Who was this giant of the Faith? In honor of the Traditional Feast on Wednesday, September 3rd of this saintly Roman Pontiff, we present a detailed biography of the man - the kind of shepherd so sorely missing today. We can only hope and pray that someday, in God's time, we will once again have a shepherd devoted to upholding the Apostolic Traditions as St. Pius X was and who did all in his power to safeguard the Sacred Deposit of the Faith For more about this cardinal from northern Italy, see St. Pius X

We also recommend the various articles on one of the most holy of Popes available in Catholic Family News for August. And the following prayer we reprint from the August 31st issue of The Remnant:
    Prayer to St. Pius X
St. Pius X, pray for us.
    Pray for the Church,
So beleaguered on every side and from within by all Her enemies.
Pray for all the faithful who hold to the traditions
And to the dogmas of the Faith.
May they be strong and persevere in such troubling times.
And in the face of so many errors, abuses, corruptions and vices, contradictions, ambiguities, delusions, deceptions, subterfuges, outright lies, oppositions, persecutions, abominations and desolations.
Pray for the hierarchy, the bishops and the priests,
That they may soon return to their flocks and feed them and lead them to green pastures.
And pray for the Roman Pontiff, that he soon return to the task,
The mission, the imperative, the sanity and the glory
Of the Restoration of All Things in Christ. Amen.

The summer of turmoil and unrest passes the baton to the autumn of deception and the further implementation of the One World Order, not far away from the winter of discontent as satan's days grow fewer - thankfully. But before his head is crushed by the heel of Our Blessed Mother there is a trial of fire we must all pass through and the embers scorching at our toes right now indicates, all too clearly, that this time foretold is nigh. Events over the past few years and last few weeks, even days have borne testimony to this. The escalation of the Vatican II agenda even in the face of overwhelming statistics of utter failure is more evidence that the inmates are running the asylum better known as "Stalag 62" or the new Vatican. Truly it is a time for sack-cloth and ashes, and yet, the Vatican II proletariat pushes on with the utopian humanistic agenda. Cain takes examples from the past few days and weeks to indict the Iconoclasts of Ill-will, Idiocy and Insanity!
    Traditional Insights
Mario Derksen completes his thorough multi-part series on the controversy that still seems to surround "the illicit Episcopal Ordinations of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre." This pertains to the society named after the saintly Pontiff, whose feast we celebrate this week. Were it not for His Excellency in the face of tremendous opposition, the ideals of St. Pius X could well have been suppressed even moreso. Mario wraps up his twelve-part series by debunking the rubbish and inane reasoning of neo-Catholics who flail around in their feeble, nay desperate, frantic attempts to justify the unjustifiable as Mario so aptly illustrates in part twelve of his series : Conclusion
    Pro Life Prescriptions
Dr. Frank Joseph's is livid how low American society has sunk. Thanks to the Democrats, liberal, radical Godless judges have populated the courts and effected the reality of legislating God out of existence. The unlawful holocaust in the womb continues unabated, masqueraded as a "woman's right" while the sodomite insanity is steamrolling through legislatures for fear of offending this vast minority who have forfeited all rights by their beligerent disobedience of God's natural laws. To cover all this up, the ACLU has been successful as satan's harbinger in removing the Ten Commandments from Judge Roy Moore's courthouse. Who is next? Dr. Frank lambasts those who would even consider compromising with the atheists and pagans and warns that the trial of the ages is coming down to The United States vs. God
     Exspectans exspectavimus Ecclesia Dei
Bishop Richard Williamson checks in with his final letter before his reassignment to an Argentina Seminary in South America after 21 years as rector of St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Winona, Minnesota. He shares a whimsical poem in which, in his own inimitable way, he expresses much emotion. On the serious side, in his 'last hurrah' of encouragement to American Traditional Catholics, he urges all to stay the course in holding true to the Apostolic Traditions of Holy Mother Church as he stresses Persevere in the Truth.
    Traditio
We cannot recommend highly enough the daily comments of Father Moderator who provides one of the best no-nonsense sites for Traditional Catholics at Traditio.com. Here Father Moderator separates the wheat from the chaff with no-holds barred candidness in keeping the faithful abreast daily with feedback and comments of all that is happening in the Church today. Besides the best available list of Latin Masses throughout the country, Father tells it like it is, never pulling punches in punching holes in all the charade that is the Vatican II church as you'll see in Traditio.com
    White Smoke, Black Fire!
In the fourth episode of Chapter Eleven of The Shrouding, Stephen is taken away in handcuffs by two Swiss Guards who the Monsignor deduces are Macelli's men. He fears they are taking him to the basement where Sister Bridie has already been tied up and interrogated. All seems lost until the guards escort him to a room where they reveal the purpose of the arrest. Meanwhile, the perfidious Elena Grabe discovers the reeking dead body of the misguided Father Urazzi, but not the failed traitor Sargeant Kutsch who has left Urazzi's office with a splitting headache thanks to Stephen's quick action earlier in the afternoon. To the west within the Apostolic Palace in the Sala Regia the lobbying has begun to cajole votes for railroading through Macelli's agenda of adding 40 progressive bishops to the cardinalate in a supposed preconized by Pope Clement XV. Without the Papal Seal, there is no proof the Holy Father intended such a thing and Cardinal Gregory Zachmunn is wise to the tactics of the evil one as we discover in Part IV, Chapter Eleven, Episode Four.

PAPAL PROOF OF WHAT THE CHURCH TRULY TEACHES
For those who truly want to delve deeper into what the Faith teaches and what past Sovereign Pontiffs have decreed, we recommend for your vital reading to better KNOW THE FAITH in order to KEEP THE FAITH, pertinent Encyclicals and Papal Bulls which put to the lie what is being promulgated today by the Vatican II church. We strongly encourage you to read these to understand how today the modern church is in Apostasy when compared to what had always been taught by Holy Mother Church and enforced and warned as most grievous by previous Pontiffs. It is obvious in CREDO & CULTURE

SUNDAY August 31 Proper for the Mass of the Twelfth Sunday After Pentecost

In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Twelfth Sunday After Pentecost, he shows how the conspiracy that many swore could never happen has, and that many might despair of what has been lost. In explaining briefly how society has become so gullible along with the modern church of Vatican II, Father holds up the Gospel of Luke to show how the Good Samaritan will assure that the infernal robbers will not triumph over Christ's Holy Church as Father explains in his sermon "Pouring in oil and wine"

SUNDAY, September 7    Proper for the Mass of the Thirtenth Sunday After Pentecost

In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Thirteenth Sunday After Pentecost, he exposes the heresies so rampant today regarding the contradiction to Catholic Doctrine on the completion of the Old Testament. The Church has always taught that the Old Covenant was fulfilled and replaced with the New Testament beginning with Christ. Yet the new dogma, which is espoused in direct confrontation to St. Paul's warnings of 'anathema,' is that "the perfidious Jews" - as was always the prayer for them on Good Friday - can continue in their mistaken, heretical and damned ways despite Christ's confirmation in Mark 16: 15-16 that those who do not believe and are not baptized will not be saved. No, those who reject the Sacraments, who reject Christ will "be condemned." One could not say it any clearer, yet the Vatican II progressives seek to obliterate everything that went before 1960 and ally themselves with those who do not believe, while turning their wrath on those within the bosom of Christ who stand by the dogma "Extra Ecclesia Nulla Salus" as Father points out in his sermon "Who then can be saved?"

"The denial of Truth is just as fatal to the mind as the denial of light is to vision. Truth in its fullness is not easy to attain, even if one does admit its existence. To explore Truth in all its complexity there must come moments when we confess ignorance, when we frankly admit that we were mistaken or bigoted, or prejudiced. These admissions are painful, but they actually enrich character just as much as all approximations to falsehood forfeit it."             Bishop Fulton J. Sheen
