June 2013 (features.htm)

To enhance each Sunday's Epistle and Gospel we present this special feature provided by John Gregory with the Haydock Commentary found at the bottom of each page of the Douay-Rheims Bible. We publish it here in conjunction with the Epistle and Gospel for the Sunday Mass, with the cogent comprehensive Catholic Commentary penned by Father George Leo Haydock. For the Sixth Sunday after Pentecost we are reminded that through baptism we die to sin and are crucified with Christ, confident in knowing that if we are faithful to Him He will always be faithful to us, and, as St. Mark's Gospel illustrates in the loaves and the fishes, there is no end to His mercy and promises. We will always have nourishment for the soul. If we die to sin we will always be nourished

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a ten-minute sermon given two years ago by Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, Rector of St. Joseph Seminary at the City of Mary in Rathdrum, Idaho. Father points out the theme for the Sixth Sunday after Pentecost on the second account of the loaves and the fishes is about the abundance of God's treasures and how He bestows so much on us both spiritually and temporally, always providing for our needs. We should not worry since the birds of the air are taken care of and Christ emphasizes how much more important the soul is than the body. The graces are available to us if we but take advantage of assisting at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and observe devotions, as well as silent prayer. It is truly amazing how many souls are lost considering God asks so little of them. Only on Judgment Day will all be revealed. If one is truthful they will say either they wished to profit by grace or they did not. It's that simple. Father explains in The Abundance of Grace is there for the taking Salvation is there for the asking

This is the fourteenth of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. The fourteenth reason is that Christ offers Himself to us as a Sacrifice of praise, thus atoning for our omissions in praising the Holy Name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior.

This is the fourteenth of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number thirteen: Because the New Mass favors the heretical theory that it is the faith of the people and not THE WORDS OF THE PRIEST which makes Christ present in the Eucharist. This altering of the Lex orandi, lex credendi has contributed mightily and tragically to a vast majority not believing in the transubstantiation in following the very same path Martin Luther did in being responsible for so many souls in hell.

It is so appropriate that we begin this year's Fifteen Week Rosary Crusade, first begun several years ago by His Excellency Bishop Robert McKenna, O.P., on the feast of the holy Apostles Saints Peter and Paul since our prayer is to preserve the Petrine Primacy which has been usurped since October 9, 1958. Much more has been usurped since then as is laid out in this crusade that is so crucial to the salvation of souls. We have available to us the most powerful weapon Heaven could afford us, one that all can use and yet so few use it. That's like sending an army to the front lines with high-powered rifles and other artillery, but not loading the ammo. Doesn't make sense. Neither does holstering our Rosaries when we could be firing intercessory bullets to Heaven to save souls. If we don't do it, who will? We may feel like Peter and want to flee our responsibility, or like Paul who had to be knocked from his horse before he saw the light. What will it take for this hard-hearted generation? It's time to rouse the troops and lock and load. Thus today we begin this annual Crusade with the intention of a profound humility, unlike the false humility a certain proponent of Liberation Theology exhibits while he further destroys whatever semblance of Catholicity is left. See First Saturday of the Fifteen Saturday Rosary Crusade

This is the thirteenth of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. The thirteenth reason is that by offering this act of worship to God, we make reparation for the glory which we have failed to give Him.

This is the thirteenth of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number thirteen: Because the New Mass blurs what ought to be a sharp difference between the HIERARCHIC Priesthood and the common priesthood of the people, which Protestantism does. The problem is that anyone ordained in Paul the Sick's new rite since 1968 are no more priests than a Protestant minister because they are both presbyters, but not consecrated and therefore unable to confect the sacraments or absolve sin.

With what has gone down this week editor Michael Cain points out the obvious. Summer is here and those who think it's getting hotter are absolutely correct. But it has nothing to do with the climate, nothing to do with the sun, but rather those who are trying to blot out the Son. That's right because it isn't about seeking out air conditioning, nor deflecting the heat rays by ducking beneath shade trees nor applying all sorts of "snake-oil" creams to protect the skin. No, none of those. Rather it is through legislation that things have become definitely dangerous to the soul and it will kill. If you ignore that fact, then you'll be able to identify the real snakes who slithered into your soul. Unfortunately it will be too late! You've seen the warning on the cigarette packs that says "Smoking Kills"? Well, it should be written in the sky and everywhere something everyone needs to realize before they get burned to a crisp: "Sin Kills Forever!" Of course, that wouldn't be politically correct and tolerance of sin is something we have to be sensitive to. Not!!! Understand well that to look the other way when one is offending God is not in a Catholic's lexicon. We can never tolerate sin and must not be afraid to seek to alter our neighbor's dangerous path before they would make the mistake of their lives. We need to help others to recognize The Real Global Warming!

We also strongly urge you to read Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey's take on the tragicdecisions coming from the High Court or "Temple of Doom" as Tom calls it. But should we really be surprised? Not when we consider the causes and effects of what has led to this. See Irreversible By Means Merely Human

This is the twelfth of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. The twelfth reason is that for our salvation Christ offers Himself as a true burnt-offering, the sacrificial Lamb of God, and renders to the Godhead the supreme honor which It is due.

This is the twelfth of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number twelve: Because the New Mass confuses the REAL Presence of Christ in the Eucharist with His MYSTICAL Presence among us. This proximates Protestant belief. It leads to exactly what we have today where few believe in the True Presence. The stark truth is He's not present in the Novus Ordo since the bread and wine cannot be confected into the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity because the words of Consecration have been changed, thus nullifying the sacrament.

We join all our readers in extending our heartfelt congratulations to some special CMRI nuns for whom today is very special. First of all, today at Holy Mass celebrating Our Lady's feast Sister Marie Vianney celebrates her Silver Anniversary of taking her vows twenty-five years ago. Joining her is Sister Augustine Marie who takes her triennial vows this day along with Sister Helen Marie who pronounces her first vows on this special feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. In addition please keep Miss Theresa Peck in your prayers as she enters the Novitiate of the Sisters of the Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen at Mt. St. Michael's in Spokane, Washington. Also, this week the CMRI priests and brothers gather at the Mount for a Chapter Meeting to go over their Holy Rule and elect a Superior General for the next six years. His Excellency Bishop Mark Pivarunas, CMRI has served in this capacity for several years and we shall see if he continues or if a new man will be elected. One thing is certain, they will not fall into the same trap the Society of St. Pius X has with one man seeking to acquire all the power at the expense of the flock. For more on this, see CMRI

This is the eleventh of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. The eleventh reason is that for our salvation Jesus sprinkles our souls with His Most Precious Blood and purifies our souls from every stain.

This is the eleventh of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number eleven: Because the New Mass does not manifest Faith in the Real Presence of our Lord -- the Traditional Mass manifests it unmistakably. This has only grown more stark and different over the years despite the attempt by Benedict-Ratzinger to mask it with the Motu Mess of July 7, 2007 that has proven totally fruitless and with Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis visibly against any semblance of tradition, it too will soon be gone.

In Book Four of Chapter Forty-Four of the Prophesies and Revelations of the holy mystic St. Bridget of Sweden we see where Our Lord Jesus Christ's words to the bride liken the body to a ship and the world to the sea. He explains to Bridget how free will can lead souls to Heaven or to hell. How? By not steering the course God has charted, but setting off on their own course over the dangerous waters where they are in danger of hitting the sharp crags beneath the surface with the eventual result of shipwrecked and sunk into the depths of the fiery abyss. Our Lord also uses the comparison of earthly beauty to a glass, which is usefull as container. But if that container breaks, what happens to its contents? They spill all over, no longer secure; so also with man's soul, if he does not curb his body as far as vice is concerned, the protective shell of virtue will be penetrated and, as the body is led, so also is the soul. Without the protection of grace, the devil destroys the container God has given every man to protect his soul. Protecting Body and Soul

Today is the Ninth and Final Day of the nine day devotion leading up to the feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help tomorrow. It is a beautiful devotion that was approved, with the title and icon by His Holiness Pope Pius IX. If we ever needed Heaven's help, Catholics know who to ask for that help -- the very Virgin who is known as Our Mother of Perpetual Help. We'd be fools not to turn to her and this preparation period is the perfect time to do so with the Devotions to Our Mother of Perpetual Help

This is the tenth of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. The tenth reason is that for our salvation Jesus shed His Most Precious Blood in a mystic manner, and offers it up for us to the Divine Majesty, His Heavenly Father.

This is the tenth of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number ten: Because "the pastoral reasons adduced to support such a grave break with tradition...that these reasons do not seem to us sufficient." This is a response from Afredo Cardinal Ottaviani and Antonio Cardinal Bacci recorded in The Ottaviani Intervention. We can see even the most avid CONciLIAR presbyters are admitting all of this was a "pastoral disaster" as the head of the seminary in Chicago said it only served to dumb down Catholics.

Continuing what we began last week, it is important to realize that Tradition is never more apparent than during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass when the rituals are carried out to the tee without exception. Of course, that is in the true Mass, where everything must be precise from the sacred vessels used to the exact prayers said to the vestments worn and the exact specs of the altar and accompanying accoutrements. Each has a reason dating back to the Old Testament and each has a place and purpose in carrying out the re-presentation of the ultimate sacrifice on Calvary as the priest, acting as the alter Christus is the high priest offering the Son to the Father in a fulfillment of Christ's Own Sacrificial words on the Cross to the heavenly Father. These rituals have been bastardized in the new church formed at Vatican II, but here we present what the true Church still demands for the Holy Sacrifice to be valid and licit so the faithful may assist where the True Presence of Christ exists and offer the Mass for the four ends of adoration, thanksgiving, atonement, and petition in order to reap the fruits of the merits won for us by Christ's sacrifice in applying The Accoutrements of the Altar

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a seven-minute sermon given five years ago by Bishop Daniel Dolan, pastor of St. Gertrude the Great in Cincinnati, Ohio. His excellency's words on St. William of Vercelli, who, like St. John the Baptist, was a penitential loner during the 12th century who then went forth to preach the Faith to the masses while also founding a monastery and working miracles. Like the Baptist he was fearless for William knew no fear with God on his side. He converted kings and scaled mountains to establish the Benedictine Monastery of Monte Virgine in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary near where the Latin writer Virgil wrote the Illiad and the Odyssey. The Bishop reminds us that we never know how divine Providence will work if we are open to God's holy will just as did St. William the Abbot

Today is Day Eight of the nine day devotion leading up to the feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help this coming Thursday.

This is the ninth of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. The ninth reason is that for our salvation Jesus mystically renews His death, and sacrifices His precious life in an unbloody manner for us to show how much He loves us.
This is the ninth of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number nine: Because in less than seven years after the introduction of the New Mass, priests in the world decreased from 413,438 to 243,307 -- almost 50%! (Holy See Statistics). Now look at today and the numbers are dwindling. What's even worse is the number of true priests today are a mere handful compared to the cornucopia of vocations there were prior to Vatican II. But Paul the Sick's intention was to change the priesthood, devoid of sacramental grace.

Bishop Richard Williamson continues his short series on the precarious plunge of 'popes', prelates, and priests and the populace that followed he Pied Pipers' putrified path, which includes over the past 15 years the Society of St. Pius X under its superior general Bishop Bernard Fellay. In his Eleison Comments #310 Fellay's former confrere Bishop Williamson shrieks at the horror that is apparent if Fellay carries through with his obstinate path of compromising with the Modernist apostates. His Excellency fears Fellay is determined to make a name for himself at the expense of deceiving so many souls who had put their trust in him. Bishop Williamson bemoans that Fellay's priorities are for the newSociety at the expense of the true Faith while destroying all that Archbishop Lefebvre sought to perpetuate. Sadly, Fellay's double indemnity will turn into double duplicity with so many souls deceived and lost. That is the true horror! Now only if they would all connect the dots they could all avoid the Horrible Fall -- II

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a twenty-three-minute sermon given last year on the feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist by Father Kevin Vaillancourt, pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Traditional Catholic parish in Spokane, Washington. Father reminds us how important this feast is since only three nativities are celebrated, Our Lord's on Christmas, Mary's on September 8 and St. John the Baptist today for he, like us was conceived in sin, but was born without Original Sin as the Gospel of Luke tells us for he lept in his mother Elizabeth's womb and was the first to be baptized in the womb, if you will, for God had great plans for this holy man. The Baptist is mentioned several times throughout the Mass for he has "an integral part in everything regarding the mysteries of our redemption" because his mission from God was to Prepare A Perfect People

This is the eighth of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. The eighth reason is that for thy salvation Jesus Christ renews His bitter Passion in order that we may participate in it.
This is the eighth of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number eight: Because "amongst the best of the clergy the practical result (of Paul VI's "abomination of desolation", i.e. the new 'mass') is an agonizing crisis of conscience..." as Alfredo Cardinal Ottaviani and Antonio CardinalBacci wrote in The Ottaviani Intervention in protesting the deadly path Paul the Sick had taken in his ransacking the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

For the Fifth Sunday after Pentecost the theme is that if one is reconcilied with his fellow man then he will always be reconciled with God for he will remain in the state of grace, which is necessary for participating in the sacramental fullness of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. If we do not comply with our Lord's commands, the consequences are catastrophic as we see in Fr. Haydock's cogent comments for the Fifth Sunday after Pentecost Haydock Commentary Make amends with thy brother before partaking at the altar

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a twelve-minute sermon given two years ago by Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, Rector of St. Joseph Seminary at the City of Mary in Rathdrum, Idaho. Father points out the theme for the Fifth Sunday after Pentecost is holiness beginning with St. Peter entreating us to turn away from evil and Jesus' stern intimidation that we cannot assume we will be saved if our hearts are not true. Father cites several other passages of the gospels where Our Lord points out that we cannot take our salvation for granted, but that we should strive to be like Christ for we are temples of the Holy Ghost and have the instinctive goal of striving for holiness. Father also provides what some of the saints advised on becoming holier. It is very simple, Father emphasizes, merely: avoid evil, and do good. He encourages those who may think they could never be a saint, but often times it is through misconception that they have to be exactly like them. Father maintains that sanctity consists of the virtues we maintain because we are called to be saints. After all, saints are sinners striving to do good. So also, Father urges us to Strive For Holiness

This is the seventh of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. The seventh reason is that for thy salvation Christ performs - through the alter Christus - on the altar the same act of worship He performed when on earth.
This is the seventh of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number seven: Because in times of confusion such as now, we are guided by the words of Our Lord: "By their fruits you shall know them." Fruits of the New Mass are: 30% decrease in Sunday Mass attendance in U.S. (NY Times 5/24/75), 43% decrease in France (Cardinal Marty), 50% decrease in Holland (NY Times 1/5/76). Note this was just 10-11 years after Vatican II. Consider how bad it is today 50 years later! Mon dieu, que diable!

This past week we reintroduced three features in a concentrated effort to focus on the true Mass, the Canonical Apostolic Traditional Latin Mass of All Ages - "the most beautiful thing this side of Heaven" throughout this summer. This week we carried three installments we've run prior on the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass to date in our series Catholicism Made Simple. Then, beginning this past Monday we began providing for each day one of the seventy-seven graces garnered from assisting at Holy Mass. Conversely, right along with the former we are producing each day one of the sixty-two reasons why one cannot in good faith attend the Novus Ordo - ever. Below for today is Reason #6. We might add that you can click on any day above the masthead to go to the day you might have missed. That includes an editorial by Michael Cain who filed a long-overdue poignant response after taking just so much from the most unpapal imposter to ever enter Vatican City and how, like Obama is doing all he can to destroy America, so also Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis is doing all he can to destroy the Petrine Primacy and the orthodox Catholic Faith. He fired back in his commentary Them thar are fightin' words. With so many untrustworthy CONciLIAR 'bishops' it's refreshing to see a true Bishop, a Traditional one at that with some backbone and we're happy to announce that His Excellency is not adverse to finally, yes finally, being willing to consecrate more true Bishops so there is hope on the horizon as he keeps all abreast on his Asian Journey. Also this past week we celebrated the feast of a man called the prophet of his people, none other than the Column of the Church St. Ephrem the Deacon Harp of the Holy ghost Finally, this past Tuesday was the start of the Nine-Day Novena utilizing the beautiful, powerful Devotions to Our Mother of Perpetual Help leading up to Our Lady's feast next Thursday.

This is the sixfth of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. The sixth reason is that for thy salvation Jesus is born anew into the world in a mystical manner whenever Holy Mass is celebrated.
This is the sixth of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number six: Because "Recent reforms have amply demonstrated that fresh changes in the liturgy could lead to nothing but complete bewilderment in the faithful who already show signs of uneasiness and lessening of Faith " as Alfredo Cardinal Ottaviani and Antonio CardinalBacci wrote in The Ottaviani Intervention in protesting Paul VI's abominable changes to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

Continuing our review of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout this summer, we bring you an essential difference between the True Mass and the Novus Ordo. Through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass the union of man with God is perfectly reached for through it Jesus Himself accomplishes this for man and only through the perpetuity of this Holy Sacrifice can the union continue for Christ is not only he Victim but also the Priest Who offers Himself as a sacrifice to His eternal Father, not for Him, but for us as He re-presents His oblation on the Cross to merit for us who worthily assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass the rewards of eternal life. That is why the Crucifix is such a reminder of the Holy Sacrifice and why Protestants opt for a plain cross as do many conciliar churches today or, in a compromise with the world, choose to avoid any sacrificial suffering by placing the resurrected Christ on the Cross failing to realize Our Lord's charge to take up our cross and follow Him daily and to strengthen us in our resolve to provide for us the means to obtaining graces through the perpetuation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Canonical Apostolic Traditional Latin Mass. Without it, there is no sacrifice, few graces. With and through the Holy Sacrifice the graces and miracles are limitless. The Graces and Values of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

This is the fifth of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. The fifth reason for graces received from assisting at the true Canonical Apostolic Traditional Latin Mass is for thy salvation God renews the saving mystery of the Incarnation.
This is the fifth of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number five: Because the difference between the two is not simply one of mere detail or just modification of ceremony, but "all that is of perennial value finds only a minor place (in the New Mass), if it subsists at all," which it cannot possibly be as Alfredo Cardinal Ottaviani and Antonio CardinalBacci wrote in The Ottaviani Intervention in protesting Paul VI's abominable changes to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

Continuing our review of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout this summer, we bring you an essential difference between the True Mass and the Novus Ordo. Contrary to the Vatican Two Modernists, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is not the Lutheran-oriented "Eucharistic Celebration" that passes today as the wretched Novus Ordo. Therefore we have a duty as true Catholics to reject that "abomination of desolation" and return to the true Traditional Latin Mass. It is the canonical Apostolic Mass of all time and will always and ever be considered the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Sadly, that is something the progressive Hegelians refuse to recognize, having gone out of their way to strip their version of any sacrificial nature in the New "Mass." In truth, it was all done to please Protestants while greatly angering God because man dared to believe he had a better idea than the Divine. What was that Pope St. Pius V wrote in his infallible decree Quo Primum? Oh, yes, anyone who dares to alter what was set in stone and is to be said in perpetuity "will incur the wrath of Almighty God and of the blessed Apostles Peter and Paul." The Sacrificial Aspect of the True Mass

This is the fourth of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. The fourth reason for graces received is that the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the ultimate sacrifice on Calvary, re-enacted in an unbloody mannerFor thy sake the Son of God comes down from Heaven and conceals Himself under the form of the Sacred Host.
This is the fourth of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number four: Because the New Mass represents "a striking departure from the Catholic theology of the Mass as formulated in Session XXII of the Council of Trent" which, in fixing the "canons," provided an "insurmountable barrier to any heresy against the integrity of the Mystery" as Alfredo Cardinal Ottaviani and Antonio CardinalBacci wrote in The Ottaviani Intervention in protesting Paul VI's abominable changes to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

As you know this past Monday we began the intention to emphasize the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout this summer. To refresh your memory and zeal, each day we'll continue to provide another reason for showing the graces one receives in assisting at the Traditional Latin Mass and conversely why one must never attend the Novus Ordo "abomination of desolation." To complement this we are going to review what we've published on the Holy Mass for each day this week with a new installment next Monday. Ever since Vatican Two the tabernacles have been disappearing, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass decimated in the same metaphoric fashion as that of the Macchabees and the French Revolution. By sacking the holy altars and replacing them with tables the Masonic movement went into full swing to denude the Catholic churches of not only its sacramentals and reminders of everything that is traditional, but through a false pope's edict, the divinely-ordained sacraments established by Christ and, in so doing, he invalidated from 1968 on the sacerdotals whose chief duty was to confect the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. However, without that power those ordained after 1968, despite their own priestly efforts, have remained helpless in effecting the sacramental graces and that has enabled satan to be firmly planted where Christ once reigned. But all is not lost for the true Church, though eclipsed by the counterfeit church of conciliarism, still exists and there you will find the true Presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity. The Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar

Today is Day Two of the nine day devotion leading up to the feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help next Thursday.

This is the third of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. For thy sake the Son of God comes down from Heaven and conceals Himself under the form of the Sacred Host.
This is the third of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number two: Because the New Mass leads us to think "that truths...can be changed or ignored without infidelity to that sacred deposit of doctrine to which the Catholic Faith is bound forever" as Alfredo Cardinal Ottaviani and Antonio CardinalBacci wrote in The Ottaviani Intervention in protesting Paul VI's abominable changes to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

Saint Ephrem the Deacon, the holy Doctor and saintly Syrian, who was the second chronologically to receive such a title following Saint Athanasius, was an early luminary of the Church. Today his homeland is in ruins because the people did not follow his example nor heed his holy advice. St. Ephrem was beloved by the faithful and one called the "Prophet of his people" and a deacon who combated heretical sects and Roman emperors, not by raising his voice in anger, but through Syriac poetry in winning the people to the Faith. His works are integral to the Syrian Church. In adherence to the Gospel, Ephrem reached out and cared for the least of his brethren leaving the 99 to go in search of the one who was lost. This dedication to the will of God and uncompromisingly living the Gospel to win souls to the Lord show why he was a clarion of clarity to those suffering from the confusion of the Arian heresy. He is affectionately known as the Harp of the Holy Ghost

Today we begin the nine day devotion leading up to the feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help.

This is the second of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. For thy salvation the Holy Ghost, the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, changes bread and wine into the true Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity.
This is the second of 62 reasons which were submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Reason number two: Because the changes were not just slight ones but actually "deal with a fundamental renovation... a total change... a new creation." (Archbishop Annibale Bugnini, the main conspirator in deconstructing the True Mass as the co-author of the New Order rite) As all can plainly see after 40 years of trial and tribulation is "the abomination of desolation.,,standing in the holy place" - Our Lord's words in Matthew 24: 14 warning us of this time that "he that readeth, let him understand."

Editor Michael Cain resumes his editorials with a response on behalf of those who are considered "stubborn" "out of touch" "determined to bring back the past" "committed to the ancient liturgy" and dedicated to "the disciplines, to things that in that moment took place" and which, in spite of the CONciLIAR cabal, we are determined to continue. You know things that so visibly annoyed one Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis who can't be bothered by sincere Catholics (even if they are duped by this faux pope) who were so concerned and considerate enough to offer 3,525 rosaries as a spiritual treasure for him. But then Who was it Who said you don't cast pearls before swine? Oh, yes, of course. It's time to take off the gloves and shove back. It's time to call Jorge what he really is: an apostate liar, a wolf, a devious one at that, in sheep's clothing who thinks he can pull the wool over the eyes of the faithful but there are some of us who will steadfastly resist, not because we recognize him. No that is impossible as we show via an infallible Papal decree in exposing him as a warlock, a heathen and worse. You want a war of words, Jorge, we'll take you on with the first volley that says we'll pray for you and offer so many rosaries you won't be able to count and while we're at it, we'll ask God to have mercy on your soul because God knows you're going to need it for what you will have to answer for and, as Cain relates, concerning what unFrancis has said, well... Them thar are fightin' words!

"Teaching them to observe whatsoever I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world."
St. Matthew 28: 20
"...because they receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error to believe a lie."
2 Thessalonians 2: 10

Today we begin a series throughout the summer in comparing the good with the bad, the Canonical Apostolic Traditional Latin Mass, the Mass of All Ages against the sacrilegious Protestant-Masonic Mess called the Novus Ordo foisted on the faithful by Paul the Sick in 1969 with the tragic results being the loss of faith in both clergy and congregant. While so many are confused, few search the reasons, few really know the Faith and, because they don't, they have lost or will lose the Faith. We want to be a deterrant to the descent toward the abyss and so we resume a series we ran several years ago, but is important to repeat for a whole new readership hungry for the truth. Thus we present side by side the effects of the True Mass and why you should flee from the Novus Ordo. After this, you can't say you weren't warned or didn't know. Thus we begin with reason number one.

This is the first of seventy-seven Graces derived from participation at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Mass of All Ages - the Latin Mass of the Roman Rite which was decreed to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope Saint Pius V in codifying the infallible decrees of the dogmatic Council of Trent. These graces are taken from Father Martin von Cochem's Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an imprimatur. For thy salvation God the Father sends His beloved Son down from Heaven at every Mass.
This is the first of 62 reasons, first submitted by the Priests of Campos and endorsed by the late great Bishop Castro de Mayer. Because the New Mass is not an unequivocal Profession of the Catholic Faith (which the Traditional Mass truly is), it is ambiguous and Protestant. Therefore, since we pray as we believe, (lex orandi, lex credendi) it follows that we cannot pray with the New Mass in Protestant Fashion and still believe as Catholics! Thus we see why this is reason number one.

In Bishop Richard Williamson's Eleison Comment #309 from Saturday, June 15, he acknowledges that readers have prompted him to respond, no doubt even Griff Ruby's response of Authority Misdirected and Mislead. It is good that Bishop Williamson is not close-minded to respectful criticism, unlike Bishop Fellay, and that he is taking Griff's advice to seek out worthy candidates to consecrate as Bishops to carry on the mission of the Church for since 1988, no SSPX Bishop has performed a consecration and it's well past due. What also is well past due is for the true Traditional Bishops to bury the hatchets and come together as one for the sake of souls. Yes, call it the "Resistance" as His Excellency does, but embrace both sedevacantist and non-sedevacantist in the mix for not only is there strength in numbers, but the goal remains the same, to rid the Church of any semblance of Vatican II. Rather than a farewell tour, we are happy to report it's game on for his tour is for the welfare of souls. While Edward Snowden might be in hiding in China, Bishop Williamson is very visible and making the right moves on the board to avoid zugzwang. Asian Journey

John Gregory provides the commentary for the Fourth Sunday after Pentecost which offiially begins the "Green" season in reference to the vestments throughout the Time after Pentecost. Father George Leo Haydock became famous for compiling the Fathers' and Doctors' discernment and incorporating it into the Douay-Rheims version of the New Testament. For this Sunday the theme is that we will groan in and struggle in pain within ourselves while waiting for redemption as St. Paul relates in today's Epistle and in the Gospel those creatures swimming in the sea of fallen human nature in this world can only be rescued through the grace of God via those whom He has sent to reel in souls as fishers of men. Fishers of Souls

There are many devotions we can practice throughout the day, but one of the most efficacious of these, besides the holy Rosary, is the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which Karl D. Keller is anxious to share with all. There are various versions - long ones and short ones - dedicated to Our Lady and it is the intention here to share the approved devotion with Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur from over a century ago with readers. Here is presented the eighth and final hour of the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary: Compline, which was first introduced in the early 7th Century by St. Benedict and the word is derived from the Latin completorium, meaning the completion as in the completion of the day for the night has descended, the moon ascended. You'll note at the end of Compline the Our Father, Hail Mary and Credo are said in silence and from that point on it was customary to keep silent through the night until time for Matins and a new day at midnight. While it is not part of the Office, the time of silence provides an excellent opportunity to finish up with an examination of conscience and an Act of Contrition before retiring after Compline: Completing the Day

In back to back Doctors of the Church, today the Church celebrates another of the magnificent luminaries God rose up in the 4th century. The holy bishop and Doctor of the Church Saint Basil the Great also faced the intense persecutions and calumnies of the Arian bishops and suffered greatly, never complaining and living a life of austerity while his fellow Arian bishops lived high on the hog. Like his good life-long friend and fellow Doctor of the Church St. Gregory Nazianzen, he,too, came from holy stock and had two brothers who became bishops; a father, mother and sister who became saints. This Bishop of Caesarea is one of the few, along with Popes St. Leo I and St. Gregory I and St. Albert to be given the august title "Magnus" - great. For a profile of this holy Bishop and Doctor, see the Orator of Orthdoxy

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a brief but informative six-minute sermon given in 2008 by Bishop Daniel Dolan for the feast of the holy Bishop and Doctor of the Church St. Basil the Great, who, as His Excellency responds felt he wasn't doing enough and yet he became one of the greatest to wear the purple robes ever for St. Basil the Great faced his fears with the courage of grace and realized no one could defeat him for his goal was Heaven and to threaten him would only encourage him further to love God and share the Faith while soundly refuting any heretics who sought to intimidate and threatene him. The results show the successful fruits of his efforts as Bishop Dolan illustrates that we don't have to worry if we're successful if, like Basil, we do the will of God in following the example of St. Basil the Great

The holy Doctor St. Anthony is often depicted holding the Christ Child in such a loving, gentle manner, yet he was not so gentle on those who sought to deceive the faithful through heresy. When he died at age 36, church bells rang throughout Italy, in many with no human person ringing the bells. People attributed the bellringers to the angels who had come to earth to ring them as children wailed in the streets crying aloud, "Our dear father, Anthony is dead." But his spirit and on-going miraculous wonders have lived on for nearly 8 centuries. He's the patron saint of the poor and oppressed, the one many pray to when something or someone is lost. He so wanted to convert the Moors and was willing to be martyred. Where are the St. Anthonys today when the infidels are overrunning Christianity? Take a cue from the Hammer of Heretics

Griff Ruby responds to Bishop Williamson's surprising announcement, which we carried last week in our "Miters that Matter" feature, that His Excellency is available only for tending to souls wherever they call on him, but will not pursue organizing a group to magnify the missionary work of bringing the true Faith to more souls because he supposedly thinks he does not have the authority to do so. Griff respectfully challenges him that he indeed does have the authority and to not use it is akin to cowering from his calling. Griff pulls no punches in explaining why His Excellency cannot ignore those who want nothing to do with Bishop Fellay's groups because of the latter's intentions to coddle to conciliar interests. It matters not what the conciliar clerics say for they have no authority and His Excellency must realize that. He cannot fall back on that excuse while so many are bailing on Fellay who wants his own bail-out from the Modernists to legitimize the Society. What the British prelate must realize is that he and all the Traditional Bishops have all the authority but their credibility suffers from either doing nothing or stradling the fence for so many years that often times they don't know which moves to make in order to checkmate the true enemies of the Faith as Girff points out in Authority Misdirected and Mislead

Delving further into the meaning of "No Salvation Outside the Church", John Gregory believes it's time to shut the door completely on the heretical drivel from the far right (Feeneyites) and the left (Conciliar Church hierarchy led by Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis) for both camps forget or ignore the wisdom and logic of the Fathers, Saints, Doctors, Popes, Councils, and Theologians of the Church. While one does not have to be "Catholic" to be saved, one cannot be Protestant or any other false religion and be saved by that sect. One can only be saved through the Catholic Church, the only one, by the way, which Jesus Christ the Son of God established and assured that the gates of hell would not prevail against it. Though the devil has lashed at Her foundations, Her roots are deep and She will stand regardless of the beating She has taken over the last half century, very similar to the scourging that Our Lord endured during His Passion which made Him practically unrecognizable. Yet, He was still the same Person. So also the true Church remains the same despite being eclipsed by the devil's agents as John explains in his followup to part one with the Definition of Faith for the Dogma Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus

In Bishop Richard Williamson's Eleison Comment #308 from Saturday, June 8, he begins a series on the precarious plunge of 'popes', prelates, and priests and the populace that followed the Pied Pipers' putrified path including, in the past 15 years, the Society of St. Pius X under its superior general Bishop Bernard Fellay. With a forgiving heart without rancor, Bishop Williamson points out that while we cannot judge-condemn what is in men's heart, we must judge-discern men's actions and words using, as we would say the old axiom, "If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and waddles like a duck, well, what else can it be but a duck!?" Previous true Popes realized this and were quick to warn against evil and the steps that would lead to the rapid descent of society in an attempt to destroy holy Mother Church. Popes Leo XIII and St. Pius X did all they could to stem the tide, but lurking beneath were the mallards of Modernism intent on flooding the flocks with feathers filled with dung, which rose to the surface in the sixties with Vatican II, stinking up all that has been held sacred as His Excellency offers part one of the Horrible Fall -- I

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a sixteen-minute sermon given last year on the Third Sunday after Pentecost by Father Michael Oswalt, assistant pastor at Mount St. Michael's in Spokane. He reminds us of how powerful our enemy devil is and why we must be vigilant and sober, steadfast in the faith because we are vulnerable to him if think we can fight him by ourselves. We need God's grace and mercy, and thus cannot afford to be lax or the devil will penetrate our castles and our fortress will be demolished through mortal sin. God, in His mercy gives us so many chances and loves the sinner but hates the sin. So should we or we will be devoured as St. Peter warns in his epistle. Father shows how God extends His protection through the confessional and how all of Heaven rejoices over the return of a sinner. If we do not take advantage of this infirmary of Divine Mercy, we will not have enough ammo to fend off the roaring lion away and will be devoured. Finally, Father concludes that we need to submit to His will and honor Him and work on our salvation with fear and trembling since it is our urgent duty out of love for our Creator as Father explains in his sermon on Be Steadfast In The Faith

John Gregory provides the commentary for the Third Sunday after Pentecost which is always the Sunday within the Octave of the Sacred Heart. Father George Leo Haydock became famous for compiling the Fathers' and Doctors' discernment and incorporating it into the Douay-Rheims version of the New Testament. For this Sunday we encounter one of the most oft quoted passages of Sacred Scripture, the eighth verse of chapter five of the first epistle of St. Peter whereby Christ's chosen first Pope employs the imagery of the devil being like a roaring lion always on the prowl to devour souls. That is why it ties in so well with today's Gospel of the rejoicing of one sinner returning to the fold. With satan roaming it truly is a victory worth celebrating when a soul is saved from this savage unearthly beast. Redemption

Here is presented the seventh hour of the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary: Vespers, which is Evensong and, before the evening meal, is usually prayed at 6 p.m. in concert with the Angelus or Regini Coeli in Paschal time. We see here that the tone changes from that of the Little Hours throughout the day. No longer do we focus on waiting for deliverance, but upon the arrival of the Messias and those instruments God so chose including His Immaculate Mother, St. Joseph and the Saints while still utilizing the Psalms of David in this next to last hour of the day. Karl presents The Vibe of Vespers

John Gregory documents how the Heart of God has always been held in special esteem. Many are under the assumption that the Sacred Heart didn't come into devotion until our Lord appeared to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, but Sacred Scripture and the example of David who put his heart into action for the Heart of God, shows that the Heart of God has always been the portal to true Love. Without It, one enters a black hole that one may not be able to escape unless one has love for God, and subsequently, because of that, his neighbor. One cannot attain everlasting life without love. That love begins and ends with the Most Sacred Heart Whose love knows no bounds; Whose love can move mountains; Whose love can melt the coldest of hearts, soften the hardest; Whose love was so great that God gave of His Heart that in His human nature His love included suffering and dying on the cross - no greater love doth anyone have than to give His life that we might have eternal life. That's what the Sacred Heart is all about and no leader of men or nations will ever be successful until they realizes that as John explains in. The Heart of the Matter

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a twelve-minute sermon given last year by Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, Rector of St. Joseph Seminary at the City of Mary in Rathdrum, Idaho. Devotion is so important for God has saved this devotion for the latter times. Though Catholics knew of His loving Heart, it did not become public until the 1670's. Images of the Sacred Heart show us the fire emitting form His Heart to show His love. The flames are surmounted by the Cross represents His ultimate sacrifice and the Heart is surrounded by thorns to show that His entire life was one of self denial and suffering. He loves us so much and there is so little love in return. The idea of the Sacred Heart entails reparation and it should pain us that anyone does not love Him and we should love Him enough to do what we can to bring others to Him, which will please Him greatly. After all is that not the greatest love we can give Him. Father explains in his sermon on The Sacred Heart of Jesus

In Book Four of Chapters Forty-One through Forty-Three of the Prophesies and Revelations of the holy mystic St. Bridget of Sweden are short, but powerful as the Blessed Mother counsels the daughter on how priests with lawful faculties of absolution, no matter what kind of sinners they themselves are, are able to absolve from sins; the same applies to the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. You'll note Our Lady said those "with lawful faculties of absolution." Since those ordained in Paul the Sick's new man-made rite since 1968 do not have said lawful faculties of absolution it would negate seeking such out for many of these cause scandal and bar souls from seeking God in His Church. Those who maintain their apostasy are like worms who care little for the damage they have left behind. So also bad pastors care little for the welfare of souls, only that they gain temporal treasure and titles in this life. Woe to the worms

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you an eleven-minute sermon given in 2008 to the children by Bishop Daniel Dolan for the feast of St. Norbert who was a friend of St. Bernard of Clairvaux. He turned from the world after a life-changing miraculous event that prompted him to turn fully to God and became an archbishop in Germany, then in Antwerp, Belgium where the heretics railed against the Mass and Sacraments, St. Norbert stepped in and called for reparation and, like St. Francis Caracciolo, established adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and is often depicted before the Monstrance of the True Presence of Jesus Christ. His work bore great fruits and set an example for generations to come as we see in the life of St. Norbert

Those who were hoping Bishop Richard Williamson would form a new Society to offset the rogue Bishop Fellay's organization are in for a disappointment as His Excellency announced in his 307th Eleison Comments where he states he's basically Palladin - that fictional character from "Have Gun - Will Travel" - for he is, in essence, a bishop for hire to minister to souls, not to organize a new society for he believes he has no authority to do so. While we strongly disagree with him on this, we publish it here to give his point of view on it. What is sad about this particular Comment is that he still recognizes the CONciLIAR cabal as legitimate. Uh, apostates are not Catholic and therefore have no authority. We know that his former confrere Fellay is hoodwinked by the same thinking and is attempting to appease the charlatans for the specific purpose of gaining the authorization, which, has we stated, is impossible. Yet, His Excellency here believes it cannot be cured. Oh, if only he would remember Christ's words in St. Matthew 19: 26 and St. Mark 10: 27 for he is one of the few prelates left who does indeed have the authority to avoid a stalemate. He, along with all the other true Traditional bishops have the authority and duty to checkmate the Modernists and allow the true consecrated prelates to clear the board of apostasy. Authority Crippled

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a thirteen-minute sermon given in 2009 to the children by Bishop Daniel Dolan for the feast of the holy Bishop and Martyr St. Boniface who is known as the Apostle of Germany. His Excellency encourages that we are all missionaries for the true Faith in these times. Unlike today's milquetoast CONciLIAR clerics, the English monk Winfred would not compromise and, with Pope Gregory II's permission and with a name given to him by His Holiness of Boniface meaning "doing good", he dared the pagans of Germany to put up or shut up when he took an axe to the so-called 'sacred' oak tree. When their 'gods' did not retaliate, the pagans realized they'd been duped and were open to conversion by St. Boniface's words and embraced a love for the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Later in years he was martyred by soldiers who opposed his work and fostered violence. Bishop Dolan compares St. Boniface to the paralyzed man of the gospels who ingeniously was able to see Jesus through innovation and thinking, if you will, outside the box. Without imagination and the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, Boniface would have failed. Thus, if we are open to the divine Will we can confidently go forward without fear to lead others to our Lord just as did St. Boniface

Griff Ruby takes a break from his regular series to share something he wrote in the past for The Four Marks on what many may not have ever considered, even Webster's Dictionary, but they should. Griff advances that the word 'pope' is not just a noun but also a verb for that is the action he describes in non-Catholics 'crossing the Tiber' in converting to Catholicism. While the apostates occupy the Vatican today, Rome will always remain the symbolic seat of the Church, the only one founded by Christ and those Protestants, who are wooed over to the Novus Ordo sect within the constrained confines of the conciliar church, will soon learn that there really is nothing different from what they left. Whereas, if they take the time to study the Fathers of the Church and truly learn the beauty of the Catholic Faith and all the infrangible truths She has always embraced, they will learn where the true Church resides and pope themselves into that Church. Griff explains in "Poping" in a Popeless Era

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a ten-minute sermon to the children by Bishop Daniel Dolan for the feast of the holy priest St. Francis Carraciolo who was a fierce defender of the Faith against the Donatist heresy and convinced many to abandon their schismatic ways and return to the true fold in the 16th century. Through a mistake, he became a priest that turned out to be the best "mistake" he ever made as countless souls can attest to today in Heaven. He began perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the perfect saint to honor during this time within the Octave of Corpus Christi. He was on fire with the love of God and to this day remaining incorrupt is the body of St. Francis Caracciolo

John Gregory dovetails from the Membership in the Mystici Corporis to a primer on the chief dogma of the Church which has been reinforced over the ages ever since Christ bestowed the keys of the kingdom upon Peter for His Church, which alone is the only way to salvation. The Christian Church He instituted is truly One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic, which should not be, no, make that must not be confused with the Protestant churches who call themselves Christian. They have eschewed the Primacy of Peter and therefore cut themselves off from the true vine. What we have today are weeds cut off from the vine, some 33,000 different species (sects). That would include the church formed from Vatican II (also called the Conciliar church or Novus Ordo church) that also broke away by veering from Catholic truth. One cannot be paddling about in your own boat on the water and still say that you are safely on the Barque of Peter. However, one can still be saved by the water of Baptism (fluminis), desire (flaminis), or blood (sanguinis) and no Feeneyite can dispute or interpret that the Church ever decreed one could only be saved by water. That should sink their argument as John presents part one of No Salvation Outside the Church

John Gregory provides the commentary for the Second Sunday after Pentecost from Father George Leo Haydock found in many Douay-Rheims version of the New Testament. In the short, the powerfully poignant and pertinent words in today's paragraphs from our Lord's mouth give us knowledge that He reaches out to the most disadvantage of souls for His mercy knows no bounds, but those who reject Him, who decide they do not want to partake at His banquet will find no comfort nor a place at the table. Wise words for those who are starving for the true Faith and feel the emptiness in the novus ordo. Leave the scraps and rotting menu of misery and come to the true banquet - the Traditional Latin Mass where the Holy Sacrifice is celebrated by true priests, men who have not rejected Christ's invitation. True Catholics do not hate their neighbor but love him out of their love for God as St. Paul relates in today's Epistle and one who has such love wants his neighbor to partake in the banquet offered by the Lord. The Charity of God

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a twelve-minute VIDEO sermon by Fr. Charles McGuire, pastor of St. Hugh's Traditional Roman Catholic parish in Milwaukee for the feast of Corpus Christi, which is celebrated in churches today with a commemoration for the Second Sunday after Pentecost and then a procession of the Blessed Sacrament following the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Father is sharing with the children the importance of the the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ truly present in the Holy Eucharist and how in the CONciLIAR church it has been so abused because it is not really Jesus present because they have no way of confecting the Sacrament because of the apostasy inherent since Vatican II. He explains in his video sermon on Corpus Christi

Here Karl presents the sixth hour of the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary: None, which means "nine" and is said at the very same time that Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gave up the ghost and descended into the Bosom of Abraham to release those souls lingering in Limbo since the time of Adam and Eve. Every three hours an office is said and thus, despite the nomenclature of none, this is the actually the "Sixth Hour." Confused again? As always holy Mother Church has a method to Her madness, if you will, for the Office of None is the fourth of the four short offices called "The Little Hours" as explained in The 3 o'clock Hour of None

Those who have not made five consecutive First Saturdays, which entails confessing one's sins to a true priest, assisting at a true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, receiving Holy Communion, reciting a Rosary of at least five decades, spending at least fifteen minutes of meditation on the fifteen mysteries of the holy Rosary, and all with the intention of making reparation to Mary's Immaculate Heart, should do so. The reasons, which Our Lord imparted to the Fatima visionary Sister Maria of the Sorrows (Lucia Santos) in 1925 and 1930, are to make reparation for the blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception, Our Lady's virginity, her divine maternity, the indifference and scorn against Mary. If one cooperates with these graces you have a better opportunity of Heaven, saving other sinners and bringing peace in the world. The consecration of Russia will have to wait until we have a true pope again, but as we know "with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
