November is the month we commemorate the meaning of the Communion of Saints when we observe All Saints and All Souls. God has created a cycle which guarantees a 'win-win' situation. We as the Church Militant offer Prayer and Praise to the Church Triumphant in return for Intercession and Graces. In turn we offer Suffrages and Indulgences for the Church Suffering and they offer Prayer and Gratitude, given Intercession and Relief by the Heavenly Saints. Thus all are members of the Mystical Body of Christ as Paul affirms in Romans 12: 5, "So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one, members of one another." It takes teamwork, all working together for the greater honor and glory of God. Heroic Acts of Charity for the poor souls is one way we can contribute. The rewards are everlasting!

The Council of Chalcedon
Twenty years after Ephesus, Saint Pulcheria played a key role in the fourth General Council; this time influencing her husband Marcian, then the Roman Emperor of the East, to coordinate with Pope Saint Leo the Great in convening it at Chalcedon in Thessalonica just northwest of Constantinople. Once again a false teaching was at the heart of the meeting. This time Monophysitism (the false teaching that Christ had only one nature) was at the forefront of controversy. It was taught by the Abbot Eutyches who also sought discord, causing confusion so that the Council asserted that Constantinople should be on an equal basis with Rome ecclesiastically. Vigorously opposing this and Eutyches, Pope Leo determined in his Dogmatic Epistle of October 10, 451 that the See of Peter in Rome is and always shall be the Seat of Primacy with no equal and that Eutyches was a heretic. Leo was proclaimed the 'Soul of Chalcedon' and the Council agreed unanimously that through Leo, Peter had spoken and Eutyches was condemned. Christ or chaos
Dr. Tom Droleskey continues his series on G.I.R.M. Warfare. He points out GIRM's norms for the Novus Ordo go against the advice of past papal decrees including Pope Pius XII's Mediator Dei. The subtraction of much that was inherent in the Traditional Roman Rite Mass has only added up to more confusion for the congregants at the New Mass and opened a whole new can of worms by interpreting Sacred Scripture. Dr. Frank Joseph challenges these avowed pro-aborts to at least be honest. If they're for killing in the womb, then call a spade a spade, but don't camoflage it as something noble. An Open Letter to Planned Parenthood, NARAL and NOW

Standing with the Church Militant On the BattleLine
Atila Sinke Guimarães traces the Revolution of evil from the Middle Ages when many in the Revolution abandoned the universal kingship of Christ as King. He reminds readers of the symbolism of the Crown, especially in reference to the Reign of Mary when her Immaculate Heart will triumph as promised at Fatima. The Symbol of the Crown in the Reign of Mary
Catholic PewPOINT

Answer to last quiz: While many assumed the phrase "The floor of hell is paved with the skulls of bishops" was said by the author of Dante's Inferno - Aligheri Dante or Martin Luther because of his bitterness towards the Church, in actuality that statement was made by the uncompromising Patriarch of Constantinople - the golden-mouthed preacher Saint John Chrysostom, who, like Saint Augustine, is a Bishop and Doctor of the Church. If he was referring to how bad the bishops of the late fourth century were, how much moreso today when so many prelates have compromised with the world, the flesh and the devil? Pray for the bishops that they will realize the truths of St. John's words and pray for the many abandoned bishops in Purgatory during the month of November.
