    Second Vatican Council

The last of the Ecumenical Councils was, indeed, the most controversial for the ambiguous language of the documents opened a Pandora's Box to allow Church leaders and others to interpret dogma and doctrine in a Protestant light with an emphasis on humanism, ecumenism, religious liberty, and collegiality in an effort to conform to the modern world rather than the world adhering to what the Church had always taught. This year we commemorate the 40th anniversary of this council convened by Pope John XXIII on October 11, 1962 and, despite the latter's pleas to "Stop the Council!", it was carried on by his successor Paul VI for three more years, closing on December 8, 1965 and unleashing, by Paul's own admission, the "Smoke of satan into the sanctuary." Since then errors have spread universally and the Church has been in turmoil. For an overview to the documents see SECOND VATICAN COUNCIL

Catholic PewPOINT Today editor Michael Cain continues his series on the analogy of the Mystical Body of Christ with the sorrowful mysteries as he completes the third sorrowful mystery - the Crowning of Thorns. He equates this ignominous humiliation of the Body of Christ with the sacrilegious, scandalous and pseudo Novus Ordo Secolorum" 'Mass' that is eerily closer to the blasphemous Masonic Mass than the Traditional Latin Mass. He proves this by exposing the elements of a Masonic Mass so the reader can see without a shadow of a doubt that the Novus Ordo is patterned on a mockery of all that is holy. He intends to shake the thunders of Catholic consciousness by reasserting what Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger affirmed in "The New Mass is the Real Destruction of the Roman Rite!"
    On the BattleLine
In this issue Atila Sinke Guimarães gives documented proof that every Roman Catholic has the responsibility before God to resist the Pope when he is in error. He bases this Catholic teaching on great saints and Doctors of the Church like St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Robert Bellarmine, as well as other scholars of the Church. He points out how those who rightfully adhere to principle but reject unorthodox authority have been smeared by the brainwashed masses to consider those who resist error as 'outside the Church' when in truth, they are very much in the Church - the True Church. Those who follow heresy? Well, in the past they were called 'Protestants!' Atila sets the record straight in his column Catholics have a Duty to Resist the Pope When he is In Error
Pio Nono restores the See of Utrecht
On this date 149 years ago in 1853, Blessed Pope Pius IX, 255th successor of Peter, recovered the Catholic hierarchy in the Netherlands, reestablishing Utrecht as the See of Holland where Catholicism flourished until the last thirty years where it has floundered badly because of liberal theology that has decimated the faith there thanks to the reforms of Vatican II. At one time the Netherlands were one of the most Catholic countries. Today sadly, as another manifestation of the barren fruits of Vatican II, it is a parched wasteland for the True Faith.

Prayer for the Third Monday in Lent

Pour forth in Thy mercy, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that as we abstain from carnal food, may we also restrain our senses from harmful excesses. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, One God world without end. Amen.

Tract for today's Holy Mass taken from Psalm 102: 10

Safeguarding the Sacred Deposit of the Faith
"And we ourselves experience this, that when we enter ornate and clean Basilicas, adorned with crosses, sacred images, altars, and burning lamps, we most easily conceive devotion. But on the other hand, when we enter the temple of the heretics, where there is nothing except a chair for preaching and a wooden table for making a meal, we feel ourselves to be entering a profane hall and not the house of God."
      Saint Robert Bellarmine

    COMING TOMORROW:

    Traditional Thoughts
On Tuesday we bring you an excellent article by Peter Miller, editor of www.Seattle Catholic.com on the lack of belief in the True Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. It is no riddle and very evident why such heresy is so rampant. The Bishops know as well, but they don't seem to be in a hurry to correct it. The only answer is to return to the tried and true Mass of All Ages - the Tridentine Mass that leaves no doubt whatsoever as to the True Presence of Jesus, Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. The fact they refuse to do so, even at the expense of so many souls speaks volumes as to their intent as Peter explains in The Eucharistic Heresy of Modern Catholics .

    FOCUS
On Tuesday we will focus on part two of a two-part interview with the Church's chief exorcist Father Gabriele Amorth who does not mince words in describing the situation today in the Church, especially in the Vatican itself for he acknowledges that satan has indeed penetrated the hallowed halls and infected countless souls by his insidious campaign to corrupt Holy Mother Church. Though Fr. Amorth points out in a candid conversation first published in 30 Days last June that Christ has assured us"the gates of hell shall not prevail against it", the devil is trying and for Fr. Amorth and others conferred with the very grave responsibility of performing exorcism often times their own hands are being tied, another sign that satan is truly active within the Church as you'll see in a very candid and revealing interview conducted by Stefano Maria Paci in part two of The smoke of satan in the house of the Lord
    White Smoke, Black Fire!
In episode two of Chapter Seven in Part II - "The Smoldering" - we see the dark side of the Basilisk, the plotting of principals in the Legion whose pride swells with such insolence and overconfidence in their victories to this point. Now more subterfuge is afoot from Dallas to Rome.
    LATER THIS WEEK:

    Pro Life Prescriptions
Wednesday Dr. Frank Joseph identifies the problem with why obscene productions are repeated at numerous so-called Catholic colleges, why they condone dances for sodomites and why abortion continues unabated while so-called Catholic politicians and bishops with no backbone or true sense of Catholic truth continue status quo. He calls them what they are: CINNERS which rhymes with SINNERS! Dr. Frank explains in his uncompromising column titled The Great Scandal

    Exspectans exspectavimus Ecclesia Dei
Bishop Richard Williamson laments the fall of the Campos Traditionalists in a candid comment about the agreement between Modern Rome and the Priestly Fraternity of Saint John Marie Vianney. He points out the repercussions they will eventually face in compromising principle and Catholic truth for the 'privilege' of being recognized by Modern Rome and agreeing to a cease fire in asserting the Truths and Traditions that were suppressed by the reforms of Vatican II. While on the surface reunion with Rome might seem idyllic, in truth it is a surrender, a betrayal of the man who fought so hard and long to preserve the True Faith in Campos - Bishop Castro de Mayer - as Bishop Williamson explains in Campos has fallen
    Simply Sheen
For Lent Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen continues to talk about suffering and the reasons why God allows it. He uses the example of the bad and the good thief who died with Christ on Golgotha. The Bishop points out how one deals his pain with bitterness, the other offers it up in retribution for his and other sins, asking only for mercy. His sins were forgiven and, as Bishop Sheen relates "the thief died a thief! For he stole Paradise; Paradise can be stolen again" as he explains in One thief's soul was stolen; the other stole into Paradise .
    Echoes of True Catholicism
On Thursday Dr. Marian Horvat will point out that Lent means fast, but for modern Catholics fast means 'fast-food' and therein she sees the difference in modern thinking as she illustrates how the flag of stability waved warmly over sit-down family meals which equated more with Catholic culture. However, today's fast-food fetish where one can pick and choose whatever they want equates to Protestantism where moving from one thing to another fits more with the ideology of those who have no roots as she will explain in her column Fast-Food is Protestant!
    Precious Gift of our Faith
This Thursday we continue a beautiful catechetical apologetic series taken from The Glories and Triumphs of the Catholic Church on the true meaning of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The 262nd installment continues an enthralling, truly inspiring and enlightening understanding of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass like you never realized before. After you read this, you will clamor for the return of the Mass of All Ages for only in the Tridentine Rite is its fullness realized. You will see the Mass as it was always intended and why the Council of Trent and the First Vatican Council in their infallible wisdom settled on this most perfect propitiatory sacrifice to uniquely and purposely represent every aspect of Christ as we present a summarized outline of The Perfect Plan of the Mass
    The Great Sacrilege
Father James F. Wathen, O.S.J. has granted permission to publish his entire work which was first published by Tan Books in 1972, and which we urge you to read for everything he wrote back then is backed by the solid depositum fidei - the Sacred Deposit of the Faith and still holds true. It takes up where the Ottaviani Intervention left off as you'll see in Thursday's issue when Father continues to get down to the serious violations perpetrated on the faithful, explaining in Part Eleven of Chapter Four the second part over the issue of Validity and Liceity
    Christ or chaos
This coming Friday Dr. Thomas Droleskey takes a three-week break from his series on G.I.R.M. Warfare, to focus on the glaring differences between the Old Roman Rite observed for centuries and the New Roman Rite that is like a chameleon. While some may think the only difference between the Novus Ordo Mass of Modern Rome and the Traditional Latin Mass of Eternal Rome is no different than preferring one flavor over another, in truth the latter satisfies fully in every way, leaving one satiated in grace, while the former leaves an aftertaste that is foul and sipid, changing tastes constantly to please whatever the careless chefs of this new rite want to put on the liberal menu as Tom explains in part one in Merely a Matter of Preference?
    Traditional Insights
On Friday Mario Derksen continues his series on "Vatican II and the Gospel of Man" as he meticulously peels off the skin-deep layers of rhetoric, exposing the tightening muscles of modernism that seek to squeeze the bones of doctrine. This prevents the living organs of Truth and Tradition from fully being able to function, thus allowing the cancer of humanism to penetrate the pores of the Mystical Body of Christ. Mario will show how the Novus Ordo has been so ingrained in so many that few are aware that what is being foisted on the people would, if Rome were truly Roman Catholic, depose most of the bishops for promoting innovations that, as the Second Council of Nicaea decreed, "wrongfully and outrageously devise the destruction of...those traditions enshrined in the Catholic Church" such as the outrageous New Mass. Yet the vast majority of Catholics have no clue their faith is being ransacked and destroyed as Mario will explain Friday in part four of his column Actions Speak Louder Than Words
    The Fatima FILE
On Friday we present the second of a three part series on arguments regarding Sister Lucia and how it doesn't calculate with the swashbuckling Vatican spin that was disseminated through the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith's The Message of Fatima. In truth, there are too many holes in their theory to make it sail. Sadly, the propaganda has dulled and deceived so many into believing what in truth is a false flag raised to deceive souls and cover up the real intentions of the modernist buccaneers. Through the good graces and permission of John Vennari of Catholic Family News we present an excellent, fact-filled feature by journalist Mark Fellows who exposes the facades as he will illustrate Friday with part two of Lucy and the Pirates
