Today is first day of June, the Month dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and we present Part III of Father James F. Wathen's treatise on the closing words of our Lord to His Apostles. Today, Father focuses on the passages of the Gospel of Saint John 15: 7-27 in which Christ reaffirms the Commandment of Love and prepares His friends for the obstacles ahead. We also continue our preparation for Pentecost with the SEVENTH DAY of the NOVENA TO THE HOLY GHOST with today's emphasis on the GIFT OF COUNSEL. Also below in our EyeOpeners file, we alert you to several columns Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey has filed on his site over the last few days including a salute to the Queenship of Mary and several on the questionability of the conciliar popes as Tom brings into question grave errors that have not been recanted by both past and present conciliar heads. We remind you to pray for the soul of traditional Franciscan Capuchin Father Carl Pulvermacher, OFM Cap. whose funeral will be held next Wednesday, June 7 at Queen of Angels Church in Dickinson, Texas with a Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. CDT. There will be a Rosary the night before. Requiem aeternum dona eim, Domine.
Et lux perpetua luceat et eim.
Requiescat in pace. Amen.
Animae eorum et animae omnium fidelium defunctorum per misericordiam Dei requiescant in pace. Amen.

Novena to the Holy Ghost
The Novena to the Holy Ghost precedes the Feast of Pentecost. It is one of the oldest novenas since it was first made at the direction of Our Lord Himself when He sent His apostles back to Jerusalem to await the coming of the Holy Ghost on the first Pentecost. It is still the only novena officially prescribed by the Church. Addressed to the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, it is a powerful plea for the light and strength and love so sorely needed by every Christian. To encourage devotion to the Holy Spirit, Holy Mother Church has enriched this novena with an indulgence of ten years on any day of the novena with a plenary indulgence if one participates in at least five exercises and moreover go to confession, receive Holy Communion and pray for the proper intentions. Accompanying each day is the Act of Consecration to the Holy Ghost and the Prayer for the Seven Gifts of the Holy Ghost. Those who make a private novena in honor of the Sanctifier either before Pentecost or at any other time of the year, may gain an Indulgence of 7 years once on any day of their novena. A Plenary Indulgence under the usual conditions at the close of teh novena; but if a public novena is held, this indulgence is available only to those who are lawfully hindered from taking part in the same.
SEVENTH DAY
The Gift of Counsel
The gift of Counsel endows the soul with supernatural prudence, enabling it to judge promptly and rightly what must be done, especially in difficult circumstances. Counsel applies the principles furnished by Knowledge and Understanding to the innumerable concrete cases that confront us in the course of our daily duty as parents, teachers, public servants, and Christian citizens. Counsel is supernatural common sense, a priceless treasure in the quest of salvation. "Above all things, pray to the Most High, that He may direct thy way in truth."
Prayer
Come, O Spirit of Counsel, help and guide me in all my ways, that I may always do Thy holy will. Incline my heart to that which is good; turn it away from all that is evil, and direct me by the straight path of Thy commandments to that goal of eternal life for which I long. Amen.
Our Father, Hail Mary ONCE Glory be to the Father SEVEN TIMES
ACT OF CONSECRATION TO THE HOLY GHOST
On my knees | before the great multitude of Heavenly witnesses | I offer myself, soul and body | to Thee, Eternal Spirit of God. | I adore the brightness of Thy purity | the unerring keenness of Thy justice | and the might of Thy love. | Thou art the Strength | and Light of my soul. | In Thee I live and move and am. | I desire never to grieve Thee | by unfaithfulness to grace | and I pray with all my heart | to be kept from the smallest sin against Thee. |Mercifully guard my every thought | and grant that I may always watch for Thy light | and listen to Thy voice | and follow Thy gracious inspirations. | I cling to Thee | and give myself to Thee | and ask Thee _ by Thy compassion | to watch over me in my weakness. | Holding the pierced Feet of Jesus | and looking at His Five Wounds | and trusting in His Precious Blood | and adoring His opened Side and stricken Heart | I implore Thee, | Adorable Spirit, | Helper of my infirmity, | so to keep me in Thy grace | that I may never sin against Thee. | Give me grace | O Holy Ghost, | Spirit of the Father and the Son | to say to Thee always and everywhere | "Speak, Lord, | for Thy servant heareth." Amen.
(To be recited daily during the novena)
Prayer for the Seven Gifts of the Holy Ghost
O Lord Jesus Christ | Who, before ascending into Heaven | didst promise to send the Holy Ghost | to finish Thy work | in the souls of Thy Apostles and Disciples | deign to grant the same Holy Spirit to me | that He may perfect in my soul | the work of Thy grace and Thy love. | Grant me the Spirit of Wisdom | that I may despise the perishable things of this world | and aspire only after the things | that are eternal, | the Spirit of Understanding | to enlighten my mind | with the light of Thy divine truth, | the Spirit of Counsel | that I may ever choose | the surest way of pleasing God | and gaining Heaven, | the Spirit of Fortitude | that I may bear my cross with Thee | and that I may overcome with courage | all the obstacles that oppose my salvation, | the Spirit of Knowledge | that I may know God and know myself | and grow perfect in the science of the Saints, | the Spirit of Piety | that I may find the service of God sweet and amiable, | the Spirit of Fear | that I may be filled with a loving reverence towards God | and may dread in any way to displease Him. | Mark me, dear Lord | with the sign of Thy true disciples | and animate me in all things | with Thy Spirit. Amen.

In keeping with Christ's assurance in Matthew 7: 19 that "Every tree that yieldeth not good fruit, shall be cut down, and shall be cast into the fire" the disintegration of the Protestant-Masonic-Pagan man-made church is inevitable. The collapse of this synthetic pan-christian religion spawned from Vatican II, which has usurped the True Roman Catholic Church, is evident from the news reports below, the feature articles to the right beneath the Propers of the Mass. These features and our Credo page should be for all stunning of the realization of what has been peddled by the conciliar church of Vatican II is not Catholic and contradicts what the True Church truly teaches as you'll find on our CREDO & CULTURE Page, and especially in the infrangible Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the true Liturgy for each day of the Church's liturgical year, which we provide daily for readers with the Ordinary and Proper of each Mass in both Latin and English so Catholics may truly continue to practice their Faith and truly KNOW THE FAITH in order to KEEP THE FAITH! Tried and True! Tridentine True! Accept no substitutes. Say No! to the NO!

Making Sense of sensus Catholicus Father James F. Wathen presents his third part on the reflection of how Christ provided in His words recorded in the Gospel of Saint John 15, what one might call, a crash-course for His Apostles in refreshing them on His divinity and how He would be with them always before He would leave them and ascend into Heaven and then send His Spirit - the Holy Ghost - on Pentecost. Christ informs His friends the Apostles, in His magnificent words in the Gospel of Saint John 15: 7-27, of what they will face and reassures them they will have the grace to persevere if they are faithful and why they must follow His commands. The success of His Church depends on their fidelity. Father points out the contradiction of the conciliar church today to this perpetual command, for in these times true Christian charity has been abandoned for political correctness and the vehemence of hate is heaped only on those who strive to uncompromisingly follow Christ and all He taught, just as Christ foretold in the Gospel of Saint John. He sums it up succinctly: There is no such thing as cafeteria Christianity with our Lord. Father proves his point in Christ Refreshes His Apostles Part III
NOVENA TO THE HOLY GHOST
We continue today with the Seventh Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost preceding the Feast of Pentecost. Today the Gift of Counsel is the focus. This novena is one of the oldest novenas since it was first made at the direction of Our Lord Himself when He sent His apostles back to Jerusalem to await the coming of the Holy Ghost on the first Pentecost. It is still the only novena officially prescribed by the Church. Addressed to the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, it is a powerful plea for the light and strength and love so sorely needed by every Christian. To encourage devotion to the Holy Spirit, Holy Mother Church has enriched this novena with and indulgence of ten years on any day of the novena with a plenary indulgence if one participates in at least five exercises and moreover go to confession, receive Holy Communion and pray for the proper intentions. Accompanying each day is the Act of Consecration to the Holy Ghost and the Prayer for the Seven Gifts of the Holy Ghost. Today is Seventh Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost
Gabriel's Clarion Gabriel Garnica has chosen the feast of the Queenship of Mary to talk about how so many are missing the main issue of this whole illegal immigration mess. And it is a mess when God and His laws are left out of the equation. With all the fuss about immigration and national language, lost in the fracas is the most important immigration and language, and that is eternal style for the borders around Heaven can only be opened through love of God and loving Him means obeying Him and His laws and being in the state of grace. When we do that, we have the combination; the key to open the gates of Heaven when God calls us forth. Without sanctifying grace, the border fence is impossible to pass. That is important to remember during this time leading up to Pentecost for the Holy Ghost is the Sanctifier. Gabriel explains in his column Only One Key Opens the Gates of Heaven: Sanctifying Grace
NOVENA TO THE HOLY GHOST
We continue today with the Sixth Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost preceding the Feast of Pentecost. Today is Sixth Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost
QUEEN OF THE MAY
One of the traditional devotions during Mary's Month of May is The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary which is an ancient prayer said by more than a few saints and was mandated by the holy St.Louis Marie de Montfort to those in his orders. It is a prayer said for each day of May. Along with this prayer there is another tradition that can be found in Fr. F.X. Lasance's book on Our Lady and that is to offer each day in May to the Blessed Virgin a different flower which corresponds to a particular virtue for each day. On this thirty-first and final day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May to complete the month-long bouquet is the ANEMONE with the corresponding Virtue being appropriately UNION WITH JESUS. The Anemone is a woodplant whose beautiful flower is renowned. Also well known is the fact Our Lady constantly encourages us to come to her Divine Son and be united with Him through her. The Anemone represents the Virtue of Union with Jesus
NOVENA TO THE HOLY GHOST
We continue today with the Fifth Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost preceding the Feast of Pentecost. Today is Fifth Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost
On this thirtieth day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the CAMELLIA with the corresponding Virtue being PERSEVERANCE. Perseverance also applies to the fact that there is but one more day left in this Month of May to honor Christ by showering His Blessed Mother with bouquets of flowers and virtues. The Camellia represents the Virtue of Perseverance
2006 UGLIES Today we reveal the 2006 inductees into the UGLIES HALL OF SHAME. The readers have cast their votes and now finally it is time to reveal whom you chose. Like the past two years, we have taken the top ten in various categories as the most Unprincipled Garrulous Liberal Idiot Embracing Sin (UGLIES). The whole purpose of the UGLIES is to expose sin for what it is: UGLY, and to discredit those who tolerate it and who seek to perpetuate tolerance by accepting what is unacceptable to God and therefore must be to us as well. Thus the third annual UGLIES awards are meant to expose the persistent sins of these fools so that the sheep might be aware of those promoting the world, the flesh and the devil. Since the modern shepherds have failed miserably, revealing themselves as wolves and hirelings, this is our tongue-in-cheek way to bring to everyone's attention how the world, the flesh and the devil are suffocating the sheep as we present the

NOVENA TO THE HOLY GHOST
We continue today with the Fourth Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost preceding the Feast of Pentecost. Lasance's book on Our Lady and that is to offer each day in May to the Blessed Virgin a different flower which corresponds to a particular virtue for each day. On this twenty-ninth day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the ASTER with the corresponding Virtue being GOODNESS. Goodness is what the Blessed Mother cherishes so much in her Divine Son's children for Goodness is the foundation of a sincere heart and a pure soul. The Aster represents the Virtue of Goodness
"Qui legit, intelligat" In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Sunday after the Ascension, he refers to Christ's assurance that He would not leave His followers alone. Often times, especially today, one might think one is alone compared to the vast mobs of those who have acquiesced to the ways of the world, the flesh and the devil. Just as our Lord has counseled that if your hand is a temptation to you, cut it off, so also if the world is a temptation that could overwhelm one, it is better to go into exile to preserve one's soul just as Abraham did for he did not have the benefit of the Advocate as the Apostles did. Jesus prayed to the Father to protect His Own, not by taking them out of the world as those who push the rapture falsely predict, but by keeping them from evil by sanctifying them in the truths Christ taught and which He left to His Apostles to teach to all the world, baptizing those who believe; a prerequisite for salvation. Too many have forgotten that today and instead of looking up to Heaven, they look down fearing for their physical safety while ignoring the most important thing: their immortal soul, which Jesus especially asked protection for on those who believe and practice the Faith He left us. Father explains in his sermon
"Looking Up to Heaven"
NOVENA TO THE HOLY GHOST
We continue today with the Third Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost preceding the Feast of Pentecost. It is one of the oldest novenas since it was first made at the direction of Our Lord Himself when He sent His apostles back to Jerusalem to await the coming of the Holy Ghost on the first Pentecost. Lasance's book on Our Lady and that is to offer each day in May to the Blessed Virgin a different flower which corresponds to a particular virtue for each day. On this twenty-eighth day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the HONEYSUCKLE with the corresponding Virtue being CONFIDENCE IN GOD. The honeysuckle, a member of the columbine family is a sweet plant of long spurred flowers that resemble almost a trumpet like shape, trumpeting the Confidence in God. The Honeysuckle represents the Virtue of Confidence in God
Catholic PewPOINT Usually we don't pay much attention to commencement addresses because they're more often than not a lot of fluff with no real substance. But editor Michael Cain could not let what happened at his alma mater one week ago pass without commenting strongly on what was said and what wasn't said. As Cain documents, graduate and honored baccalaureate Mr. Tommy of 2006 Benjamin Kessler had a golden opportunity to preach the gospel in season and out of season, but failed miserably by spouting the Masonic creed of giving to the community. He later apologized for offending several in the audience because he dared to tell them they were selfish by using birth control and by thinking only of themselves. In that he was right, but in not going further and leaving God totally out of the equation he was very, very wrong and complicated the message even further when coerced by the spineless president of the university to apologize to the intolerant ones at the altar of tolerance. All hail the Masonic creed, thoroughly imbedded into the culture of a 'Catholic' university. Cain explains in his editorial Pomp and Circumstances with Consequences
NOVENA TO THE HOLY GHOST
We continue today with the Second Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost preceding the Feast of Pentecost. Lasance's book on Our Lady and that is to offer each day in May to the Blessed Virgin a different flower which corresponds to a particular virtue for each day. On this twenty-seventh day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the VERBENA with the corresponding Virtue being PRUDENCE. The Verbena represents the Virtue of Prudence
Doctors of the Church
Saint Bede the Venerable was the sixteenth Doctor in the chronological line of those elevated to the exalted status of Doctors of the Church. He was the illustrious ornament of the Anglo-Saxon Church and its first historian. Considered the Father of English History, he was the first to date events as in the "Year of Our Lord" - Anno Domini (A.D.) and would be appalled today to hear that the Kentucky Board of Education wants to do away with any reference to Christ whatsoever, all part of the anti-Catholic agenda to de-Christianize America thoroughly. That is the Masonic creed which Bede would never have stood for. This man was one of the few among saints to be termed "Venerable" and he was officially named a Doctor of the Church by Pope Leo XIII. Considered a Father of the Church, this man is one of the few among the saints who is called Venerable. He was the Benedictines' jewel this Holy Historian.
NOVENA TO THE HOLY GHOST
Today begins the Novena to the Holy Ghost preceding the Feast of Pentecost. It is one of the oldest novenas since it was first made at the direction of Our Lord Himself when He sent His apostles back to Jerusalem to await the coming of the Holy Ghost on the first Pentecost. It is still the only novena officially prescribed by the Church. QUEEN OF THE MAY

It is a prayer said for each day of May. Along with this prayer there is another tradition that can be found in Fr. F.X. Lasance's book on Our Lady and that is to offer each day in May to the Blessed Virgin a different flower which corresponds to a particular virtue for each day. On this twenty-sixth day of May the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the PRIMROSE with the corresponding Virtue being LOVE OF LABOR. Interesting that the primrose would represent the love of work for it is the primrose path which represents sensual pleasure and is most often associated with the path to perdition. Conversely it is the narrow and straight path to Heaven which fosters a love of labor out of a sincere love for God and total humility. The Primrose represents the Virtue of Love of Labor
"Qui legit, intelligat" In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for Ascension Thursday, he follows Our Lord's final command in Mark 16: 15-16 in going back to basics. Things have become too complicated over the past 40 years and one reason is to cover up the obvious subterfuge that conceals the true Faith, masqueraded as Catholicism today. In truth, what passes as 'Catholic' today is nothing but Protestantism for, as Father points, out the bishops who signed the documents of Vatican II placed themselves in schism for what they signed was condemned by holy pontiffs who foresaw the mortal cancer of Modernism. Father reminds us of St. Paul's words regarding the faithful's superiors "Consider how they ended their lives, and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday and today, yes, and forever." God does not change and neither does the means of salvation as Christ established in the salvific New Covenant. Yet if we are to believe the Modernists, the faith is ever evolving and changing. Anathema at its gravest and yet so few have a clue. Father entreats all to "Keep the Faith" which begins and ends with preserving the Immemorial Holy Sacrifice of Tradition. While the generals and most of the commanders have cowardly abandoned ship and so meekly waved the surrender flag to the enemy, it is left to the few who remain faithful to defend the ramparts at all costs!
A Different Kind of Cloud
Faithful to Tradition John Gregory continues with the Glorious Mysteries of the Holy Rosary corresponding with this time of Paschaltide. For the Second Glorious Mystery he appropriately brings us the meditation on the Ascension today as he utilizes Sacred Scripture to illustrate the mystery of the Ascension as well as resources from A Tour of the Summa on St. Thomas Aquinas and the Catechism of Trent. Our Lord has gone to prepare a place for us, and thus the effects of the Ascension remain an on-going mystery for Christ continues to prepare for us at the Father's right hand and in that wondrous news is extended the greatest hope to all for where Christ has gone He waits for us to follow in a place of everlasting happiness for those who are obedient to His teachings and cooperate with the divine Will. Just as Jesus left instructions for His Apostles, He has left us inerrant instructions that, if we follow fully, will assure us of being with Him forever. John shares his meditation on

Lasance's book on Our Lady and that is to offer each day in May to the Blessed Virgin a different flower which corresponds to a particular virtue for each day. On this twenty-fifth day of May - this year ASCENSION THURSDAY - the flower offered to Our Lady as Queen of the May is the DAFFODIL with the corresponding Virtue being DEVOTION TO MARY. The lovely yellow or white daffodil signals the fullness of Spring just as Our Lady's fulfillment of God's holy Will signaled the fullness of redemption through her Divine Son. The Daffodil represents the Virtue of Devotion to Mary
Catholic PewPOINT This year the third Day of Rogation coincides with the historical feast of Mary, Help of Christians. It dates back several centuries but Our Lady's help is timeless and she wants us to ask with all fervor. Just as Abraham asked God to spare Sodom and Gomorrah, there are unknown souls today that have stayed the hand of God through their prayers, their sufferings, their reparations, and their fiat. Editor Michael Cain takes the opportunity to share on Cyndi's progress as well as delineate how Our Lady has helped in the past and why Auxilium Christianorum is more necessary today than ever before. Cain shares the insight of the renowned Benedictine Abbot Dom Prosper Gueranger in detailing the fruits of her aid to all of Christendom and delineates what is needed to delay the impending wrath of Almighty God and His Apostles Peter and Paul. Cain delves further in his editorial Rogation, Rogation, Rogation!

On this twenty-fourth day of May the flower is the RED POPPY with the corresponding Virtue being FERVOR. It is the fervor of its elixir spiritually that drives the virtue of fervor to heal the soul and therein lies the true beauty of the Red Poppy offered to Our Lady in Mary's May.
The Red Poppy represents the Virtue of Fervor
Making Sense of sensus Catholicus Father James F. Wathen presents his second part on the reflection of how Christ provided in His words recorded in the Gospel of Saint John 14, what one might call, a crash-course for His Apostles in refreshing them on His divinity and how He would be with them always before He would leave them and ascend into Heaven and then send His Spirit - the Holy Ghost - on Pentecost. Father points out how Christ assures His loyal followers that He will always be with them and, through faith, seen through the Paraclete Whom He would send after our Lord has returned to the Father on Ascension Thursday. The very success of the Church depends on how faithful His shepherds are to His teachings. Christ knows that their commitment is vital for His charge in Mark 16: 15-16 and Matthew 28: 20. He also knows well those who would betray Him, not only Judas, but those modern Judases today who have abandoned the Faith in posturing to be Catholic while embracing the mother of all heresies. And yet, even with these charlatans in sheeps' clothing, we can be assured Christ will never leave us alone and the gates of hell shall not prevail. Christ refreshes the Apostles Part II

On this twenty-third day of May the flower offered to Our Lady is the BLUEBELL with the corresponding Virtue being DESIRE FOR HEAVEN. The delicate bell-shaped flower which grows on many continents and belongs both to the hyacinth and columbine genus, is symbolic of the church bells that clarion souls to come to Holy Mass or to pray the Angelus. The reason for prayer is not for socializing, but for turning our attention to God and the purpose of desiring things not of this earth, but of Heaven.
The Bluebell represents the Virtue of the Desire for Heaven
Christ or chaos Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey illustrates in his most recent article how society has rejected the safeguards set in place by previous Popes and the Legion of Decency in the earlier part of the 20th century and spurned the words of His Holiness Pope Pius XI. With all the brouhaha over The Da Vinci Code, Tom points out that there is a far worse scandal and blasphemy that has gone on for nigh over 40 years and it is the conciliar church. Tom asks "Who is going to start to organize Rosaries of Reparation in front of chancery offices and schools and universities and colleges and seminaries, to say nothing of in Piazza San Pietro itself in the State of Vatican City? The Roncalli Code and the Montini Code and the Wojtyla Code and the Ratzinger Code have proved to be far more injurious to the good of souls than anything conjured up by the forces of popular culture." Strong words that Tom backs up with Catholic truth in

The twenty-second flower offered today is the yellow BUTTERCUP with the corresponding Virtue being OBEDIENCE. The Buttercup, with its five petals and small, humble appearance is a most fitting reminder of obedience for the 15 Mysteries of the Rosary are divided into three sets of five and begin with the Annunciation, which epitomizes obedience for Our Lady's fiat paved the way for the ultimate obedience to the Father with her Divine Son's Passion, Death and Resurrection so that salvation could be attained through the merits of Jesus Christ.

"Qui legit, intelligat" In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Fifth Sunday after Easter, he tackles the very essence of what Catholics believe and wherein all the controversy has arisen from the gnostics of the first century to the agnostics of the twenty-first century. Despite the twisted fiction of The Da Vinci Code and the even more twisted fiction of Catholic truth by the false church of Vatican II, true Catholic Truth is clearly delineated in the Gospels and Sacred Scriptures with prophesies of the Old Testament fulfilled in the New Testament that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, One Person with two natures - human and divine. The Second Person of the Blessed Trinity - the God-man was a man like all others except He could not sin. That debunks any rubbish that Christ physically begot a child in the fictitious Merevingian Line. It is all fable, and yet, even in fable, it is vital to express the truth for there are many fools who will believe the lies the evil one fabricates. They who believe the lies and blasphemies are cooperators with the Antichrist. Father explains in his sermon
"He was by nature God"

It has been said the best intentions often go awry. One reason they do is because they may not be based on God's will. Through purity of intention, it is based on doing the Divine Will in all things. The Periwinkle represents the Virtue of Purity of Intention

Today on the twentieth day of May the flower offered to Our Lady for Queen of the May is the popular GERANIUM with the corresponding Virtue being ZEAL FOR SOULS. Consider that the colorful Geraniums number over 100 million plants grown and sold throughout the world every year. Each colorful, hardy perennial plant, while often different in color and even design, still belongs to the Geranium family. Now consider that in souls - 100 million souls a year being converted! Talk about Zeal for Souls! The Geranium represents the Virtue of a Zeal for Souls
Faithful to Tradition With the Joyful and Sorrowful Mysteries completed, John Gregory begins the Glorious Mysteries of the Holy Rosary corresponding with this time of Paschaltide. For the First Glorious Mystery, the best meditation to inspire on the Resurrection of Our Lord and what followed up to His Ascension can be gleaned from Sacred Scripture and the holy Gospels of the Four Evangelists. What is remarkable is how the four accounts so readily strengthen each other. John takes the Gospels from the Resurrection and the aftermath of Christ's activity and we can see all He imparted capsulized in His messages, "Blessed are they who have not seen and believe," "Feed My sheep," and "Follow Me" as well as His charge to go out into the world and convert, not compromise, every creature. Those who believe and are baptized into the Church He founded and are obedient to all He taught and handed down, will be saved, those who think they have a better idea are in for a big surprise and it won't be Heaven. John chronicles the time from tomb to the eve of the Ascension with

This is appropriate for mortification takes being able to withstand pain and pleasure. The red-fruited Hawthorn consisting of dense corymbs of pink-red flowers has stems and leaves which are densely covered with short wooly hairs and must bear up under cold and windy conditions. So also mortification helps to toughen us in the face of temptation and the life of ease, allowing grace to blossom forth. The Hawthorn represents the Virtue of Mortification

This is appropriate for modesty is the cornerstone of chastity and purity. Nothing makes Our Lady happier than a pure heart and a pure heart begins with being pure in the flesh. Like the Lavender, our souls are delicate and to be immodest in any way or not to practice custody of the eyes puts that delicateness in jeopardy. The Lavender represents the Virtue of Modesty
Gabriel's Clarion Gabriel Garnica illustrates what code The Da Vinci Code has really broken and that is the code of decency, for the blasphemy that spews from this cinematic sewage must be identified for the rot it is to protect the clueless lukewarm idiots who will flock to the complexes to see this vile blasphemy because everyone else is going. Oh, what blind sheep. Gabriel warns not to expect any protection or guidance from the shepherds because they've already sold out. Gabriel points out how with The Da Vinci Code release this Friday, the evil one returns to the scene of the crime, ever tempting with more vile blasphemy and just as he had a gullible Adam and Eve, so also he has a countless covey of vulnerable idiots to once again spin his tale of sin and deceit with the vile, vicious and overtly blasphemous The Da Vinci Code in which he seeks to poison so many more souls who are only too willing to self-destruct. It is the final all-out assault satan has promised and we need to be ready to fight and to stand for Christ. If we don't, then we will have broken our code and vow to Him as Gabriel explains in his column Decline, Da Vinci, and the real Code that has been broken!

The purity of the Lily of the Valley can be equated with the parable of the Five Virgins who were punctual and had their lamps lit when the Master came; whereas the other five foolish virgins were not punctual and because they were not, missed out on eternal bliss. The Lily of the Valley represents the Virtue of Punctuality
