fact the CONciLIAR church is proceeding with this abomination of elevating two Modernists to the highest honor the Church could bestow is proof positive to all, especially the cowering "Recognize-and-Resist" camp that these men and the one who will perform this blasphemous ceremony could not possibly be true popes for Christ has assured us He cannot deceive nor be deceived. Yet the vast majority have been deceived. That speaks volumes as to the veracity of sedevacantism if only Catholics were honest enough to admit the obvious. How can a man who promoted strange gods be promoted to sainthood?
Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you an eight-minute sermon given five years ago on this feast by Bishop Daniel Dolan, pastor of St. Gertrude the Great in Cincinatti, Ohio. His Excellency tells about St. Anthony of Padua's great devotion to St. Martha and that man cannot live without bread and she is the essense of the active vs. the contemplative of her sister St. Mary. She is depicted in art as holding the asperges in sprinkling holy water as a sacramental driving out the dragon which represents the devil as she clings to the Word of God of which she heard our Lord speak so often during his visits to their home. She comes to us at each funeral as a reminder of Christ's question to her if she believes in eternal life and her testimony to Him. The Bishop then gives a special blessing for this feast in concluding his sermon on Saint Martha
To enhance each Sunday's Epistle and Gospel we present this special feature provided by John Gregory with the Haydock Commentary found at the bottom of each page of the Douay-Rheims Bible. For the Tenth Sunday after Pentecost we have as the theme man's pride and forgetting who he really is for without God he is nothing. St. Paul bears this out in his Epistle to the Corinthians in warning that the spirit (Holy Ghost) cannot deceive, knows all and knows which gifts to bestow. Likewise in the Gospel God knows man's heart and though he might act humble, he who strives to be exalted will be humbled, as will he who broadcasts that he is 'humble' like a certain Argentinian, but he who credits God for whatever he has, be they gifts or crosses, will be exalted by God. After all, that's really all that matters.
The Essence of Humility
Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a 12-minute sermon last year for the Tenth Sunday after Pentecost by Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, Rector of St. Joseph Seminary at the City of Mary in Rathdrum, Idaho. Father points to Our Lord's words in the Gospel and urges us to be careful when we see something to not make rash judgments for then we can be as guilty as the pharisee. While we must judge the words and actions of others, we must also remember we never know their heart and must leave it to God to judge that. But we should, like St. Paul entreats us, to rebuke, reprieve, entreat but always with great charity and doctrine. If we are not sure, then remain humble for humility is the failsafe way to stay on God's good side since the more publican like we can be, the better our chances of Heaven as Father encourages with the wise advice: Let Us Humble Ourselves
The intention for the Fourth Saturday in this Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade first introduced by His Excellency Bishop Robert McKenna, O.P., is purity of body and soul. Most appropriate considering the debauchery and perversion going on throughout the world, not to mention the temptations in Rio with the CONciLIAR Woodstock on the beach. As the Italians would say: "Purity of body and soul? Fuhgeddaboutit!" but true Catholics can not only not forget, but keep this intention paramount in their lives since Our Lady said at Fatima that more sinners go to hell for the sins of the flesh than any other. Without a pure soul, we're damned! Think about it and pray. Fourth Saturday of the Fifteen Saturday Rosary Crusade
In tying in with the 4th Saturday, John Gregory provides a comprehensive reflection/meditation and study on the Presentation of the Child Jesus and the Purification of His Blessed Mother in the Temple and a renewed perspective of Mary's role in salvation in how her life parallels her holy obedience to all God has asked. Though her divine Child would be submissive to her as an obedient, loving Son for the next 30 years, it was here, 40 days after His birth that Mary followed the letter of the Jewish Law not only to present Him to the Jews as the Messiah, so recognized by Simeon, but also for Mary to obediently go through the rite of purification in the eyes of man - though she already was the purest vessel ever created by the Almighty, free of original sin. In a sense, for the rest of us born with Original Sin, her submission was the precursor for the Sacrament of Penance. John shares his reflection on The Fourth Joyful Mystery: The Presentation in the Temple
John Gregory takes a break from polemics to provide an inspiring piece on Saint Anne in a similar style to his meditations on the Mysteries of the holy Rosary. There is much to contemplate on the intricate and intimate role good Saint Anne played in bringing forth the Immaculate Conception. He calls on the words of His Holiness Pope Pius XI in his encyclical Casti Conubii and the insight of the noted liturgian and Benedictine abbot Dom Prosper Gueranger in illustrating that through the cooperation with God and her holy husband Saint Joachim, she nourished the only person ever conceived without sin for a purpose she did not know except for her love of God and the child she carried. Staying true to her mission she dedicated and raised the young child Mary to prepare her for the greatest story ever told: the Redemption of mankind. John provides the contemplation in
The Mother of the Mother of God
In honor of the Mother of the Mother of God we bring you an excerpt provided by Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey from a concerned Catholic mother who realizes her mission in life is to do all in her power to get her offspring to Heaven. No greater love does a mother have than to give her life for her children and most mothers do, but too often the world trumps the maternal wisdom learned at a mother's knee, those times when children learned to pray, to turn to Jesus and His Immaculate Mother and to learn their Baltimore catechism, to understand the concept of First and Last Things, so that they could pass on the holy Faith to their children. Today, that progression is, if you will, a lost art, for satan has so oversaturated minds and hearts, that to adhere to the solid principles taught in their youth is today a conflict with their daily life if they have succumbed to the world, the flesh and the devil. Thanks to Vatican II and the failure of the Church to be the guardian of souls, too many children have and therein the following letter. A Heartfelt Letter from a Concerned Catholic Mom
While today is not Mother's Day, it could very well be. At the least it should be "Grandmother's Day" because it is the feast of the greatest grandmother who ever lived, the grandmother of none other than the Son of God Himself. Yes, we are referring to good Saint Anne. The late Denise Michele submitted this article several years ago and it's worth re-running on this feast. Before cancer claimed Denise's life, she worked tirelessly in promoting mothering and mentoring mothers, herself a mother of a large family struggling over being forced into a lifestyle against everything she held dear, especially the importance of motherhood and their greatest gift: bearing children. This is a lesson lost on today's selfish, instant-gratification generation who have forgotten that the rewards of motherhood are 'rolled over' in Heaven forever. Why? Because mothers work in cooperation with God to populate Heaven, and this would never have been possible without the fiat of
Good Saint Anne, Patroness of Mothers
Following up NovusOrdoWatch.org's latest volley to the "Resist-and-Recognize" gang who ignore the elephant in the room and the bizarre and dangerous actions of one Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis, we bring you a column Griff Ruby wrote for The Four Marks
two years ago as he points out there is no sensible solution to their stance other than to admit the sedevacantists are right. Of course, pride and fear hold them back from connecting the dots and admitting the obvious in the face of all the atrocities committed against God's divine Laws and the truths and traditions of holy Mother Church. Griff shows here why it is not possible that the current popes could ever be legitimate and to continue to recognize them while still resisting not only aberrant commands, judgments, and examples, but even erroneous doctrines
, is to exhibit a non-Catholic mentality. It is time to either break with the false church of Vatican 2 or to embrace the Great Apostasy and make friends of Mammon now. There can be no other way. Fence sitting is henceforth forbidden because horns can be dangerous to the welfare of souls.
Escaping the Trilemma
On this feast of St. James the Apostle, St. Christopher is intrinsically linked as the renowned venerable Benedictine Abbot Dom Prosper Gueranger relates. In many traditional parishes, vehicles are blessed on this day as well for St. Christopher medals and statues still populate traditional homes and cars. St. Christopher ferried so many of His "lesser ones" across the turbulent river to pray at the tomb (above left) of St. James the Greater at Santiago Compostela in Spain. A final thought. Why would
Archbishop Giovanni Montini have wanted to rid the calendar of St. Christopher? Why would Bishop Karol Wojtyla and Father Joseph Ratzinger have followed suit in condoning such insolence? Could it be because St. Christopher, is, as Gueranger points out, the patron saint against demons and we all know who let the demon dogs in the front door after Cardinal Angelo Roncalli opened wide the back door. Sancte Christophorus, ora pro nobis. For more, see Saint Christopher
John Gregory continues his series on the work of Prior to Vatican 2 and the occupiers who slithered in as imposters with the intent to slowly but surely destroy the Church, the true magisterium ordinarium et universale determined that one must believe what the Church has decreed. It is not open to opinion if it is de fide. While there are some discussions and dissent on theological opinions, such as the stance of sedevacantism, there is no discussion as to who is saved outside the Church. That would be no one! However one need not be a member of the Church per se to be saved, though one can only be saved through the Catholic Church. That is de fide, set in stone, as Monsignor Fenton so deftly explains in identifying the very documents that lock this in with no room for discussion. Yes, Feeneyites, it's an open and shut case. Oh, and those in the Recognize-and-Resist camp, compare the orthodoxy and no-nonsense doctrine Fr. Fenton presents to the excessive verbage and progressive pabulum the robber barons have been spewing for the past 50 years.
John reminds you of what is Catholic truth with Part Three
The Dogma of Salvation in Official Pronouncements of the Church
In Book Four of Chapter Forty-Six of the Prophesies and Revelations of the holy mystic St. Bridget of Sweden we see the bride's exhortation toward a man who has not treated others fairly in his mission to acquire temporal things. St. Bridget does what every Catholic should do as Jesus invokes in the gospels and as St. Paul's epistles supplicate us to do and that is to in all charity to preprove, entreat, rebuke in all patience and doctrine. In this particular case, she identifies who received the message of conscience and why this man, whom she does not know but loves because he is made in the image and likeness of God, needs to amend his ways, make recompense to those wronged in every way, and treat others as he would want to be treated by the divine Judge. She warns that, if he continues in his ways, God will deal him a harsh sentence.
Make Amends Now
The race-baiters are in a race to keep race at the forefront because they have nothing else as Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey notes in his latest article at christorchaos.com that Caesarus Barakamus Obama and Eric with-Holder are beholden to satan, not God and are doing all in their power to divide and conquer. This is evident from all the hate rhetoric as a result of a fair trial not going the way the way those who talk about "fair share" want and so they'll do whatever it takes to gin up dissent. They should realize the warnings of St. Bridget above. But thanks to Modernism, most of the populace are clueless, failing to realize it's not about the color of one's skin but the color of one's ideology, which is Marxist to the core. Yet, because most have been so dumbed down in both church and state, they are mere pawns in the bid of yet another narcissist in the Hitler-like mode who will do anything to misdirect while the POTUS plots the destruction of America, much in the same way those in Rome have sought to destroy true Catholicism over the past fifty years.
Reality Is No Impediment To a Demagogue
In his Eleison Comment #314, Bishop Richard Williamson reaches back to what the founder of the Society of St. Pius X said back in 19 years ago this month where Archbishop Lefebvre cautioned not to become complacent or think the SSPX can be immune from exactly the same thing that happened to the Church. He especially was concerned that the elders with wisdom would die off and there would be few to guide the youth in truth. So also is Bishop Williamson. This is most apropos considering the clueless youth of the world
will flock to Rio to partake in what they assume is Catholic, but in truth has nothing to do with Catholicism whatsoever, but rather a new age Protestant Masonic mayhem where flash mobs take the place of reverent processions. The wise, elderly former SSPX prelate doesn't broach the WYD, but he is concerned that the Society today is slipping and there is little that can be done if the faithful do not realize that the SSPX is without a rudder and a crew that has been exiled or had no choice but to abandon a sinking ship as His Excellency provides a Long-Range Forecast
Today the Church honors Saint Mary Magdalen. The Latin writers, beginning with Tertullian, have generally and with great probability identified Mary of Magdala as the sister of Lazarus, and as the sinner who anointed the feet of Jesus. She was so called either from Magdala near Tiberias, on the west shore of Galilee, or possibly from a Talmudic expression meaning "curling women's hair", which the Talmud explains as of an adulteress. In the New Testament she is mentioned in Luke 8: 2-3 among the women who accompanied Christ and ministered to Him, where it is also said that seven devils had been cast out of her in Mark 16:9. For ore on this faithful servant of Our Lord and a penitent to emulate, see St. Mary Magdalen
To enhance each Sunday's Epistle and Gospel we present this special feature provided by John Gregory with the Haydock Commentary found at the bottom of each page of the Douay-Rheims Bible. For the Ninth Sunday after Pentecost the theme is that one does not know the hour of one's visitation, in other words, when he has to make an account before God of all he has done on earth. That is why St. Paul warned not to tempt Christ and why our Lord wept and then, in righteous anger, chased those out of the house of God who put more weight in worldly things. How we see this today in the once Catholic churches that call themselves 'Catholic' but are anything but. The time will come when they will be chased out by means known only to God and they will be restored to true houses of God where the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Mass of All Ages will once again summon the angels and His abundant graces for those willing to abandon a civilization currently in slavery to the world, the flesh and the devil. How dare thou anger God
Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a 21-minute sermon given a few years ago by Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, Rector of St. Joseph Seminary at the City of Mary in Rathdrum, Idaho. Father begins by showing the results of Our Lord's prophetic warning of what would happen to Jerusalem as he relates how Christ's words were carried out to the letter in today's Gospel of St. Luke 19 and later chapter 23. Father explains in detail the results of the destruction of Jerusalem, thanks to the account of Josephus, and Father then ties it to the Protestant Revolution and French Revolution, Spanish Civil War to today where we face the Great Apostasy with the false CONciLIAR church that has turned from His teachings, for woe to those who, through indifference or sloth, neglect to correspond with their graces. Father asks are we guaranteed because we have the true Faith? No, we must live our faith and never be complacent in our Faith. He reminds us of Apocalypse 3: 15-16. That is result if we do not realize the causes as Father entreats us to Learn the Lesson from History to Persevere in the Faith
How apropos that the intention for the Third Saturday in this Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade first introduced by His Excellency Bishop Robert McKenna, O.P., is detachment from the things of the world, contempt of riches, and love of poverty for today almost the entire population feels they must be attached to the world or they'll lose out. Oh, if only they realized what they are really losing by going after the finite brass ring that will corrode and infect the soul. We encourage you to join in this crusade, this week focusing on the Nativity of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Third Saturday of the Fifteen Saturday Rosary Crusade
In tying in with the 3rd Saturday, John Gregory provides an insightful inspiration on the great Mystery of Christ's incarnation - the Nativity of the promised Messiah. John provides insight from various reliable sources to enhance the meditation on the Third Joyful Mystery and why that Holy Night is so special while giving all a greater appreciation of Mary's role in salvation and how, through the Nativity of her Divine Son, and in cooperation with the chosen Joseph, She cooperated with God's call to bear all things in love, silence and obedience to God in all things in detachment from things of the world all for His greater honor and glory. John shares his reflection on The Third Joyful Mystery: The Nativity
The fact that St. Vincent de Paul's body remains incorrupt to this day is manifest proof of his holiness and Heaven's approval of all the good, saintly priest did on this earth. This humble French saint, founder of the an order of priests and nuns - the Sisters of Charity knew what poverty truly was for he lived it as a slave in Africa, exiled there by pirates. Even after returning to France and becoming a priest he willingly took the place of a galley slave. So dedicated was he that he devoted his life to helping the poor and destitute with their spiritual and bodily welfare. No saint ran the gamut of society like Vincent who served in royal courts and traversed the alleyways of Paris rescuing souls from the world, the flesh and the devil, knowing what Jesus meant by "the poor you will have always with you". His body lies in state high behind the main altar in a Parisian church of his name where countless souls file in to view his incorrupt body, a manifest miracle of his holiness. Patron Saint of all charitable associations
From the get-go of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass when compared to the sacrilegious New 'Mass' foisted on the faithful in 1969 by Paul the Sick after being programmed to accept it with John 23's 1962 Latin Mass that took liberties in preparing for the revolution in the liturgy, we see the grave differences for the essence of the purpose of the Mass has been altered, first by removing the Altar from the equation in favor of a table which is Protestant in every way and Masonic to the core as evidenced by the layout of the sanctuary as opposed to the hierarchical architecture that is exclusively Catholic with the separation of the high Altar and sanctuary by the Communion rail to the steps and the tabernacle front and center on the Altar. We dare anyone to find one Novus Ordo
church today where the tabernacle is on the altar where Mass is said. What has occurred is the Catholic way of praying vertically to God through the "other Christ" - the alter Christus
, namely a true priest has been replaced in the CONciLIAR church with praying horizontally for it's all about the unity of the community in a sick collective salvation mindset. Let us return to how it should be Mass of the Catechumens: Part One
While all know who St. Augustine and St. Robert Bellarmine are, John Gregory shows how Monsignor John Clifford Fenton deduces how they arrived at their conclusions through lesser known, but wise theologians as well as refuting Protestant polemicists. In the aftermath of Bellarmine's De Ecclesia Militante
, throughout the last several centuries, the teachings of this holy Cardinal of the Counter-Reformation have been misconstrued and misapplied, often times in ambiguous terms to totally negate the true meaning of St. Robert's teachings. Thanks to Pope Pius XII, it
was left to Monsignor Fenton to clarify the unadulterated truth and to expose those teachers who either misread or purposely applied his words to their own agendas, similiar to what the Second Vatican Council is noted for and which has continued with the newchurch 'popes' up to this very day, most recently in unFrancis' first encyclical Lumen Fidei
where, for instance, he intentionally attributes the wrong meaning and intent of St. Irenaeus that the holy Doctor of the Church would have approved of the CONciLIAR Church. We know he would not, but this deceit is necessary to justify Bergoglio's own agenda to canonize Vatican 2. If only we had a Monsignor Fenton today! If only we had a Pius XII! If only we had a true Pope! John presents this one time lengthy Part Two
, Chapter III
Some Sources of Misunderstanding
Down through the ages Mount Carmel has been a rock of inspiration and sanctification from the time of Elias to present day. The story of Carmel is prose, poetry and prayer and basically the benchmark of the Blessed Virgin Mary's integral role as Advocate, Co-Redemptrix, Mediatrix of all graces. Carmel has been favored by Our Lady as foretold in the Old Testament and as manifested to St. Simon Stock 672 years ago in 1251 when she bestowed on him the Brown Scapular and the amazing promise of ultimate salvation to all who abide by the rules of the Scapular. In addition, at Lourdes the Blessed Mother appeared to Bernadette as Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on this day 155 years ago and in the same heavenly garb on her final apparition at Fatima on October 13, 1917. We provide a thorough backgrounder on the meaning and magnificence of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and its history, masterfully conveyed by Abbe Dom Prosper Gueranger in his masterpiece The Liturgical Year as well as the Act of Consecration to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in honor of today's Double Major Commemoration in a feature we have chosen to call The Lasting Magnificence, Grace, and Power of Our Lady of Mount Carmel
We've all heard those words above by St. Francis of Assisi, but how many of us really understand this? Ava Bell, a committed Traditional Catholic, relates how this hit home for her in her earlier days before receiving the grace to truly see where she was heading. Her experience is pertinent for our times as she presents a sobering story that should shake the timbers of our souls and wake the echoes of those who assume security when, in truth, there is only one way to secure eternal salvation and no amount of superstitions will stay the inevitable truth that for any sacramental to be effective, the one receiving it must be of good will and open to the grace of God, specifically Sanctifying Grace. Without this protection, all else is futile, fateful. She candidly explains this and the Sabbatin Privilege in her article The Brown Scapular is Not a Good Luck Charm
We continue the nine day Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel that was composed in part by St. Simon Stock in the thirteenth century for it was to him the Mother of God, dressed in the colors of Carmel as a Carmelite holding her divine Son as a child, appeared to him and bequeathed to him the Brown Scapular which every true Catholic wears without fail 24 hours a day. It is similar to the monastic scapulars in miniature form and is considered a sacramental since it is blessed and Our Lady has promised that those who wear it faithfully will be granted the grace of final perseverance as long as they remain in the state of Sanctifying Grace. Today is Ninth and Final Day
Act of Consecration to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel
O Mary, Queen and Mother of Carmel, I come today to consecrate myself to thee, for my whole life is but a small return for the many graaces and blessings that have come from God to me through thy hands. Since thou lookest with special kindness on those who wearest thy Scapular, I implore the to strengthen my weakness with thy power, to enlighten the darkness of my mind with thy wisdom, and to increase in me Faith, Hope and Charity that I may repay each day my debt of humble homage to thee.
May thy Scapular bring me thy special protection in my daily struggle to be faithful to thy Divine Son and to thee. May it separate me from all that is sinful in life and remind me constantly of my duty to imitate thy virtues. From now on, I shall strive to live in God's Presence, and offer all to Jesus through thee. Dearest Mother, support me by thy never-failing love and lead me to paradise through the merits of Christ and thy own intercession. Amen.
Also see the special indulgence and promise to those who observe the stipulations as asked by Our Lady and approved by true Popes. See Sabbatine Privilege
In his Eleison Comment #313, Bishop Richard Williamson said it best when he said "the poison is in the tail". He'd best take such advice to heart himself about the scorpion and the great danger that lies in the sand for the "Resist-and-Recognize" camp - whether they are the Society of St. Pius X under Bishop Bernard Fellay, whom His Excellency excoriated in a nearly two-hour talk on July 2 in Kansas provided to all by NovusOrdoWatch with his Silver Jubilee Talk
; or the Resistance that is composed of His Excellency and most of the 100 priests who have left the SSPX either forced out or of their own volition, but whom, for the most part, despite their encouraging front, still cling to recognizing Modernist Rome as legitimate. We hope and pray that both parties will comprehend that the sting of the CONciLIAR scorpion is deadly. Yet that scorpion is a siren that, it seems, anyone connected with the Society just can't seem to evade. If the Resistance is truly going to advance and survive the cruel desert of Apostasy, they need to embrace sedevacantism for it is the only sure serum against the venomous CONciLIAR scorpion. Resistance Advances
On this ides of July we bring you an inspiring article on the holy emperor St. Henry as penned by Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey, who chose wisely in selecting Henry as his Confirmation name considering the virtues exhibited by this saintly Bavarian king. St. Henry, like King St. Louis IX. understood Who was really
King and focused all attention on Our Lord and Savior as well as directing his subjects to do the same for salvation was - is - the name of the game no matter who is ruling or where. That is something lost not only on the state today, but also the Modernist CONciLIAR church, thus causing countless souls to be lost. Henry would not have stood for such disastrous event of so many damned souls. Why then should we? Tom gets to the heart of the matter in An Exemplar of Christ the King
Today is Day Eight
To enhance each Sunday's Epistle and Gospel we present this special feature provided by John Gregory with the Haydock Commentary found at the bottom of each page of the Douay-Rheims Bible. For the Eighth Sunday after Pentecost, the theme is giving an account of one's responsibilities, one's stewardship over those things God has entrusted each with. This means abiding by His laws and not being slaves to the world, the flesh and the devil for to give in to that triumverate of trouble will punch one's almost sure ticket to accommodations with Mammon who is so cunning, especially in the midst of those children of the light who are not on their guard, not tending to their duties and not vigilant to the Holy Ghost's promptings. "Give an account of thy stewardship"
Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a fourteen-minute sermon given last year by Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, Rector of St. Joseph Seminary at the City of Mary in Rathdrum, Idaho. Father reminds us of the epistle of St. Paul today how living according to the flesh, we shall die and today we are in greater danger than ever because of the culture that leans toward the world, the flesh and the devil. To combat this we must avoid the occasions of sin and control our eyes and thoughts. Especially during the summer months. The best defense is the receiving the sacraments of Penance and the Holy Eucharist as often as we can. Invocations will help us throughout the day in keeping our eye on the Prize through living a life of virtue, beginning with humility and sincere contrition to go and sin no more. Do not allow yourself to be sucked in by society and the world for the only result of sin is guilt and punishment, eternal punishment. That's why it's called mortal sin! Father explains in Live The Life of Virtue
July 14 is the Double Feast of Saint Bonaventure. He is the only doctor celebrated in July. Satan is indeed furious and we need today men of the caliber of St. Bonaventure who was a man full of "good fortune" from his earliest years. Humility was his virtue; his role model was St. Francis of Asissi, the holy founder who named him.
He followed this man, continuing the ideals of the Franciscans, guiding them during turbulent times when growing pains created problems in the ranks and with various ecclesial authorities opposed to the Friars Minor. This Universal Doctor was one of the first saintly Cardinals of the Church. He was close friends with "The Angelic Doctor" St. Thomas Aquinas and the saintly king of France King Louis IX. He was the architect of the 2nd Council of Lyons and, fittingly, was called home by God immediately following completion of the Council. His work done on earth but continued through his writings and example; so much so that Saint Bonaventure is known as The Seraphic Doctor
Today is Day Seven
Ironic is it not that the intention for this second Saturday of the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade is charity towards our neighbor, when, thanks to Vatican II and political correctness, true charity - wanting our fellow man to be in Heaven - has been totally abandoned. Proseltyizing and conversion to the true Faith is considered offensive today, intolerant if you will. We must not judge, we must be tolerant we are told by the hypocrites in church and state while they go right on being intolerant of the virtuous in favor of furthering their own vices. Charity to them is redistribution where the incompetent n'er-do-wells are rewarded for their embrace of the Seven Deady Sins while those who endeavor to work by the sweat of their brow are taxed to death and regulated into debtors' prison by the idealogues who punish the virtuous by isolation and ridicule. They are all afraid of offending the offenders while gravely offending God. Is that charity? Not on your life and it is about life we're talking about - everlasting life. Second Saturday of the Fifteen Saturday Rosary Crusade
As we contemplate the second Joyful Mystery, we'd be wise to channel our charity towards that exhibited by the pregnant Blessed Virgin Mary in visiting her elder cousin Elizabeth much further along with child. She didn't just hop in a car or caravan to see her. No, she trekked quite a distant to see her, to offer her help amid great hardship. John Gregory shares the experience in his meditation for the Visitation which we celebrated at the beginning of the month. In this time when man's uncharity towards his fellow man is legend, we need to refocus on the intention for the Second Joyful Mystery - charity towards our neighbor out of our love for God. John shares the meditation of The Second Joyful Mystery: The Visitation
Today is Day Six
In Book Four of Chapter Forty-Five of the Prophesies and Revelations of the holy mystic St. Bridget of Sweden we see the bride's lamentation before the divine Majesty. She presents the four sisters, Humility, Abstinence, Contentment, and Charity, who are all daughters of Jesus Christ the pure, all-merciful and all-just King. She laments that they are rejected by the world as worthless but realizes these four wise sisters have chosen the narrow path through their virtue. While the world looks askance at them, they eagerly embrace and encourage the women of destitution who are the four sisters of the dark side known as Pride, Desire, Excess, and Simony. They are truly the daughters of the dark king who is the devil, and though they are now called noblewomen they will wither and die for they are whores of satan, while the four virtuous sisters of grace will live on brighter and more beautiful than ever. Such is the grace of God.

Griff Ruby shares a simple fact that should simply move you to simply say: He's right. It's that simple! Here we are, the few, who have a demographic out there of prospects for conversion, and few there are who are up to the task to reach out to these souls who, it has been proven, will respond if prodded right. The sad part is that we have so few venues to guide them to unless they're willing to make great sacrifices - like driving 200 miles to assist at the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, or risk losing friends and influence, because as complicated as it seems it really comes down to our salvation. It's that simple! Jesus has assured us that if we love others more than Him, we are not worthy of Him. He also said in Sunday's Gospel for the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost that not all those who say "Lord, Lord" will enter into His kingdom. That should wake up the masses to realize where they need to be - to see the Light, if you will. It's up to those who have this gift - the Traditional Catholics - to turn up the lights so all can see, truly see where they must be for the sake of their eternal soul! If they don't, then turn out the lights. It's over for them! Griff explains in

There are so many who speak of salvation, but they fail to realize that only through the Catholic Church, the one and only Faith on earth established by the Son of God - can man be saved. John Gregory begins with this first installment to share the renowned work of the orthodox theologian of the 20th Century Monsignor Joseph Clifford Fenton as John initiates a series on The Catholic Church and Salvation
. Fr. Fenton's work needs to be spread widely throughout the world, especially in these times when the very man who the world thinks is a pope says atheists can be saved by "doing good." Oh, how far we have fallen if we buy that heresy. This is also timely to combat the vapid "lumen fidei"
just released by the CONciLIAR comrades-in-corruption Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis and the quitter Joseph Ratzinger. Oh, we have lost so much and we need to return to our Catholic roots in order to prune off the bad branches that cling like bastardized barnacles to the bark while returning the Barque of Peter to the rightful crew to guide souls to Heaven's shore. Introduction to The Catholic Church and Salvation
In order to prepare ourselves properly we need to have our mind, heart and soul in sync with the divine Will. To do this we can't just rush in and plop down as the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass begins, but should be there beforehand in plenty of time to properly assist at Holy Mass. Of course, we are talking solely of the True Mass - the Traditional Latin Mass, also considered the Canonical Apostolic Mass of All Ages and any facsimile is a sacrilegious abomination of desolation which Our Lord warned of in St. Matthew 24: 15. Sadly, we have arrived at that time, also foretold by Our Lady and many saints, chief among them St. Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2: 3-10 and 2 Timothy 4: 3-4. We are in the time of the Great Apostasy, that time of when Our Lady of La Salette foretold "Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of the Antichrist." Satan's vehicle would be the abominable Novus Ordo Missae, bereft of all sacrificial aspects and akin to nothing more than a Protestant service, often times more bizarre than most mainstream Protestant forms. That is why, for true Catholics, reverence and decorum in dress, manners and mindset are so important in assisting at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Assisting at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

A Kartov Syndrome is when a chess player can't find the right move after giving it a lot of thought. Then, under pressure, he suddenly makes a move that can be dangerous when he looks back on what he should have done. Such is the case that could be facing Bishop Richard Williamson as we bring you his Eleison Comments #311 and #312. He is not deaf to the encouragement he's been given to be the bishop all hoped he would be for the "Resistance". He puts forth arguments in playing the Devil's Advocate himself on what course he should take as he reasons that it's all about jurisdiction and he cannot give that to himself. He brings up Ecclesia supplet, but rationalizes that it has to come from a pope. Of course there is no true pope and the CONciLIAR cabal doesn't deem that there is an emergency. Oh, but there is! Yes, we must turn to God for Deus providet, but He also expects us to realize when to act and that time is now. It's both encouraging what the Bishop says, but also discouraging that he's afraid to act. He urges patience, but the more patient we are, the more damage is done to souls. What is even more puzzling and discouraging is that he is waiting for the "pope" to come to his senses. Your Excellency, that will never happen! The apostate Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis is a lay wolf in sheep's clothing who was weaned on liberation theology. Ol' Jorge, a Peron disciple, is out to destroy whatever is left of the Petrine Primacy, so devastated by his five apostate predecessors. It's your move, Your Excellency. Choose wisely. Authority Crippled II in a Lively Debate
To enhance each Sunday's Epistle and Gospel we present this special feature provided by John Gregory with the Haydock Commentary found at the bottom of each page of the Douay-Rheims Bible. For the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost, quite possibly the most powerful of affirmations is given by our Lord and Savior that it isn't that difficult to tell who are the false prophets and heretics for by their fruits we shall know them. There is nothing ambiguous about Christ's words that a bad tree will be chopped down and rooted out, then cast into the fire. What other kind of fire would the Son of Man be talking about in His parable but eternal hellfire? It dovetails with St. Paul's words in the epistle that the wages of sin is death, as in mortal sin equals death to eternal life; and that eternal life is available only through the grace of God, our salvation merited by Christ's offering Himself on the Cross, shedding every last drop of His Most Precious Blood for us. A most fitting commentary to the Epistle and Gospel for the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost in these tumultuous times when all that is Catholic is mocked in Rome and throughout the world. They forget that Those who do not yield good fruit and remain unrepentant will be cast into the eternal fire
Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a twelve-minute sermon given last year by Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, Rector of St. Joseph Seminary at the City of Mary in Rathdrum, Idaho. Father asks, in speaking of today's gospel, how do we judge who is a false teacher? He shows that we have to judge by one's words and actions. Are they in sync with all the teachings of holy Mother Church. Father relates today's situation to the Old Testament and the traitor Absolam who wreaked so much havoc because of his own ambitions. Father asks us to test the spirits, know the true Faith so you will not be led astray. He refers to those in the CONciLIAR church who don't want to try to know the truth, using the excuse that they are not theologians, but Father points out we don't need to be to know the false church of Vatican 2 is a bad tree that is destined for the fire for there are no good fruits. Is it a good tree or a bad tree? As Father notes, the answer is obvious for By Their Fruits You Shall Know Them
As mentioned above, July 7 is the sixth anniversary of Ratzinger announcing his Motu Mess which was merely to deceive semi-traditionalists that he was sincere when, in reality, we all know what he really intended: to curtail any resistance from the Recognize-and-Resist crowd. Well, you think they're happy now with his replacement? Actually this might just be a wake-up call to the R&R gang that the sedevacantists have been right all along. Will they have the honesty to admit that? We can only pray they are not further deceived by believing there is any Catholicity left in Rome. We list below links to articles on the Motu Mess including Griff Ruby's prophetic Motu Wars four-part series.
Griff studied the CONciLIAR document Summorum Pontificum
and foretold exactly what would happen. As you'll see, he was dead on. Star Wars was fiction, this, sadly, was not.
Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey also weighed in with several pertinent points in:
Probably one of the best assessments of the Motu Mess was presented by Fr. Anthony Cekada with:
And finally, editor Michael Cain filed an editorial that shows the unsteady foundation of the CONciLIAR church for it is an unsteady
Besides this being First Saturday and the Octave Day of the First Class Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul, it is also the traditional feast of another man who had the courage of those two apostles. He was a man for all seasons and all reasons, which was not reason enough for the ruthless Henry VIII to stay his hand of execution and seal his own soul in a vortex of further sin by condemning the innocent St. Thomas More to death. Do you really think the Modernists will be any less lenient when we stand against the false church of conciliarism? We have already seen that anything goes except if you are a Traditional Catholic. Never mind that the CONciLIAR cabal will do anything to justify the heretical Vatican 2 by attempting to elevate two apostate false 'popes' John 23 and John Paul 2 to the same echelons as Pope St. Pius V and Pope St. Pius X. This is a sacrilege and travesty of the highest degree that the world is swallowing hook, line and sinker. See the infallible decrees that have already condemned these men as heretics, outside the Church - as apostates. We must speak out. We must be willing to have the guts and grace that the holy martyr Thomas had for the true Faith. Are we ready to do that? Are we ready to stand alone? We should take courage from this layman, who was Chancellor of England. Here was a man who gave up home, his wife, family, prestige, treasures, the plaudits of man, and his very life rather than compromising one iota with anyone who would dare veer from the one and only true Faith Christ established upon the Rock of Peter. He realized his greatest treasure was his soul. He would do nothing to jeopardize that. Today, such principle and commitment seems less and less a reality. So great is the pull of the world, the flesh and the devil in duping the vast majority to believe the church in Rome today is Catholic. Sir Thomas More would have recognized the counterfeit church immediately, why don't we? See God wanted More and Thomas complied
News has just been released that Angelo Roncalli and Karol Wojtyla are to be "canonized" by Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis layman on December 8, the holyday of the most pure Immaculate Conception. What an insult to Our Lady! You might ask: How could the Church ever honor or respect, let alone beatify and canonize men who proclaim to the world that false religions spawned by satan are to be respected and that we all worship the same God? The true Roman Catholic Church founded by Jesus Christ could not, but the counterfeit robber barons who stole in and somehow were able throw a huge shroud over the true Church in order to eclipse her for the past 50 plus years as the imposters masqueraded as Catholic authority could and did! Was it not the second of the apostate rulers Paul the Sick who said in his homily 41 years ago, "through some cracks in the wall the smoke of satan has entered the temple of God"? Yes, it was, and who first gave him entry? Why the very same man who made Montini a 'cardinal', thus giving him his portal to the throne of Peter as the second false pope after Cardinal Angelo Roncalli, who, even before proclaiming himself as John XXIII, had abdicated all authority just as Pope Paul IV decreed in Cum ex apostolatus officio
And if satan had entered in 1972 or well before that, do you really think he's left? Not by a long shot. He's merely ensconced himself in the sanctuary, permeating every corner of the CONciLIAR church to where each man who was elected 'pope' by a sham conclave only became worse than the one he replaced. Case in point John 23 and John Paul 2, both of whom are being railroaded in by the apostate afficianodos who think that in coninizing Roncalli and Wojtyla they can justify Vatican 2. How much longer will God allow this? Knowing Sacred Scripture and the history of the Church, we have to say: not long. Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey presents the first of two parts on this lunacy that no Catholic should ever subscribe to as they foist upon us two men who by their words and actions, are unlikely even in Purgatory. We can be relatively sure they're not in Heaven and that's the only place one can be to be proclaimed a saint on earth. But then again that's the Catholic way and there is nothing Catholic left in the CONciLIAR climes. See Tom's first part:
Two For The Price Of One Part One
On this 4th of July, we should reflect on what true independence means for we can only be free if we submit to God's Holy Will. If we do not have Christ in our lives and live as He established for His True Church, then our Independence Day in the USA means nothing for we are not free, but rather slaves to the world, the flesh and the devil. Never was this more evident than this year when our freedoms are vanishing. We can see over this past year how the Marxists in office are marching to satan's tune in smothering society and taxing the country into oblivion to break her. It is all good and proper to be patriotic, but if we allow the robed marauders in the courts and chanceries to continue to diminish moral law, or do nothing when the Kenyan-born usurper to the presidency says to sodomites that those who follow God's laws are out of touch with their "worn arguments and old attitudes", well, if we just roll over and let him get away with such blasphemy our days of freedom are definitely numbered not just in respect to foreign and domestic enemies, but with God. All the more reason to trust in Jesus for all things and strive to establish His Social Kingship in America and recognition of Mary as our Immaculate Queen!
Below is a prayer submitted by Joe Omlor whose father, the renowned pioneer of the Traditional Movement Patrick Henry Omlor passed away a few months ago. Also please keep in your prayers his daughter and Joe's sister Margaret who, thanks to downsizing, lost her job and may have to move from the states back to Australia. Perhaps, if Obamacare and other non-Christian and immoral measures intensify, others will follow to that traditional haven in Perth.
Dear God, bring the Faith to our beloved country. It was once a virgin land wherein the only praise was that of the murmur of the Mass on the shores, the hills and the prairies. Zealous priests and explorers claimed it for Thee, giving Thy Holy Name to its rivers, lakes and cities. From east to west they traveled, from mission to mission, from Mass to Mass until the land was encircled by prayer and gave of its bounty to Thy glory. And now it is dedicated to Thy Immaculate Mother. May she find America again, as she once found the lost Child Jesus in the Temple. May she touch the hearts of our people, disposing them to receive the ancient faith, and thus showing them the things that are to their peace. We ask this of Thee through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
We are taught to venerate saints, to emulate them and to listen to their wisdom, but too often we can interpret what they said in the light of modern thought and therein misintrepted metaphors can turn into a confusing concoction where if one assumes the saint meant one thing while, in truth, he meant no such thing, well it can create problems. Such is the case of the holy Doctor of the Church St. Robert Bellarmine's use of body and soul in his masterpiece De Ecclesia Miltante (The Church Militant). The esteemed theologian Monsignor Joseph Clifford Fenton clears up the confusion by referring to His Holiness Pope Pius XII's Mystici Corporis as John Gregory continue this series on the Mystical Body of Christ. Father Fenton's "The Use of the Terms Body and Soul with Reference to the Catholic Church"
On the feast of the holy Pope St. Leo II we commemorate a most important Apostolic Constitution issued by another holy Pope, His Holiness Pope St. Pius X. Today is the 106th anniversary of that papal decree being circulated on the Syllabus of Errors condemning the mother heresy of heresies - Modernism. It is interesting to note this was the first of three steps in doing all he could to crush Modernism for he proclamated this decree three months prior to his longer infallible decree Pascendi Domenici Gregis
in which he would follow up three years later with the mandatory oath for all clergy, pastors, confessors, preachers, religious superiors and professors in philosophical-theological seminaries. All this he did to preserve the integrity of the holy Faith. You would think his measures were failsafe, but alas, we know the devil is powerful as has been proven over the past fifty plus years during this time of the Great Apostasy which you will truly understand more clearly once you have read
Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a nine-minute sermon given six years ago for the feast of the Visitation by Bishop Daniel Dolan, pastor of St. Gertrude the Great in Cincinnati, Ohio.
His Excellency points out that the Visitation is the triumph of the Most Precious Blood which is flowing through the womb of Christ's holy mother Mary. St. John the Baptist, whose Octave Day was just yesterday, recognized Its salvific flow as he leapt in Elizabeth's womb. The Bishop emphasizes why and when this feast was established as well as treating the holy martyrs commemorated this day Sts. Processus & Martinian who received the Baptism of Blood. The meeting of Mary and Elizabeth is a coming together of love and total peace as His Excellency explains the words in the Gospel of St. Luke for this feast of
John Gregory provides an insightful inspiration on the Visitation where Our Lady dismissed all concerns for herself to minister to others, most notably her cousin St. Elizabeth who was further along in her pregnancy than Mary. Elizabeth recognized in Mary God's design for her younger cousin as did the babe in her womb - Saint John the Baptist who, though not conceived free of Original Sin was sanctified at the presence of the Babe in Mary's womb - the fetus of the God-Man. In this time when man's uncharity towards his fellow man is legend, we need to refocus on the intention for the Second Joyful Mystery - charity towards our neighbor out of our love for God. This charity is not reserved only for a select few, but all we meet. This charity is not about doing only humane things for others, but going well beyond that in doing all we can to do all in our power to see that our neighbor will save his eternal soul. This means charitably rebuking, correcting and admonishing if our neighbor has veered from the path God intended, and that means knowing our Faith so others will know it and convert. That's the greatest charity we can do for others because we do not want to see them condemned. That's what can happen as Jesus so clearly told us in St. Matthew 28: 20 and St. Mark 16: 16. John shares the meditation of The Second Joyful Mystery: The Visitation
For this Double of the Second Class Feast of the Visitation, Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey provides an inspirational piece for that says it all about the charity our Blessed Mother extends to all in his piece. Magnficat
Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a nine-minute sermon given last year on this First Class Feast by Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, Rector of St. Joseph Seminary at the City of Mary in Rathdrum, Idaho. Father points out that every single drop of the Blood He shed was of infinite value.
Blood was shed from His circumcision to the Agony in the Garden to His brutal scourging and crowning of thorns and then His crucifixion as well as being pierced with a lance where poured forth blood and water, re-enacted at each Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in an unbloody manner with the wine confected into His Most Precious Blood. He is the Lamb of God and the sacrifices of the Old Testament, such as the paschal lambs, would have had no value had not they foreshadowed the Victim on the Cross and continued today in the Traditional Latin Mass at the transubstantiation where the Passover continues but in a truly salvific manner for He offered Himself for our sins as we understand fully by the shedding of The Most Precious Blood of Jesus
