ANNUAL AUTUMN HIATUS ISSUE
September 7 - November 4, 2007    Volume 18, nos. 250-308
NOTE:   For best alignment of pages on this site, set your font size to smaller or smallest in your browser. We assure you that you will be able to read all type at that setting. Please share whatever you see here with others.

As these pages load, we invite you to say as many Hail Mary's as necessary. We pray you will be imbued by the truths of the authentic Catholic Faith we provide here and yearn to learn more of the infrangible truths of the only Church founded by Jesus Christ: One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic. "Stand firm; and hold the traditions which you have learned." (St. Paul, 2 Thess. 2: 14)

With this issue, we begin our annual Autumn Hiatus. We've stood watch over the summer, bringing you timely articles and counting down each day the 65 Errors identified by His Holiness Pope Saint Pius X against Modernism in our commemoration of the centennial of the release of Lamentabili Sane on July 3, 1907 and this weekend the 100th Anniversary of the release of his landmark encyclical in identifying Modernism as "the synthesis of all heresies" with Pascendi Dominici Gregis issued on September 8, 1907. Also on October 13 we celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the final Apparition at Fatima. This year we have a perfect week with the Feast of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Sunday and 90th Anniversary on Saturday. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we prayed consecutive Rosaries throughout that week - just dedicate the week to Rosary after Rosary - the heavenly psalter - for the "freedom and exaltation of our holy Mother the Church" and in prayerful plea in the same vein David prayed the Psalms, that God will blunt the threat of terrorism both to the body and soul and that He will crush the Modernists, manifested in the counterfeit church of conciliarism. What a spiritual bouquet we can all offer to our Lady and her divine Son Jesus Christ if we're really sincere in our daily prayer life!

The best way to begin the day is with the Morning Offering which we include here for your convenience to pray and memorize upon waking:

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in reparation for my sins, I offer Thee all of my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day and of my entire life, for all the intentions of Thy Most Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, validly and licitly offered this day throughout the world, the infinite graces and merits thereof to be dispensed in accord with Thy Divine Will for the salvation of souls, the conversion of poor sinners, and the special intentions in my mind, on my lips and in my heart if it be Thy Will.

Of course, no prayer is greater than the ineffable graces of the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and we realize most of our readers do not have the immediate availablity of such. That is why, since 2004, we still remain the only authentic Roman Catholic site in the world to bring you an on-line Missal, if you will, with the daily Propers of the Roman Catholic Rite for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in both Latin and English for each and every day of the year. So also during this Autumn Hiatus we are not leaving you empty. You can access each day on our Devotion Page from September 7 through November 4th.

This year the time off is necessary both for my health and my wife's as well. Changes need to be made to defer further deterioration and I must drastically cut back my time at the computer. Add to that the fact we are operating on a shoestring and the crisis grows more severe.

We want to thank those few who have sent in donations, and we do mean "few" since it's, by and large, the same few dedicated contributors who keep us on life support, but barely. Were it not for them, especially one particular benefactor, we'd have had to close up shop a long time ago. And that, as we have seen, is the same with so many other traditional non-profits: only a few carrying the whole load. It shouldn't be that way. We know you're out there. Our tracking statistics show that readers in over 150 countries are logging on regularly. We register over 2,500,000 hits a month on the average with a steady increase each year as more discover The Daily Catholic. But it seems all but a few of the masses are glomming on without realizing that tithing is one of the Commandments of the Church. Since the counterfeit church of conciliarism is not the true Church that narrows down your obligation considerably, leaving only those catacomb chapels, religious rders, organizations and ministries left who profess and practice the true Faith in adhering to every Doctrine of the Church uncompromisingly and attending exclusively the true Roman rite - the Traditional Latin Mass - and upholding all that has been passed down by holy Mother Church. But we hear most of those traditional groups are not receiving much either. So who's hoarding the wealth? Not everyone is on a widow's mite and I might add that we get more widow's mites than three figure donations.

We remind all our readers that without your financial donations The Daily Catholic cannot continue to operate. We sometimes have to wonder, other than the few faithful ones who always give, if anyone else cares. Christ says so clearly in St. Matthew 25: 40, "Amen, I say to you: as long as you did it to one of these, My least brethren, you did it to Me." Your tax-deductible contributions can help save souls. Does that matter to you or would you rather ignore this plea and not worry about helping others? You have a free will, but you also have a duty before God to help those laboring for the Lord in His vineyards. How much each of you can give will determine how many we can reach for the True Faith.

Won't you please be so kind as to give your fair share if you are benefiting in any way from the plethora of pages on The Daily Catholic and its archives on the Credo and Feature pages. Please give so that others might profit from the greatest treasure - the Word of God as conveyed through His One True Church. You can send a tax-deductible donation via PayPal or send check, money order or a cash contribution to:

May our Immaculate and Sorrowful Mother guide you during this time when the leaves are falling and the harvest ripe. May our Lord and Savior keep your eye on the prize and not be deceived in any way. May you enjoy and derive many means of grace through this Autumn Hiatus Issue. God bless and keep you safe temporally and spiritually during this time we're away. Sancta Maria, Regina sacratissimi Rosarii, ora pro nobis.

The Galactic Empire is about to encounter either an endemic ennui or a horrifying honesty that there are so few priests to even say a Mass. Then what? Such is the dangerous omen of Summorum Pontificum.

Griff Ruby completes his fourth and final episode of this series of analyzing the trio of documents centering on Summorum Pontificum. Utilizing the "Star Wars" theme, while the rhetoric is to hold treaty talks by both the Roman Galactic Empire and different factions within the Resistance, the fact is that for all sides it is 'take no prisoners.' The ambiguity and disorder of the New Order bodes ill for the integrity of the True Latin Mass and infrangible Catholic Doctrine and yet God can allow good to come out of this malaise. Such possibilities are advanced here on how the consecrated Purple Knights of Tradition, guardians of Catholic Truth, can turn the tables and aid the masses with the proper formation of the Ordinary and Proper of the Mass but only by men who seek to be validly ordained, something few suspect Darth Vader or his collegial cohorts would ever allow. Yet, without this requirement, the Motu is a spectral speck in the galaxy, an illusion whose fruits are dead on arrival. As of the posting of this issue, there is less than a week to go before the Motu is supposed to be enforced by the leader of the evil Empire. Of course his Storm Troopers are uneasy in trying to find every excuse they can to opt out, to alter it to suit their purpose. Meanwhile, expectations are being exaggerated on all sides, but it is the surface most are looking at. Lurking beneath is a new chaos that foretells a bitter battle over conditions that few have even considered. Griff addresses this in his final episode of "Motu Wars" with IV. The Phantom Menace of the Motu

We cannot separate Christ from His holy Gospel and cannot truly be prepared for the ultimate Sacrifice on Calvary without hearing the Truth in our minds, professing it on our lips, and living and believing the Faith in our hearts with the intent to be in union with the entire the Communion of Saints.

We continue with the fifth part of a series of sermons provided by Traditional Catholic Sermons which recorded this series given by His Excellency Bishop Donald Sanborn on the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in explaining the great gift we have in the Immemorial Canonized Apostolic Mass of All Ages, known today as the Traditional Latin Mass to disassociate it with the modern aberration Novus Ordo missae which is, in effect, the very fulfillment of Christ's prophecy in St. Matthew 24: 15 as the "abomination of desolation". After thoroughly explaining in his introductory sermon on The Mass: Why Latin?, then The Mass: Prayers at the Foot of the Altar, part three on the Mass, Mounting the Altar>, and part four on the Collect and Epistle, The Collect, Bishop Sanborn discusses the holy Gospel. This completes, then, in this Autumn Hiatus Issue the Mass of the Catechumens. His Excellency shows the importance of the Munda cor and why the priest faces north to "preach the gospel to all nations" for north symbolizes paganism. He shows why the counterfeit church of conciliarism has abandoned proseltyzing because they focus on the people present and not the entire Church. He explains the significance of the Gloria Tibi, Domine on our head, lips and heart and why the Gospel is the preparation for the Passion and Death of Christ and fills us with such joy and the Gospel is so integral to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in his fifth installment, which we remind you that you can listen to while you surf other ports on The Daily Catholic. Part V: The Gospel

With the build up of apostate artillery fashioned and foisted by Bugnini as early as the 1950's, the Missal of '62 was and remains a dangerous missile aimed directly at St. Pius V's Quo Primum, especially in light of what is contained in Summorum Pontificum: the hidden code to wipe from the face of the earth the True Tridentine Rite.,

The fallout of the the Motu has far reaching repercussions. Just as Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey, Bishop Donald Sanborn, Bishop Daniel Dolan, Father Anthony Cekada, Father Paul Trinchard, Dr. Thomas Droleskey, Griff Ruby, Cyndi Cain and many others have warned on this site, including the editor and especially the Fathers at Traditio, so also we bring you an interesting piece published on Tradition in Action by Father Patrick Perez on the devastating effects Father Joseph Ratzinger's combustible Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum can have by his illegal outlawing of all Masses in Latin except the corrupted 1962 Rite of Angelo Roncalli. Father delineates on the gradual concessions granted by Pope Pius XII and even before that by Pope Pius XI in what all, and most probably those authentic Pontiffs as well, perceived as harmless. Oh, what power was packed into those deceitful weapons the Modernists kept concealed and how we were all diverted by another crisis back then - the '62 Cuban Missile Crisis when, in reality, a far more devastating crisis was on our universal doorstep and few had a clue how deadly it would be to souls and, indeed, has been. The mortality rate over the past forty-plus years continues to skyrocket with hellish repercussions, as in everlasting darkness. Now, with this latest Motu, these Modernist Missiles are being locked and loaded, ready to obliterate the Catholic landscape. Father explains in his article, The Missal Crisis of '62

  • Promises imparted by Our Lady for those who Pray the Holy Rosary

The following promises were given by the Blessed Mother of God to Saint Dominic and Blessed Alan in the twelfth century. To every person who devoutly prays the Rosary, Our Lady promises:

    1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive signal graces.
    2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.
    3. The Rosary shall be powerful armor against hell. It will destroy vice, decrease sin and defeat heresies.
    4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish. It will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God. It will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
    5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.
    6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries, shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice. He shall not perish by an unprovided death. If he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God and become worthy of eternal life.
    7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.
    8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have, during their life and at their death, the light of God and the plentitude of His graces. At the moment of death, they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.
    9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.
    10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.
    11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.
    12. All those who propagate the holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.
    13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.
    14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons and brothers of my only Son, Jesus Christ.
    15. Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

Remember the Rosary Rally Processions planned for October 13 in every city. Turn out and pray the Fifteen Decades of the Rosary that God's Will shall prevail. October is "Protect Life" Month and that doesn't mean non-human life, but the life of humans from conception to the tomb in upholding the Sanctity of Life. No compromises of any kind can be made or condoned which is what every single politician is doing. In other words, there is not one candidate for president or any congressional office who is truly pro-life and none who abide by and will work for the Social Reign of Jesus Christ as Supreme King of every nation and every government. If we really care for our country and souls, we'll pray and then begin a massive grassroots campaign to write in Jesus Christ on the ballot next November! Think of the possibilities. Think of the positives. Think of souls! And speaking of souls, November is the month of holy souls and the Church has special prayers for each day of the month called De Profundis which includes special plenary indulgences for the Souls in Purgatory during the Toties Quoties on either the 1st and 2nd of November, or the 3rd and 4th.

At the International House of Liturgies you may have Catholic cravings for reverence and truth, but don't look for any lasting sustenance for you're sure to leave still hungry, having been waffled and flapjacked.

Father Paul Trinchard, S.T.L. files an interesting piece with the analogy of a restaurant which, considering how they distribute the cookie in the Novus Ordo, is most fitting for those customers of the counterfeit church of conciliarism hungry for true reverence and absolute Catholic truth, will instead be left with crumbs from a crumbling company which for forty years abandoned the demographics pleasing to the Divine. Instead they have, for too long, foisted on the public an inferior product that quickly grew stale and stagnant. Only in the last few years has the president of this failing infrastructure realized there must be a change in the fare. Unfortunately, as we shall see on September 14, few customers will be satisfied for instead of a wholesome necessary menu that includes the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ present only in the Sacrament of the Eucharist when confected correctly by a valid priest, it will be something the chief chef threw together to please the greedy stockholders, not the customers so starving for sustenance. In the end all IHOL will do is leave customers waffled and flapjacked. Such is the progress of conciliar concepts draining souls of grace by IHOL's hostile takeover. Father explains in his article, IHOL's New Motu Menu

Despite appearances and mirrors, the puppet master hasn't changed. Ratzinger still pulls the strings, remaining persistent in his subsistent stubbornness.

His Excellency Bishop Donald Sanborn recently posted an excellent Critical Analysis of the "Responses to some Questions Regarding Certain Aspects of the Doctrine on the Church," by the CDF. Of course, that department was what Fr. Joseph Ratzinger headed for too many years and then appointed a known heretic in Fr. William Levada. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Bishop Sanborn comments on the text of the CDF in his PDF file from Traditional Mass.org and in doing so, he illustrates how the enablers of the counterfeit church of conciliarism merely cover one heresy with another - all part of Ratzinger's Frankenchurch heresy which Father Anthony Cekada first wrote about. It is interesting that the "subsistet in" has been brought up at this time. All part and parcel of trying to assuage and soften up traditionalists to buy the lies being spewed from Lumen Gentium to Summorum Pontificum. The Bishop shows quite clearly that the new church created at Vatican II remains anything but Catholic and, as His Excellency asserts, "Ratzinger is not a conservative, but a radical Modernist, a heretic" who continues to deceive in hopes the duped will abandon the fight to restore Catholic truth and become deserters. Bishop Sanborn wraps it all up in reminding all of what St. Paul affirmed in Galatians 1: 8-10. He explains in his excellent and must read analysis, Ratzinger's Subsistent Error

Beware of the hidden indultcendiaries buried in the Motu and subsequent communiques from the counterfeit church of conciliarism

Griff Ruby files his third installment of his series on "Motu Wars." He continues by breaking down the ideas advanced in the third, and by far least well-known, of this troublesome Trio of documents. As one reads this one can see that normally when one has a set plan, one lays it out succinctly and the better prepared, the better it is conveyed. Not so with Benedict XVI and the counterfeit church of conciliarism which is opposed by a small loyal band of dedicated freedom fighters, who, knowing the history of the Catholic Empire, do not recognize the illegal, unauthorized satanic authority of the leader of the Roman Galactic Empire headquartered on Vatican Base, the Resistance's former stronghold in better days. More stipulations are being laid out by the one who has gone over to the sinister side. There is codespeak in his explanetory communiqué to his Imperial Troops in scarlet and purple to alert them that he has no intention of changing his course or conceding anything to the Resistance. He's telling them to just watch and see for, just as everything else he touches evolves in Hegelian fashion, he has a plan evolving that is, as usual, planted with novelties and time bombs. For he is the master of such. As usual there is so much ambiguity in conciliar documents that another document needs to be issued to explain the first. Griff analyzes this "clarification", keeping in mind that we're dealing with an Imperial Empire which has penetrated every corner of the galaxy with its double-speak deceit. No matter what the leader of the evil Empire portends in his Motu, there are hidden meanings, hidden indultcendiary issues that will explode when the duped least expect it. Expect it! Griff reveals the hidden explosives in his third part, III. Return of the 'Time Bombs'

Many are concerned with the direction the SSPX Superior General is taking the Society in the aftermath of the Motu. They ask, "Whither thou goest, your Excellency?"

Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey filed several articles over the Laborday Weekend, but one that all should take note of is his no-nonsense piece on the direction His Excellency Bishop Bernard Fellay is leaning. As Tom points out in his introduction Fellay "has stated that it is not important as to whether the Novus Ordo Missae is valid or not and that it was secretaries, not the penultimate Modernist, Giovanni Montini/Paul VI, who were responsible for the Novus Ordo Missae and other problems between 1963 and 1978. This revisionist history comes only too naturally to those who seek to accommodate themselves to the ethos of the counterfeit church of conciliarism (See Rifan, Fernando Areas; Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter; Institute of Christ the King, which promotes the so-called 'Luminous Mysteries,' of all things). All the more reason to cling to the true Faith and to the true Mass in the catacombs along with true bishops and true bishops who make no concessions to conciliarism or to the legitimacy of its false shepherds. Only those who can remain silent as the false pontiff calls a mountain dedicated to Buddhism sacred and as this false pontiff's Secretary of State states that the crisis of perversity, whose ethos is open and rampant in the counterfeit church of conciliarism, was exaggerated by the media can believe that it is in accord with the Catholic Faith to be 'una cum' with apostates and heretics." Tom goes into details in his excellent essay which every Traditional Catholic, especially SSPXers must read Not Important At All?

On Monday, Labor Day in the United States, we celebrate the Feast of the holy Pontiff Pope Saint Pius X who was such a crusader against Modernism, the "synthesis of all heresies." You'll note as we wind down the Countdown of the 65 Errors against Modernism, which he listed in his Lamentabili Sane, and which commentaries of each Error we have been running in each issue since July 4 and will complete this coming Thursday, we provide in this Labor Day Weekend Issue commentaries on Errors 59 through 62. It is all part of the centennial recognition of St. Pius releasing that Apostolic Constitution on July 3, 1907 and 67 days later his landmark encyclical Pascendi Dominic Gregis against Modernism, that would be reinforced three years lator on September 1, 1910 with the mandatory Oath Against Modernism which the conciliar Modernists, beginning with Giovanni Montini, did away with, thus exposing himself and all others who complied as enemies of God for their rejection of Catholic truth and tradition. In recalling St. Pius X's life and studying his encyclicals and papal decrees, it is as if he had seen ahead of time what would occur in his beloved Church and so tried to warn the faithful and the hierarchy. In honor of the legacy of this saintly Pontiff, we present three features: a detailed biography of the man - the kind of shepherd so sorely missing today; secondly, a sermon by His Excellency Bishop Donald Sanborn on the sanctity of this simple, holy parish priest who became pope while maintaining his humilty; and thirdly, an essay by Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey on this eternal enemy of the Modernists. We can only hope and pray that someday, in God's time, we will once again have a shepherd devoted to upholding the Apostolic Traditions as St. Pius X was and who did all in his power to safeguard the Sacred Deposit of the Faith For more about this cardinal from northern Italy, see The Story of St. Pius X

You can hear a dynamic sermon about this Defender of the Faith against Heresy and why he was such: because of his love, and sensitivity for the poor and his humility and persevere despite the obstacles he encountered "by the zeal of the grace of God." That was the foundation of this holy parish priest's sanctity as Bishop Sanborn describes the sign of supernatural sanctity for "in the soul o fthe saint the lion must lie down with the lamb" as His Excellency, an orator on par with and even more powerful than Bishop Fulton J. Sheen, shares in his moving sermon on this model of the whole Church Sermon on the Holiness of Saint Pius X

Finally, Dr. Droleskey highlights the essence of this saintly Successor of Peter, writing "The humble farm boy from Riese, who served in the cattle trading center of Tombolo and used his gentle demeanor to extract from the men in that rough and tumble community a promise to refrain from cursing and using God's name in vain in exchange for his running a night school to teach them how to read and write, noted in his first encyclical letter, E Supremi, October 4, 1903, that he wanted to use gentleness in dealing with the problems of the day. Faced with the obstinate boldness of the Modernists, however, Pope Saint Pius X, the pope of early First Communion and frequent Communions thereafter, the pope who loved children and wanted to see them instructed by means of the Catechism whose production he supervised, yes, this gentle pastor of souls, had to resort to the full force of the papacy to assess and to denounce the errors of Modernists and Modernism." Tom explains in his magnificent summa from last year, Modernism's Eternal Foe, Our Eternal Friend

Fearing rebellion from within his own ranks, the leader of the Conciliar Empire tries to assuage his Imperial Troops in purple and scarlet who fear he has conceded too much to the Traditional Resistance in the "Motu Wars."

Griff Ruby continues with his study of the Motu Proprio and, in his second installment, deciphers the accompanying letter to the bishops. It is necessary to know what is really intended in order to know the enemy's coordinates and to avoid the obstacles and remote probes trying to lure out Traditionalists in order to deal a death blow to the true Faith. The freedom fighters must never recognize the false authority of the enemy for that will only weaken the Resistance. All dedicated to the Faith must stand firm to tradition and resist with all their might. Continuing the theme of "Star Wars", the Traditional Resistance may seem small in comparison to the vast evil Empire that has taken over the governance of the Catholic galaxy. Griff, on behalf of traditional freedom fighters, hones in on the hidden agenda of the leader of the Conciliar Empire in his communique to his storm troopers in purple and scarlet. As Griff discovers in deciphering the code, one can easily see the treason has not been subdued but grows stronger for Catholic truth is compromised for 'peace and tranquility' - code words for 'do it our way or else' in order to establish a One World Unity of Community Order where all bow to the Darth Vader of the Imperial Troops. Doublespeak and deception still rule the day and the alarm is sent out to all in the Resistance: Stay the course, hold your positions. Do not be seduced by the Starship Ecumania. Griff explains in his second episode of "Motu Wars" with II. The Conciliar Empire Strikes Back

The Collect symbolizes the gathering together in which the priest, having communicated with Christ and the Church Triumphant, now acts for the whole Church in praying for grace while the people pray that the priest will be sanctified in saying the Holy Mass.

We continue this weekend with the fourth part of a series of sermons provided by Traditional Catholic Sermons which recorded this series given by His Excellency Bishop Donald Sanborn on the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in explaining the great gift we have in the Immemorial Canonized Apostolic Mass of All Ages, known today as the Traditional Latin Mass to disassociate it with the modern aberration Novus Ordo missae which is, in effect, the very fulfillment of Christ's prophecy in St. Matthew 24: 15 as the "abomination of desolation". After thoroughly explaining in his introductory sermon on The Mass: Why Latin?, then The Mass: Prayers at the Foot of the Altar and part three on the Mass, Mounting the Altar>, Bishop Sanborn continues by explaining the significance of the Collect or collecta - the gathering together - in which the priest first kisses the altar which represents the Church Triumphant and, after extending God's blessing to the faithful with Dominus vobiscum and the collective faithful response by the altar boy or choir, Et cum spiritu tuo, proceeds to the Epistle side of the altar to pray the Collect. The Collect always carries with it the theme of the day in which the priest prays for what the Church seeks from God and it always entails praying for grace for while "health and wealth will pass, grace will not. If we cooperate with that grace we have permanence beyond the grave." His Excellency explains components of the Collect and the priest's vital role in this prayer and why the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the most powerful place to pray in his fourth installment, which we remind you that you can listen to while you surf other ports on The Daily Catholic. Part IV: The Collect

A rose cannot grow without its stem, a stem that sprouts thorns, and there is no more beautiful Rose which glistens with the thorns of penance, reparation and prayer than St. Rose of Lima

Bishop Daniel Dolan shares a sermon provided by Traditional Catholic Sermons on today's holy virgin Saint Rose of Lima who sought to do penance in reparation for her sins and those of others, and struggled with her parents who wanted her to marry and have riches, but the Holy Ghost would intercede and send a sign that Rose was right. She is often depicted holding a cross and wearing a crown of roses which represented her taking up whatever crosses she could to follow Jesus even though for fifteen years she went through a desolation that could be equated to the dark night of the soul. Through her spiritual director, a missionary, she came to the Americas and working in unison with him, effected the conversion of countless souls through her penances and prayers. Truly a rose that blooms forever in Heaven as Bishop Dolan conveys in his sermon on St. Rose of Lima

Hoisted by the heretics on their own petard

Selling the Farm right out from under the foundation of Faith. Betrayal within the Castle is the norm rather than the exception. What should be Catholic in every way is anything but for the conciliar charlatans continue to sell out true Catholicism and dare to ignore Christ's mandate.
Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey files a troubling article on how the counterfeit church of conciliarism is selling out the faith, honoring those who openly oppose and seek to destroy the Deposit of the Faith. As Tom writes regarding yesterday's feast, "Poor King Herod the Tetrarch. He could have been 'knighted' by Joseph Ratzinger if only he could have stuck around for two millennia. Remember, Saint John the Baptist was freed from Original Sin in his mother's womb when the sound of the Mother of the One Whose precursor he was meant to be pierced his ears at the moment of the Visitation. Saint John the Baptist, just like his Divine Cousin, is in solidarity with every child in every mother's womb. Preborn babies are killed under cover of law today with those who claim, albeit falsely, lineage from the line that produced and sustained Herod the Great and Herod the Tetrarch. Why not a posthumous 'knighting' of both Herods? And while we are it, why not consider 'knighting' posthumously the members of the Sanhedrin who scourged the Apostles and warned them never to mention the Name of "that man" again, which is exactly what the conciliarists have done and why they are rewarding men such as Leon Klenicki." Klenicki belongs to the ADL and that in and of itself is enough to raise the shackles of what the Fathers at TRADITIO first reported, as Tom explains in his essay Continuing to Knight Infidels

Don't be afraid to stick your neck out. So you may get it cut off, but, if you're still sound of mind you'll realize it beats the alternative of giving in to satan. What's better: keeping your head in hell, or letting go and trust God to help you save your soul?

On this feast where we commemorate Saint John the Baptist's Beheading, Gabriel Garnica checks in with a feature that as much as John didn't want to lose his head, he cherished his soul more. Over the centuries one of the most barbaric forms of execution has always been chopping off one's head. It's called many things, decapitation or, as the venerable Abbot Dom Prosper Gueranger calls it "decollation", which comes from the Latin word collatus which means neck and from which we derive the English word "collar." Decollate means down from the neck as in the guillotine has spoken. Heads on platters and poles are nothing new. From the earliest biblical times such savagery was employed and to the sadistic Salome and her mother, it was the ultimate perversity to request John the Baptist's head on a plate. John could easily have begged off, issued an apology that he didn't really mean to remand Herod and Herodias for their illicit marriage, and, after all, can't we just get along. That's what the leaders of the counterfeit church of conciliarism would do today for they have lost their minds and their faith. Those who are truly dedicated to Christ will not fret about losing their heads, but fear losing their souls and thus will seek to be holy. Few were as dedicated, humble, holy and uncompromising as the man who prepared the path of the Lord. Do we have that commitment to our Catholicism? Are we willing to decrease so God can increase or will we squirm away from the chopping block when push comes to shove? Gabriel lays out the scenario in What Could Be Worse Than Losing One's Head? Compromising with the World.

Where are the Augustines of today?

Were Augustine of Hippo alive today is there any bishop who would convert him? Except for Traditional Bishops who will have nothing to do with Vatican II and all that has followed, it's highly doubtful for proselytising has been banned. We do know that the holy Doctor of the Church we honor today would see through the conciliar charade immediately and expose it at once.
Saint Augustine, whom we celebrate today, August 28 is one of the greatest Doctors of the Church, one of the greatest single intellects ever. Like the Apostle Saint Paul, Augustine began as as a notorious sinner, embracing heresy after heresy, but when grace finally touched him through the prayer and reparation of others, this Saul turned into a Paul and his cries for truth were mostly heard and responded to in Heaven by the relentless efforts and graces of his loving, persevering mother Saint Monica and his mentor, the Bishop of Milan, the holy Doctor of the Church Saint Ambrose, who is credited with the conversion of this man from Hippo. Sadly today neither Augustine, his mother Monica or Ambrose or all the saints who passed through this veil of tears over the centuries, would recognize the counterfeit church of conciliarism as Catholic. They would have denounced from the beginning the aggiornamento and "new springtime" as heretical and extremely harmful to souls. It was the holy Augustine, born in Tagaste, Africa who is given the glorious title of "Doctor of Grace" and authored "City of God" - the magnificent opus on Christian philosophy - as well as his very popular work "Confessions" which, in his time and over the centuries, has drawn countless souls to the Faith. Other than the Angelic Doctor Saint Thomas Aquinas, no one has had more influence on Western Culture in the Church than the man we honor in today's holy Mass, none other than Saint Augustine, "The Doctor of Grace"

Batten down the hatches of your soul for that is all you can save when God gets serious about bringing man back to reality. But then that's why He does it!

Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey has filed two articles that are pertinent to everyone, not just traditional Catholics but EVERYONE. The first one deals with a question that is always asked in times of adversity and one you can easily answer anyone asking: Yes, God allows it for the very fact that storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, fires, floods, epidemics are meant to wake man up to his final end, to prepare the soul. That makes sense for when you think about it, it's truly a miracle so few lives have been lost over the years from natural disasters. God has always had ways of reminding man of his finite state though man is hard-hearted and seldom responds until it stares him in the face. Tom documents God's very intent, specifically with Sodom and Gomorrah and the consequences of those who turn their back on God and embrace perversity. There's a message in them thar clouds and that is to repent and place yourself at the mercy of the all good and merciful God Who is also all-just. Yes, the Holy Trinity has a method to the mayhem in bringing us back to the narrow path and everlasting life and it has nothing to do with political correctness. Tom explains in his article Trying to Get Our Attention.

Souls look for the truths in black and white. Instead they get read the Red Manifesto of deceit and destruction within and without.... for we have conciliarism to thank for the sad state of man's soul today!

Dr. Droleskey provides a double dose from this weekend with a piece that equates the total caving of the counterfeit church of conciliarism to Communism. This is evident in what is going on right now in China and Joseph Ratzinger's silence in the aftermath of his heretical letter to Chinese Catholics to submit to the Communists despite the atrocities taking place and the will of God. So much for conciliarism. The Communists' total disregard for Rome, even the false intruders occupying the Vatican today in the conciliar church, is only too obvious. Tom points out how this is nothing new just with Ratzinger. No, it goes back to the Pact of Metz just before Vatican II thanks to Angelo Roncalli and Giovanni Montini, the latter being the most helpful mole of the Communists in selling out the hierarchy behind the Iron Curtain. The same treason against the Mystical Body of Christ has continued through suspected Communist spy Karol Wojtyla, and now Hegelian disciple Joseph Ratzinger who has condoned that Catholics will no longer proselytize. No wonder Russia's errors have spread so much, so far, so devastatingly just as our Lady warned at Fatima ninety years ago. Thank you conciliar "popes" for all you've done to destroy the Faith. Tom explains in his piece, So Much for Glasnost

In a galaxy far, far away from Catholic truth there are rumblings within the small army of the Resistance as well as the Imperial Troops, all over recent pronouncements by the leader of the Empire which is leading to the inevitable "Motu Wars."

This weekend Griff Ruby begins a multi-part series on the need for a deeper study of the conciliar document Summorum Pontificum being done in order to see whether it is the answer or further contributes to the dark forces gathering to blot out souls. This then is the first episode of a series simply called: "Motu Wars," a take-off on the "Star Wars" theme for the Traditional Resistance, though determined and dedicated, is infitesmally small compared to the vast evil Empire that has taken over the governance of the Catholic galaxy. The latest Motu begs the question: Can the leader of the Empire be trusted just because of a few documents that seem to promise some good things? While many want to trust because of the decades upon decades without a legitimate leader, remember the casualties the Empire's current leader has caused throughout the past. We must be careful and beware. We must study the plans laid out for words can be clever and convincing, convincing enough "to deceive (if it were possible) even the elect" (St. Matthew 24: 24). What is really behind this sudden shift in ideologies? That is the crux of being on guard, of saving souls for there are many storm troopers out there in purple and scarlet who seek to sabotage and sack the Resistance. The Motu Wars are only going to intensify. We need to know the enemy before we become them. Griff combs the original document in deciphering the conciliar code in the first episode of this series: I. Hope Against Hope

To ascend the Altar is to scale the mountain of sacrifice where stands the Holy of Holies behind the veil of the tabernacle which signifies the Presence of God.
We continue this weekend with the third part of a series of sermons provided by Traditional Catholic Sermons which recorded this series given by His Excellency Bishop Donald Sanborn on the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in explaining the great gift we have in the Immemorial Canonized Apostolic Mass of All Ages, known today as the Traditional Latin Mass to disassociate it with the modern aberration Novus Ordo missae which is, in effect, the very fulfillment of Christ's prophecy in St. Matthew 24: 15 as the "abomination of desolation". After thoroughly explaining in his introductory sermon on The Mass: Why Latin? and The Mass: Prayers at the Foot of the Altar, Bishop Sanborn continues with explaining the significance of entering the "Holy of Holies" by mounting the Altar where "Heaven and earth meet." His Excellency illustrates the wondrous meaning of this act of kissing the altar and incensing it (during a solemn high Mass) and why this is so important for Catholics to understand. He explains the beauty of this part of the Mass in his third sermon, which which you can listen to while you surf other ports on The Daily Catholic. The Mass: Part III - Mounting the Altar

To look to a leader, look to how, what, when, where, who and why he was taught and you'll know his heart. Only if it is in harmony with the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts should he be followed and imitated.

Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey presents a redux of his article on the holy Monarch of France dedicated to the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ. That king is none other than Saint Louis IX who was groomed in every way a Catholic citizen first, and then a ruler. Tom illustrates various contradictions proffered by civilization today and the current head of the counterfeit church of conciliarism as "how not to" go about seeking peace and tranquility on this earth. It cannot be accomplished without total adherence to God's Laws and subjection to Christ's Church, His spotless Bride under His rule in all things. Only then can one expect God to be favorable to our prayers. Tom shows how modern man and today's rulers at every level are the antithesis of all that the good and holy St. Louis represented and practiced at all times. It all began with his formation in his early years at the knee of his mother; the same advice he passed on to his son Phillip. Tom shares his thoughts in his column honoring St. Louis on his August 25th feast, From His Mother's Knee.

If we truly love Christ, His Immaculate Mother, and His Church, then we'll put away those white flags and proudly proclaim, as dry martyrs in the catacombs of Catholicism, that we will never surrender to the cabal of conciliarism.

On this day of the spotless and pure Immaculate Heart of Mary, Cyndi Cain, still recuperating from two major operations, returns to urge readers not be stained by caving to the pressures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism and their Motu madness that causes our Lady to weep and to ask why have we forgotten what her divine Son died for, why He instituted His Church upon the Rock of Peter? Why have we allowed yourselves to be deceived by the glitter of convenience and the lure of peace on man's terms? It can only be accomplished when her Immaculate Heart triumphs, and that can only be accomplished through our fiat to follow her beloved Son on the narrow path in the catacombs of His true Church. Accept no substitutes but the authentic Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Accept no less than your promise to participate and to pray the holy Rosary, do penance and offer it as a glorious bouquet in reparation for the offenses against her Immaculate Heart. That is how we can stand firm and hold the traditions passed down. We must daily surrender our hearts to God, but never can we surrender our faith! Cyndi sends out her heartfelt plea to stand firm to the Faith and stand behind those apostolates which seek to preserve the True, unadulterated Faith in her column "Stand firm, and hold the traditions..." Surrender Not!

The slop of submitting to "the things that are Caesar's" without taking into consideration first and foremost "the things that are God's" leads to the kind of pork that fattens up at the trough of pluralism at the expense of souls.

Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey alerts readers that BeneRatz is working on an encyclical to honor one of his predecessors. You know it is not to acknowledge the Centennial anniversary of Pope St. Pius X's landmark encyclical Pascendi Dominici Gregis. Ratzinger wouldn't dare laud the words of the man who one hundred years ago anathematized the man who goes by Benedict XVI. No, but he'll honor Giovanni Montini the very one who lorded over the destruction of the Catholic Church, first at Vatican II and then with the suppression of the Immemorial Mass of All Ages in favor of a stripped, syncretic synthetic rite that reduced the Mass to a mere supper and celebration. He'll honor a man who set in place the very "abomination of desolation" and ordination and episcopal rites that make validity null and void. But then what could you expect from a Modernist intent on deceiving the masses by foisting a Motu Mess on the unsuspecting? Tom gives a hint of where Ratzinger's bread is buttered as the latter lobbies for more taxation to satiate the State at the expense of the individual made in the image and likeness of God. Tom explains in his column, Feeding Caesar's Bloat

Advice to increase our awareness of the significance of the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

We present an excellent sermon by Bishop Donald Sanborn from Traditional Catholic Sermons on the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in which his Excellency speaks of the awe-inspring purity within the midst of all the filth of the world today, how we can help wash away the filth with our Ave's and fiats to do the will of her divine Son by devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. His sermon can be heard at The Immaculate Heart of Mary Sermon

Likewise Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey writes on the last two things to prepare us for the Last Things. For without our Lady's Rosary and devotion to her Immaculate Heart, we might as well cash it in. Fatima and Mary's Message have been compromised and worse, but Mary's army will not retreat but dig in in the trenches to carry on the fight to preserve the Faith and to expedite the Triumph of her Immaculate Heart. How much are we willing to cooperate? Tom shares this in his article Two Last Remedies

Act of Reparation to the Immaculate Heart

Most Holy Virgin, and our beloved Mother, we listen with grief to the complaints of thy Immaculate Heart, surrounded with thorns which ungrateful men place therein at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude. Moved by the ardent desire of loving thee as our Mother and of promoting true devotion to thy Immaculate Heart, we prostrate ourselves at thy feet to prove the sorrow we feel for the grief that men cause thee and to atone by means of our prayers and sacrifices for the offenses with which men return thy tender love. Obtain for them and for us the pardon of so many sins. A word from thee will obtain grace and forgiveness for us all. Hasten O Lady, the conversion of sinners, that they may love Jesus and cease to offend God, already so much offended, and thus avoid eternal punishment. Turn thine eyes of mercy toward us so that henceforth we may love God with all our hearts while on earth and enjoy Him forever in Heaven. Amen.

Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of Heaven and earth and tender Mother of men, in accordance with thy ardent wish made known at Fatima, I consecrate to thee myself, my brethren, my country and the whole human race. Reign over us and teach us how to make the Heart of Jesus reign and triumph in us and around us as It has reigned and triumphed in thee.

Reign over us, dearest Mother, that we may be thine in prosperity and in adversity; in joy and in sorrow; in health and in sickness; in life and in death. O most compassionate Heart of Mary, Queen of Virgins, watch over our minds and our hearts and preserve them from the deluge of impurity which thou didst lament so sorrowfully at Fatima. We want to be pure like thee. We want to atone for the many sins committed against Jesus and thee. We want to call down upon our country and the whole world the peace of God in justice and charity.

Therefore, we now promise to imitate thy virtues by the practice of a Christian life without regard to human respect. We resolve to receive Holy Communion on the First Saturday of every month and to offer thee five decades of the Rosary each day together with our sacrifices in a spirit of reparation and penance. Amen.

For those who cannot attend Holy Mass on a daily basis, or even on Sundays because quite possibly a Traditional Latin Mass is not near, you can always send your Angel to the Holy Sacrifice on your behalf in order to join the untold choirs of Angels adoring Christ come down upon the altar. PAPAL PROOF OF WHAT THE CHURCH TRULY TEACHES
For those who truly want to delve deeper into what the Faith teaches and what past Sovereign Pontiffs have decreed, we recommend for your vital reading to better KNOW THE FAITH in order to KEEP THE FAITH, pertinent Papal decrees which put to the lie what is being promulgated today by the Vatican II church. We strongly encourage you to read these to understand how today the modern church is in Apostasy when compared to what had always been taught by Holy Mother Church and enforced and warned as most grievous by previous Pontiffs as you'll see in CREDO & CULTURE

When it comes to all these ungodly laws being passed by liberal judges because of the lobbying and intimidation of a small minority out to do away with the natural and supernatural order, it is wise to keep in mind the following:

"Unjust laws are, properly speaking, NO LAWS!"
His Eminence Saint Robert Cardinal Bellarmine, Doctor of the Church

We invite you to find out for yourself the truth as we present a compendium portal of documents on the Faith in all aspects, past, present and to come. We guarantee what you read is in full harmony with the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church, and we guarantee you that if you read it all with a discerning heart you will be able to decipher the wheat from the chaff. You will better understand what the absolutes of our Faith are and not be fooled by modernism and ambiguities, no matter how cleverly they are couched. Remember satan is the father of half-truths. Read the fullness of the Truths and Traditions of the Roman Catholic Faith in the sections below.
