I know you've heard this "song and dance" before of non-profits asking for money. The only problem is I can't sing and you don't want to see me dance. Therefore, with hat in hand I throw myself on the mercy of our readers to help keep this publication, with over twenty-two years of being on the world-wide web, on line for the specific purpose of saving souls. For the past two decades, through thick and thin, this editor has not taken a salary. It is a labor of love for the sake of converting souls to the truths and traditions of holy Mother Church as handed down from St. Peter through Pope Pius XII.

We stand diametrically opposed to the Modernist trend made evident by the Second Vatican Council and all that has followed and now making itself so blatantly evident with yet another false 'pope' in the line of the apostate Vatican 2 CONciLIAR anti-popes. Francis, better known as Mr. Jorge Bergoglio, has almost made it a habit of spewing heretical statements as a weekly occurrence, sometimes several times a week. If you are now finally realizing realizing this fact of his apostasy where he could not possibly be a true pope, it would behoove you to chip in and help those fighting in the trenches against the enemies of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His Immaculate Mother Mary.

The main reason I've combined the two months of July and August into our Annual Summer Hiatus edition is both for financial reasons and the cancer treatments I'm undergoing for my stage IV lung cancer. So far, so good, but it really weakens me where I can spend a lot less time at the computer. Thanks to Mary Beth Lesko from Maine, we've been able to keep you abreast via twitter and facebook as well as providing an inspiring traditional sermon each day. I realize times are tough and we're all being squeezed by higher prices everywhere while getting inferior or reduced products on the grocery shelves. As they say, without a piece of bread there is no peace of mind. I'm already thin, having adopted the one meal a day Lenten fast year round out of habit and a shrunken stomach years ago. So I can survive on the basics for I eat to live, not live to eat. Nevertheless, the bill collectors aren't going to give me a pass because I've dedicated my life to the Lord. No, they'll come after me and this traditional apostolate with all the fury they can muster because of who we are. Remember the IRS witchhunt on conservative non-profits several years ago? We have been a bonafide 501c3 non-profit since 1994 with nothing to hide. But so did our traditional parish and the greed-mongers won out and kicked us out of the "temple" as of June 30th this year, so the money lenders could make it a "den of thieves" by turning a church built for the Navy in 1942 into a restaurant, night club, what have you. We truly are back in the catacombs.

And the fact you've found this site is a blessing you may not realize right away but the grace will flow if you submit totally to God's holy will. Mixing money and religion has always been something I'm uncomfortable asking funds for our causes. Yet, when I see the six figure amounts Novus Ordo editors and Executive Directors are garnering with nary a question as to its unbalanced impropriety, I wince. Our Lord has said "A laborer is worth his wages" but there's a balance there where the top honchos don't horde it all while proceeds for the very mission are sparced out. I've never believed one should charge for promoting the true Faith. That is why we've never gone the subscription route. That is why we don't run ads. We want to keep the DailyCatholic as pure as possible. I can also proudly claim, thanks to our own scrutiny and God's graces, that we have never published anything contrary to the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church, and with confidence, can assure our readers that they are safe in the HomePort of the DailyCatholic pages as well as the links we provide for other trusted ports.

I'm struck with awe of the advice the great Doctor of the Church St. Augustine passed down regarding almsgiving that you see directly below.

"Generosity will save a person from Eternal Death, it will even blot out any sin.....because Almsgiving is prayer...it brings graces, it cleanses the soul from guilt and punishment.....What good is faith without works, if we desert our fellow man in his need.?"

Please don't desert the DailyCatholic and this traditional apostolate of SANCTUS. If you have benefited in anyway from what we have published, we humbly ask your help to keep this publication on line. We know that so many of our readers are unable to assist at a true traditional Latin Mass because of where they live and use the traditional daily liturgy, devotional material, and inspirational articles we publish to gain the efficacious graces possible through their prayers at home. We remain the only publication in the world to provide the Propers every day of the year and are grateful to God that we can provide such nourishment for souls. We've decided to focus more on these aspects of our Catholic Faith and, for the most part, link the polemics of what is happening today in the Church and state.

We urgently ask if you can contribute anything in these tight times, we would be so appreciative for the coffers are truly bare. Think of all the untold millions being thrown into the election process this year.If you've contributed to a campaign, can't you spare a crumb for this apostolate to convert apostates? If you are still in the category of the lukewarm, then you will pass over this plea and move on to the next thing that tickles your fancy. But if you truly want to commit, we offer you the opportunity below to put that commitment into action for the good of saving souls. If you have not donated before, isn't it only right and proper to donate now? Whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated. Just click the button below or send a check/money order to the address below. We are a bonafide non-profit 501c(3) religious association and all donations are tax-deductible. Whatever you would have contributed toward a bloated political campaigns or thrown away in the CONciLIAR collection plates that only goes to covering up the sins of its presbyters and false primates while destroying all semblence of Catholicism, why not earmark it for SANCTUS/DailyCatholic? After all, shouldn't we all take St. Paul's strong counsel in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 to heart and "stand firm, and hold the traditions which you have learned"? I thank you in advance for any donation you can send.

As we move into the first full week of July, which is the month of the Most Precious Blood, we ask God to sanctify, save, inebriate, wash and strengthen us in the Anima Christi, and at every true Traditional Latin Mass when the priest, acting as alter Christus, consecrates the wine into the Blood of Christ after confecting the bread into the Body of Christ. Celebrating the First Class Solemnity of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, this year is a reminder of this First Class Feast supersedes the 6th Sunday after Pentecost which consists of a commemoration at the Collect, Secret, and Postcommunion. John Gregory provides the Haydock Commentary for the 6th Sunday with Prescience of the True Presence.

The next day we celebrate the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Throughout the week until Friday, we commemorate Within the Octave of the feast of Sts. Peter and Paul. You'll also note above and throughout this Annual Summer Hiatus Edition that we provide a daily sermon by a true Traditional Catholic priest courtesy of Traditional Catholic Sermons. We encourage all to listen to a sermon each day for inspiration and to enhance your faith. Guarantee you cannot be mislead.

With "Independence" Day this Wednesday, July 4, let us realize we are not independent, but totally dependent upon Jesus Christ our Sovereign King, and if we are duped into buying into the CONciLIAR religion of man, we will never be independent. We must work to restore all things in Christ. To do that one must flee the masonic/pagan Novus Ordo, or as many call it the Bogus Ordo that is totally devoid of grace since the CONciLIAR services in totally invalid as are their presbyters who can't confect the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist or absolve sins any more than you or I could if they were ordained after 1969. Below is a prayer sent in several years ago by Joe Omlor. It is a...
Prayer for the Conversion of the USA

Dear God, bring the Faith to our beloved country. It was once a virgin land wherein the only praise was that of the murmur of the Mass on the shores, the hills and the prairies. Zealous priests and explorers claimed it for Thee, giving Thy Holy Name to its rivers, lakes and cities. From east to west they traveled, from mission to mission, from Mass to Mass until the land was encircled by prayer and gave of its bounty to Thy glory. And now it is dedicated to Thy Immaculate Mother. May she find America again, as she once found the lost Child Jesus in the Temple. May she touch the hearts of our people, disposing them to receive the ancient faith, and thus showing them the things that are to their peace. We ask this of Thee through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Yes, to be truly independent we must free ourselves from the tyranny of the false church. Because the Modernist CONciLIAR church of Vatican 2 has opted to please man, it has opened itself to the world, the flesh, and the devil as Paul 6 boasted that satan was indeed in the sanctuary. The end of the week is an ignominious anniversary, the eleventh of Ratzinger's stealth motu proprio allowing Latin Masses to be said. Of course, as the late Franciscan Capuchin priest Fr. Carl Pulvermacher foretold before his death "Once there are no more valid priests, they'll permit the Latin Mass."

That's exactly what Ratzinger had in mind because there were so few true priests still alive, or they had apostasized by buying into the blasphemous Novus Ordo. To show how this was all predicted by we sedevacantists, see the first publishing of this on July 9, 2007 issue and the July 7, 2008 issue or last year's ten-year commiseration at July 7, 2017 edition and you will definitely see we were all dead on that there are no fruits in the apostate CONciLIAR church even if they brought Latin back. Please, please wake up to see for yourself what the apostate Marxist and his predecessors, who've occupied the throne for nearly 60 years, have done and is doing all he can to kill anything resembling true Catholicism.

Let us use this Saturday's Rosary Crusade to remember that the greatest charity we can show toward our neighbors is to want them to save their eternal souls and thus we should at all times follow St. Paul's words in 2 Timothy 4: 3 "Preach the word: be instant in season, out of season: reprove, entreat, rebuke in all patience and doctrine." He then warns of what is to come and we are living in that very time: "For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: And will indeed turn away their hearing from the truth, but will be turned unto fables."

Sunday's Gospel for the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost is a compendium of what the false CONciLIAR church is: a totally fruitless barren, bad tree destined for hellfire because an evil tree cannot yield good fruit whereas a good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit. Therefore the fruits may be eclipsed since the true Church is in the catacombs, but lives and thrives carrying on the truths and traditions of the Church Jesus founded up through Pope Pius XII. Besides the sermon above for this Sunday, John Gregory provides the Haydock Commentary entitled Those who do not yield good fruit and remain unrepentant will be cast into the eternal fire.

Since the death of His Holiness Pope Pius XII, the Catholic Church hasn't been the same. That's right, and Jesus tells us why. Because what poses as 'Catholic' today, governed by those usurping the authority in Rome and dioceses throughout the world, is a false church - a man-made religion that has eclipsed the true Church consigned in these times to the catacombs. Our Lord warns in St. Matthew 7: 15-20 to beware of the false prophets who may appear in clothing of sheep, but inwardly we must recognize them as ravening wolves or worse. If the faithful couldn't see the "abomination of desolation" (St. Matthew 24:15) and devious destruction of the true Faith during the regimes of the first five imposters since Pius' passing, they should surely see it now as Roman-born Argentine apostate Jorge Bergoglio continues his agenda to wipe out any vestiges of Catholic truth that would be offensive to non-Catholics in his Marxist mindset to please man, not God through his humanist efforts to form a One World Religion. If one reads St. Paul's warning in 2 Thessalonians 2: 3-11 and what many would do in 2 Timothy 4: 3-4, we can more readily see what Our Lord meant in St. Luke 18:8 when He asked rhetorically if there would be any one of faith left when He returns.

To see the path the current CONciLIAR church is on, all one needs to do is read chapters 17 and 18 of the Book of the Apocalypse. While Protestants point to those chapters - in what they call Revelation as being the Catholic Church - true Catholics realize it cannot possibly be because it is the Mystical Body of Christ as True Catholics know that the false church of Vatican 2 is the harlot of Babylon described in the words written on the isle of Patmos by the holy evangelist. "By their fruits you shall know them" for as Our Lord said, "Bad trees are destined to perish." We also remind you of all the proof located in the column to the right from true Popes, saints and documentation of all we say here. Don't take our word for it, see what the Church has decreed from the Apostles through Pius XII. If it was right and proper for salvation during that timespan, then it still is today and to hear or heed anything else is to ignore St. Paul's warning in Galatians 1: 8-10 to beware if even an angel were to tell you something else. What would they be? Anathema sit. Condemned.

While there are four days of martyrs this week, a few merely commemorated, at the end of this week we celebrate the feast of the only Doctor of the Church for July, St. Bonaventure. The holy Franciscan bishop mingled with several saints in the thirteenth century including St. Thomas Aquinas and King St. Louis IX to name a few. Read more on this The Seraphic Doctor and let us try to emulate the virtues St. Bonaventure exemplified in the intention for the Third Saturday of the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade. Day 5: Novena

While we observe the 8th Sunday after Pentecost with Haydock Commentary provided by John Gregory titled Give Account of thy Stewardship, we also commemorate the holy emperor St. Henry.

Monday is the Greater Double Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel who gave to St. Simon Stock the Brown Scapular. Today this blessed Scapular is shunned by so many as superstition in this new world where God is an afterthought as more buy into the false prophets warned of by St. Paul in 2 Timothy 4: 3-4 who more and more veer from Catholic truth in favoring man as the answer, never mind the divine. This is the message that pores out in the media, by most politicians and the man occupying the Chair of Peter as well as more and more we are told everyone's saved. So why be Catholic? That is all the more reason to be Catholic, truly Catholic and that begins by not compromising one iota with all that has been foisted on the faithful from Vatican 2 on since that is totally adverse to divine revelation as the Apostle of the Gentiles alerts us in Galatians 1: 8-10.

The renowned Benedictine Abbot Dom Prosper Gueranger weighs in on The Lasting Magnificence, Grace, and Power of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Ava Bell points out that The Brown Scapular is Not a Good Luck Charm. The fact is that God's truths cannot change, nor can man create peace on earth without adhering to the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ under the only Church He founded under a true Vicar of Christ. That is something foreign both to the governments on this globe as well as the counterfeit church of conciliarism and countless thousands of other so called 'Christian' sects which were spawned over the last five centuries because they pridefully thought man had a better idea than their Creator.

What every Catholic needs to do is examine their consciences thoroughly and then get thee to a confessional with a true Traditional Priest to hear their sins and absolve them. We encourage you to read Novus Ordo Watch's latest evidence that those ordained after 1968 are not true priests (and they are not because of what Paul 6 dared to alter), then they cannot forgive sins and confer Sanctifying Grace any more than you or I. See Unholy Orders: 50 Years of Invalid Ordinations in the Novus Ordo Church That is just one of the many fall-outs of those who have turned our consecrated churches into unconsecrated dens of thieves.

On the feast of St. Camillus de Lellis we begin the Nine Day Novena to St. Anne. We hope and pray every Catholic will take the words above to heart, and to avoid the temptations of the flesh that have ravaged those in the CONciLIAR church, pray for both purity of body and soul. For if the soul is pure, so will the body be. If not, we urge you to get thee to confession to receive the healing Sacrament of Penance so your soul is pure and radiant in sanctifying grace once again, but, we repeat, be sure to confess to a true priest.

BVM on Sat

In this month of the Most Precious Blood, how fitting that we have one week where we celebrate four special holy persons who had the blessings of personally seeing and walking with Jesus Christ and these saints were always faithful to Him. Those we speak of are first the holy woman who abandoned a life of sin to follow Our Lord. That was St. Mary Magdalen, whose feast we commemorate on the 9th Sunday after Pentecost. See below for more on this. The second who walked with Christ was St. James the Greater, one of the first Apostles chosen by Our Lord, and St. Christopher who carried the Christ Child across a swollen river. On Thursday we honor the mother of the Mother of God, St. Anne, who was the grandmother of Jesus and played a significant role in aiding Mary during His early years. On this day we complete the Nine Day Novena to her.

There is no more vivid analogy of the money lenders in the temple in this Sunday's gospel than the Novus Ordo (read Bogus Ordo) churches (read lodges) today. This is the focus of the links above where John Gregory provides the Haydock Commentary where John Gregory provides the Haydock Commentary for the Epistle and Gospel, titled How dare thou anger God. Just as the worldy had entered the Jewish temple, so also the world, eagerly prompted by the false pontiffs' own invitation to the world, had invaded the once-consecrated churches universally and turned them into a den of thieves. How you ask? By stealing the True Presence of Jesus Christ, Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity, from the faithful through the invalid, sacrilegious, blasphemous new 'mass' of Paul the Sick, already prefigured by one Angelo Roncalli and the notorious, nefarious Anibale Bugnini. The altars were stolen away and replaced with tables, ala Protestant and Masonic lodges. Where God resided in the tabernacles, now the seat of man took center place, thus replacing the Divine. From there it was katie-bar-the-door and anything-goes that has only grown worse over the years by the occupation of the apostates.

What every Catholic needs to do is examine their consciences thoroughly and then get thee to a confessional with a true Traditional Priest to hear their sins and absolve them. Realize if those ordained after 1968 are not true priests (and they are not because of what Paul 6 dared to alter), then they cannot forgive sins and confer Sanctifying Grace any more than you or I. That is just one of the many fall-outs of those who have turned our consecrated churches into unconsecrated dens of thieves. That's why it is so important to once again review Unholy Orders: 50 Years of Invalid Ordinations in the Novus Ordo Church

Actually there are still three days left in July with the commemoration of one of Our Lord Jesus Christ's loyal and holy servants St. Martha on the Tenth Sunday after Pentecost where John Gregory provides the Haydock Commentary The Essence of Humility. On the last day of June we honor one of the founders of the Society of Jesus St. Ignatius Loyola. Oh, he must be so sad at what has happened to his beloved Company for the Jesuits today have sold out to satan, evident by the black 'pope' in Rome today and all the rest of the liberation theology propagandists.

The month devoted to the Immaculate Heart of Mary begins with the feast of St. Peter in Chains with a commemoration of the Seven Holy Machabees. By reading the two last books of the Old Testament, you can see what they went through was merely a prelude to what we are suffering through today in this time of the Great Apostasy. One who did all he could to stave that off and offer Our Lady all the honor and devotion possible was the holy Bishop and Doctor of the Church St. Alphonsus Liguori who was the Keeper of the Moral Compass" . He warned of the Great Apostasy we are in today.

On the First Friday of August we begin the Nine Day Novena to St. Philomena leading to her feast on August 11. This holy virgin and martyr is a favorite among Traditional Catholics for she was embraced when the apostate Paul the Sick tried to eliminate her from the role of saints, replicating in a way the very same intention that the early Romans who martyred her had. She is also known as the wonderworker for the many miracles reported through her intercession. On the First Saturday we celebrate St. Dominic Guzman the holy founder of the Order of the Preachers (aka Dominicans), and receptor of the most holy Rosary - Mary's holy psalter - to fortify hime and others in preaching against the heresy of Albigensianism.

Just as the holy Rosary was instrumental in abolishing heresies back in the 13th Century, today we need to use this most powerful weapon more than ever because heresy is all that seems to come out of Rome over nearly sixty years. . But we also should be in the state of Sanctifying Grace for our prayers to truly be heard and answered. True humilty begins in the infirmary of Divine Mercy with the Sacrament of Penance for it is not easy confessing our sins to another human. It takes being humble before God to accept what Jesus proclaimed in St. John 20: 23, "Whose sins yhou shall forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained." Begin now with a thorough Examination of Conscience by click on the confessional to the right. Being sincerely contrite for our sins is the intention for the Sixth Saturday of the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade. Therefore if in doubt, seek out a true priest and in all humility rid your soul of any stain on it by confessing your sins. The upside is forever.

This week begins with the Gospel of St. Mark on Our Lord healing the deaf and dumb man. John Gregory provides the Haydock Commentary for Sunday's Epistle and Gospel Just a simple Ephpheta proves Christ's point . August 5th is normally the Double Major Feast of Our Lady of the Snows which is merely commemorated this year at the Collect, Secret, and Postcommunion. The next day we celebrate the Double of the Second Class Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord with a commemoration of the holy martyrs Pope Saint Sixtus, Saints Felicissimus and Agapitus who were all martyred by the evil Emperor Valerian. August 6 is also the beginning of the Nine Day Novena for the Assumption The next two days more martyrs are honored as well as Friday and Saturday in honoring St. Lawrence and St. Philomena respectively. On August 9th we celebrate one of the greatest confessors just by the fruits of his conversions St. Jean Marie Vianney, the holy Cure of Ars. All through the week leading up to St. Philomena's feast we continue the Novena to St. Philomena

Tying in the theme of the Gospel and the Transfiguration, most Catholics need a transfiguration of the mind and soul, then the heart to realize they've been blinded by blind obedience to those who do not uphold the infrangible truths of the holy Catholic Church. Even when the facts are presented to them they remain deaf and dumb to these facts. So afraid are they to leave their comfort zone that there is no possible way for being transfiguring back to the true Sacraments.

The Gospel for the Twelfth Sunday after Pentecost focuses on the Good Samaritan who tended to the poor wayfarer when no one else would. It reminds us that the greatest love we can show in fulfilling the two greatest commandments Our Lord speaks of is to want our neighbor in Heaven. Therefore the true Good Samaritan does not only concern himself with the Corporal Works of Mercy, but emphasizes the Spiritual Works of Mercy. We should follow St. Paul's advice in 2 Timothy 4: 2 and 5 as well as be prepared as he counsels in Ephesians 6: 11-18. John Gregory provides the Haydock Commentary for the Epistle and Gospel with The charge to go and do in like manner . We must all be good Samaritans focusing on both the corporal and spiritual needs of our fellow man, but corporal means nothing if the soul is blackened with mortal sin. That is why we must entreat, rebuke and always convey the unadulterated truths of our holy Faith no matter the consequences, even if it means isolating ourselves from the Novus Ordo camp by adhering to the truths and traditions passed down for two millennia, and deviated from so devastingly by the Modernist agenda of Vatican 2 and beyond. We must be fearless as St. Clare was. Her feast is commemorated on Sunday and we can all take a lesson in courage and love for Christ when she protected the Blessed Sacrament from the invading barbarians.

We could say that God was the heavenly Good Samaritan by sending us His Blessed Mother Mary and give thanks that this Living Tabernacle was lifted into Heaven at her Assumption after her dormition, yet still free to communicate with souls in Heaven's special way. The Solemnity of the Assumption is the apex of the month of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Of course, Wednesday is a Holy Day of Obligation. It is vital to realize that Pope Pius XII officially declared ex cathedra the Dogma of the Assumption on November 1, 1950. It was the last infallible dogmatic proclamation ushered from Rome bar none.

On the Vigil of the Assumption which is the feast of the holy confessor St. Eusebius, we complete the Novena for the Solemnity of the Assumption and begin the Nine Day Novena to the Immaculate Heart of Mary During this week within the Octave of the Assumption we honor on Thursday Mary's holy earth father St. Joachim, and the holy confessor St. Hyacinth on Friday, and then commemorating Pope St. Agapitus on Saturday. Always pray to Mary for her intercession for Jesus cannot say no to His Mother.

The Faith of the Samaritan is again the theme for the Thirteenth Sunday after Pentecost and John Gregory provides the Haydock Commentary for the Epistle and Gospel, Where are the others?, this time in respect to the ten lepers and the only one to return and give thanks for his healing by the miracle of Jesus Christ is a Samaritan. Christ exhibits surprise that this Samaritan is the only one left, but the Son of God knew and it was another manifestation that He had come for all, not just the Jews. He conveys this by assuring this man that the faith he had is what healed him, made him whole.

This week we honor two confessors in St. John Eudes commemorated on Sunday and St. Philip Benizi on Thursday, a Doctor of the Church in the holy Abbot St. Bernard of Clairvaux who was the Crusading Hammer of Heretics and Mentor of the Memorare, the beautiful Prayer to Mary for her intercession. There is also a holy widow in St. Jane de Chantal, an Apostle, St. Bartholomew, and a holy king who placed the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ above all: King St. Henry IX. These feasts surround the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, which is also the Octave Day of the Assumption. The devil always assaults the good soul on feasts of Our Lady because he hates Christ's Immaculate Mother Mary so much for she is the one who will crush his head (cf. Genesis 3:15). Personally, we can't wait for that glorious moment!

Next Monday, Labor Day in the United States, we celebrate the feast of the last true Pope to be canonized, His Holiness Pope St. Pius X who was Giuseppe Cardinal Sarto. He was the no-frills, no nonsense Sovereign Pontiff who did all in his power to condemn and eradicate the terrible heresy of Modernism, which he termed "the synthesis of all heresies". Most would think his forceful take-no-prisoners decrees would have corraled the offenders, but they went underground as all snakes do, and plotted. The result, tragically as we can see now, was the Second Vatican Council where the serpent slithered in and made his satanic soul at home in the sanctuary as his venom spread throughout the CONciLIAR structure that had usurped the true Church.

We know that the CONciLIAR church does not serve God the way He has instructed His Church; ergo this Vatican 2 entity must serve another, giving credence to what Jesus says in Matthew 6: 24-33 for the Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost, "No man can serve two masters for he will hate the one and love the other, or he will sustain the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." There it is! It's One or the other. No exceptions. You can't straddle the fence. Either you are 100% Catholic or you're not Catholic! Period. John Gregory provides the Haydock Commentary for the Epistle and Gospel with "No man can serve two masters". Which do you choose? You must have full fidelity to all the holy Catholic Church teaches because Christ has revealed them, Who canst neither deceive or be deceived. If you have been deceived in any way, it's time to re-focus and see which Master you are serving. If it's not Jesus and His one true Church from St. Peter through His Holiness Pope Pius XII, you had better do a self-examination and pray for the grace to truly see your path will lead to a dead end.

We complete the final week of this Annual Summer Hiatus Edition with a cornucopia of feasts as you see above. We begin with a commemoration of Pope St. Zephryrinus on Sunday followed by the feast of St. Joseph Calasanctius on Monday and then on Tuesday one of the giants of the faith - the holy Bishop and Doctor of the Church St. Augustine of Hippo, who could very well have been one of the biggest sinners, but through the tireless perseverance of prayer by his mother St. Monica, he became one of the greatest of saints. He was Doctor of Grace. Think Saul becoming St. Paul. He was a crusader against the disastrous Arian heresy of his time, and, like another holy Doctor St. Athanasius, was swimming upstream against the majority. So also the next day when we honor St. John the Baptist whereas on June 24 we celebrated his birth, on August 29 it is his death by beheading. The next day another who sufferred willingly was St. Rose of Lima but was not martyred. Friday we observe the feast of another holy confessor St. Raymund Nonnatus, as well as First Friday Devotions as well as being the first day of the Nine Day Novena for the Nativity of Mary followed on Saturday with Day Two of the Novena as well as a commemoration of St. Giles and First Saturday Devotions

The headline above about how conversion proves the power of God's Love. This works so well for those who are willing to be open to the graces. For St. Augustine it sure took a long time. For a man more dangerous than anyone on this earth conversion it would almost seem almost impossible for the current imposter in Rome, one Mr. Jorge Bergoglio, who, like his predecessors since 1958, are so taken with pleasing man that, through their words and actions choose to serve Mammon at the expense of countless souls worldwide. But we must pray for them, enemies that they have all been against Christ and His true Church. Thus we must go against the grain, swim against the stream of comfort zones catering to the world, the flesh and the devil. That is why we have a duty, a Catholic responsibility before God to instruct the ignorant and, believe us, the majority are truly ignorant of what the Catholic Faith teaches. That is why, with so few true priests, it falls on the laity to counsel the doubtful while leaving the true sacraments to the true priests who are spread so thin. The same goes for comforting the sorrowful and there is plenty to be sorrowful for, not only if you read the daily headlines or hear the sound bites, but the void of grace in countless souls since the Holy Ghost long ago lifted protection of the church in Rome today due to the Modernists' infiltration and the Great Apostasy resulting from the Second Vatican Council. Because we march to a different drum and choose the narrow path over the wide path to destruction strewn with wilting roses. That's why we get a lot of rejection. That's why we could tear our hair out in frustration at the lack of conversions except we know that "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible". Therefore, as true Catholics, we must bear wrongs patiently and forgive all injuries. Finally, or should we say, first of all we cannot sustain this path unless we do as St. Paul says in his letter to the Corinthians, "Such confidence we have through Christ towards God. Not that we are sufficient to think of ourselves, as of ourselves: but our sufficiency is from God". That is why we are strongly encouraged to pray for the living and the dead in fulfilling our part of the Communion of Saints, something lost in today's pick-and-choose politically correct CONciLIAR church where the devil has ensconsed himself as is only too evident.

In fact, It would seem the gates have shackled what to the world appears as the Catholic Church today, but in essence, is nothing but an evil imposter posing as Catholic while stripping her of all semblance of Catholicity. Yet so many remain blind, deaf and dumb to it all, going along to get along without realizing how wrong they are and how they will have to account for their actions or inactions at their Particular Judgment when it will be too late to make excuses or say 'I didn't know'. That is why we have continued to publish the DailyCatholic and link you to reliable, trusted sites so you can't say you didn't know.    That is why, thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we're able to bring you a pertinent daily sermon for the deaf to hear and for their tongues to speak out, no longer dumb, to enlighten the dumbed-down. Yes, it means leaving the comfort zone you've erroneously grown accustomed to, but it's time all realized that we owe our allegiance not to men who violate the Faith, but to God and all that His holy Catholic Church passed down from Peter through the last true Pope - His Holiness Pope Pius XII of happy memory. Since then the wolves have invaded and engulfed souls in their wicked jaws. The six imposters you see here could never be true Popes as previous true Popes have decreed as is documented to the right.

When you discover what the True Church teaches you'll realize that ever since the death of His Holiness Pope Pius XII , the Catholic Church hasn't been the same. That's right, and Jesus tells us why. Because what poses as 'Catholic' today, governed by those usurping the authority in Rome and dioceses throughout the world, is a false church - an arrogant, out-of-control, failing man-made religion that has eclipsed the humble true Church consigned in these times to the catacombs. Our Lord shows us in Sunday's gospel His mercy in healing those willing to be healed, but He is also equally just and those who presume on His mercy may be left in the dust. Jesus identifies these proud modernists who have eclipsed the true Church quite clearly in St. Matthew 7: 15 that we must beware of the false prophets who may appear in clothing of sheep, but inwardly we must recognize them as ravening wolves or worse. If the faithful couldn't see the "abomination of desolation" (St. Matthew 24:15) and devious destruction of the true Faith during the regimes of the first five imposters since Pius' passing, they should surely see it now as Roman-born Argentine Mr. Jorge Bergoglio continues his agenda to wipe out any vestiges of Catholic truth that would be offensive to non-Catholics in his Marxist mindset to please man, not God through his humanist efforts to form a One World Religion.

How do we restore the sacred? How do we wake up the masses as to what constitutes a true Mass and that those in the CONciLIAR church of Vatican 2 do not have it? First of all, we pray. Then we inform so the deaf may hear and the dumb speak out the truths from the rooftops. Out of all reliable sources verifying the above, NovusOrdoWatch provides the best play-by-play of the implosion of the counterfeit CONciLIAR church and the schemes toward a One World Order which is intent on erasing all true spirituality from this planet. Others worth checking on daily are Christorchaos.com for articles and links, as well as True Restoration and the following blogs that we heartily recommend Introibo Ad Altare Dei, Fr. Anthony Cekada's Quidlibet, Bishop Donald Sanborn's In Veritate, and the satirical, but on-point Call Me Jorge. We also point you to Traditio which, although the Father Moderators will not admit the term "sedevacantism",95% of what they provide reinforces this position. Note, we provide here those sites that carry almost daily coverage and in no way demean other sites that update more infreqently. For those sites, please see Traditional Catholic Resource Port.

We repeat again, it's also important that Protestants of every fabric, as well as those wedded to the dead-end Novus Ordo and its apparatchiks, realize Jesus founded only ONE Church upon the Rock of Peter and "the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (St. Matthew 16: 18). Just the fact the fortifications are crumbling is evidence the church since the 60's is not the true Church for if it were, then the conclusion would have to be Jesus was wrong. That is blasphemy. Ergo, we need only revert to the Act of Faith we say every day wherein we pray "We believe these and all the truths of the holy Catholic Church because Thou hast revealed them, Who canst neither deceive nor be deceived." Just the fact so many souls have been deceived proves it is not from God, but of His adversary lucifer and his legions. Also the fact that all other religions formed over the last two millennia Anno Domini were founded by men who thought they had a better idea than God give credence that they were all founded upon error. Thus Lutherans, Presbyterians, Methodist, Baptist, Mormons, etc. may call themselves Christians, but considering they subscribe to a sect that broke from the true Church, and thus have abandoned their stewardship as God expects, this should have them quaking in their boots for unbeknownst to them, most have embraced Mammon. We say that not to denigrate those born into or taking up a false religion, but to "Preach the word: be instant in season, out of season: reprove, entreat, rebuke in all patience and doctrine" as St. Paul urges in 2 Timothy 4: 2. For the Apostle of the Gentiles was given to know as he warned in the next two verses: "For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: And will indeed turn away their hearing from the truth, but will be turned unto fables."

The vast majority of Protestants and Novus Ordinarians do not realize this and it is left to true Catholics to inform them, to reprove, entreat, rebuke in all patience and doctrine. Basically it means upsetting their comfort zone. They may not like it, they may put up their defenses or do as so many do, change the subject and get away as fast as they can. But if we, as true faithful Catholics who abide by the infallible, perennial Magisterium of nearly 2000 years, do not do as Paul instructs in verse five to be vigilant, labor in all things, and do the work of an evangelist to fulfill our ministry while keeping sober, then we will be held accountable for our stewardship and face bad news at our Particular Judgment. We may not win friends with our persistence to proclaim the truth, but if we can convert souls, that's all that counts with God. Man has a free will. That is something to remember and when rebuked, then shake the sandals and move on. After all, all Our Lord asks is that we try. He'll do the rest. We conclude with the reminder of what Christ says in St. Luke 18: 7-8, "And will not God revenge His elect who cry to Him day and night: and will He have patience in their regard? I say to you, that He will quickly revenge them. But yet the Son of man, when He cometh, shall He find, think you, faith on earth?" The truth is there is little faith left and it is dwindling by the day. It all makes sense today and it makes sense to take our stewardship seriously and commit our efforts to restore the sacred by driving the apostates out so that the churches can someday, in God's time, become truly Catholic churches again after they are re-consecrated with the filth washed away.

So while the Marxist apostate Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis continues to proclaim ever so boldly collective salvation through protecting against 'global warming', we must realize each one of us is responsible for our own salvation and we've been given the blueprint before Vatican Two. Guess what? It still works. Guess what else? The new-fangled CONciLIAR religion doesn't work. Never will. That is why we find more waking up after praying for the grace to see, truly see, and that is where twitter can be a great means of conversion one soul at a time. That's why, to paraphrase an axiom in less than 140 characters, brevity is the soul of witnessing as we ask you to follow the DailyCatholic on Twitter After all, it is not 'global warming' we should fear but God's Global WARNING. Therefore you need to...

We urge you to join the 15-week Rosary Crusade organized several years ago by Bishop Robert McKenna, O.P. to do our part for the salvation of souls by bringing souls to the true Catholic Faith and Sacraments, for the welfare of our country, and for our own special intentions as we all strive for holiness in our role as members of the Church Militant. That was the goal of all the true saints we celebrate in keeping in mind the command from Our Lord to love our enemies. Not an easy thing to do, especially when they want to denigrate our Faith and even kill us. In fact, the greatest love we can show our enemies is to tell them the truth that there is only one true Faith established by the Son of God, the only One who rose from the dead. Arian is dead and ain't coming back! Mohammed is dead and ain't coming back! Martin Luther, John Calvin and Huldrych Zwingli are all dead and ain't coming back! John Smith is dead and ain't coming back! There is only one Who died and rose again and IS coming back: Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and He's coming back to judge the living and the dead.

We encourage you to learn more about the Traditional Latin Mass - the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in these videos at this link because each time you worthily assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in person, you gain graces that are placed in a "golden chalice", so to speak, and is offered to God to be weighed in substance when you stand before Him at your Particular Judgment. The more you have filled this chalice, the better will it go for your spiritual welfare in eternity, enhanced by your cooperation with grace. Know the Mass

When One Cannot physically assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished. Here we provide prayers in preparation for fulfilling assistance in absentia in addition to the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and PROPER OF THE DAY. PRAYERS IN ABSENTIA

For those who'd like to pray all 15 decades nightly, call in at times on the Rosary Call graphic to join a select group of dedicated souls for Rosary Conference Call On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays there is an additional Rosary Call at 8 p.m. EDT and 5 p.m. PDT.

It's what Our Lady asked for at Fatima.

    Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
    Body of Christ, save me.
    Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
    Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
    O good Jesus, hear me.
    Within Thy wounds, hide me.
Permit me to never be separated from Thee.
From the malicious enemy, defend me.
At the hour of my death, call me
And bid me to come to unto Thee
That with Thy Saints I may praise Thee
    Forever and ever. Amen.

    Anima Christi, sanctifica me.
    Corpus Christi, salva me.
    Sanguis Christi, inebria me.
    Aqua lateris Christi, lava me.
    Passio Christi, conforta me.
    O bone Iesu, exaudi me.
    Intra Tua vulnera absconde me.
Ne permittas me separari a Te.
    Ab hoste maligno defende me.
In hora mortis meae voca me.
Et iube me venire ad Te,
Ut cum Sanctis tuis laudem te
    in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

    Prayer Before the Crucifix

Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself upon my knees in Thy sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul I pray and beseech Thee that Thou wouldst fix deep within my heart lively sentiments of Faith, Hope and Charity, with true repentance for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment, whilst with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate Thy five most precious Wounds; having before my eyes the words which David in prophesy spoke concerning Thee, O Good Jesus: "They have pierced My hands and My feet; they have numbered all My bones."

    Plenary Indulgence, Condition:
    • Confession
    • Communion
    • One Our Father
    • One Hail Mary
    • One Glory be...

  • The Fatima Prayers

My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!

O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.

    MEMORARE

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Amen.

The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary. And she conceived of the Holy Ghost.
Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be it done unto me according to Thy word.

    Hail Mary...

And the Word was made flesh. And dwelt among us.

    Hail Mary...

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

    Let us pray.
Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Angelus Domini nuntiavit Mariae. Et concepit de Spiritu Sancto.

Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructis ventris tui, Jesus.

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

Ecce ancilla Domini. Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum.

    Ave Maria...

Et Verbum caro factum est. Et habitavit in nobis.

    Ave Maria...

Ora pro nobis, sancta Dei Genitrix. Ut digni efficiamur promissionibus Christi.

    Oremus.
Amen.

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

Sancte Michael Archangele, defende nos in proelio, contra nequitiam et insidias diaboli esto praesidium. Imperet illi Deus, supplices deprecamur: tuque, Princeps militiae caelestis, Satanam aliosque spiritus malignos, qui ad perditionem animarum pervagantur in mundo, divina virtute, in infernum detrude. Amen.

An excellent book to decipher the difference between the True Church and the CONciLIAR church of Vatican 2 is provided by Fathers Dominic and Francisco Radecki, CMRI. See Tumultuous Times

Griff Ruby, author of The Resurrection of the Roman Catholic Church, has just published two volumes on the existence of Sedevacantism in our times. (click on each book to where you can procure them) that quite readily refute anything the anti-sedevacantists can muster.
