Living In Tradition
We continue with the reflections by the wise and holy abbot Dom Prosper Gueranger on the Liturgical Time of the Penitential Season. We have now arrived at the time of Passion Week. Just as the holy Abbot provided the History, Mystery and Practice of Septuagesima and of Lent, so today we provide his reflections on Passiontide as he explains the History, Mystery and Practice of Passiontide. Our Lenten fasting and penance are but two weeks from completion. The incline now becomes much steeper and only those truly committed and contrite will persevere to Calvary. Now is the time to take up the shield of Faith to fend off the devil who will do all he can to distract us from our appointed goal. It means we must intensify our sufferings, self-mortifications and prayers. The more we can compassionate our Lord and His Most Sorrowful and Immaculate Mother, the more we can share in the joy and fruits of the Resurrection and totally disappoint and demoralize the devil. His reflections will hopefully wake many to realizing the treasure of sacrifice, self-mortification and penance in building the spiritual muscle to bulk up the numbers in restoring holy Mother Church to her former glory. Faithful to Tradition
 John Gregory seeks to sort out a few things in these times of confusion which are due solely to the foretold Great Apostasy, which has ravaged so many souls over the past half of a century. We can thank the hirelings and imposters who have so pitifully milked the faithful out of their Catholic beliefs and faith, not to mention their money. It is inevitable that something not of God will crumble and at the same time, what is of God cannot be destroyed and thus, slowly but surely Catholic truth is once again rising to the surface like fresh cream, nourishing more who are willing to face the truth, willing to make the sacrifice for the sake of their souls. Yet there are still those who stubbornly cling to their own opinions or the fallible opinions of cult leaders whom the people have treated like idols, which only hinders unity within the forces of restoring Catholic truth. Gabriel's Clarion
 Gabriel Garnica presents an interesting parallel between Groundhog Day and Good Friday that merits contemplation, especially in light of the feast that we celebrated on February 2nd and it's inevitable tie-in to the ultimate Sacrifice on Golgotha and why it's deja vu all over again every year. That is the wisdom of holy Mother Church in repeating the liturgy, prayers and doctrines that sustained souls for two millenniums. None of that would have been possible without Christ's ultimate sacrifice for us. We should always seek to find shelter in the shadow of the cross and find our strength there in the Infallible Supreme Being and eschew once and for all the prognostications of finite beings. The most famous and meaningful life ever, which reaches its apex on Good Friday, began on the feast transferred to Monday, March 26th this year: the Annunciation. Doctors of the Church
 
In honor of today's Double Feast of the holy Doctor of the Church Saint John Damascene, we present a "Gems from the Past" profile from our chronological series on the Doctors of the Church. St. John was the most remarkable of the Greek writers of the 8th century. He stood up strongly to false doctrines and led the defenders of the orthodox Catholic faith against the iconoclast movement of the Byzantine regime. Greatly persecuted by the iconoclast emperors, St. John's own right hand was severed and, in a show to deter those venerating images, the cruel emperor had St. John's hand displayed in the square. But our Blessed Mother intervened and miraculously had it reconnected to St. John's wrist with no signs of scars.
He was known as the last of the Greek Fathers and one whom greatly inspired the Angelic Doctor several centuries later - Saint Thomas Aquinas - as well as his words serving as the stop-gap answer for the counter-revolution at the holy Council of Trent. He was the defender of the orthodox Catholic treasure of Faith, the Pourer of Gold.
Traditional Thoughts
 Editor Michael Cain reprises an article written a several years ago which impresses on readers the importance of the Feast of the Seven Sorrows in Friday of Passion Week as he takes the reader on a journey through Mary's life on earth, identifying each sword mystically piercing Her Immaculate and Sorrowful Heart. He poses the question: Why is Our Lady so sorrowful? Because She is a Mother and She continues to weep because so many do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love Her Divine Son. Wouldn't you weep too? Cain illustrates how Our Lady was so perfectly in sync with the Divine Will that without this cooperation many souls might be even more lost considering the ravaging perpetuated by Her Divine Son's Adversary in these trying, troublesome times. We need to heed her strong motherly advice, meld our sorrows with Hers and do as she asks, take our cares, concerns, anxieties, worries and woes and lay them at the foot of the Cross to be washed in His Most Precious, Cleansing Blood. We continue with the reflections by the wise and holy abbot Dom Prosper Gueranger on the Liturgical Time of the Penitential Season. In the midst of the Season of Lent holy Mother Church provides us an oasis of joy with Laetare Sunday and a cornucopia of feasts this week with only two Lenten Ferias during the Fourth Week of Lent. We begin this year rejoicing over the feast of the holy Bishop and Doctor of the Church St. Cyril of Jerusalem, followed immediately by the First Class Feast of St. Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church and soon after the Father of Monasticism with the Feast of St. Benedict and ends the week with the greater double Feast of St. Gabriel the Archangel who announced to the Virgin Mary that she would bear the Son of God. It is appropriate this year, as well, that we end Laetare Week with God's hand-chosen heavenly spirit for it is the clarion to the faithful to return to a sincere recommitment of persevering in our pentitential practice and prayer for the next two weeks will intensify leading to Good Friday, beginning with Passion Sunday.  Griff Ruby brings all the undeniable proof that Paul VI resigned his authority of the Roman Catholic Church (if, indeed, he ever had it)with his approval of the heretical document Lumen Gentium and thereby, by this act, became the head of another entity which has turned out to be the apostate conciliar church in which his successors John Paul I, John Paul II and Benedict XVI have followed and "subsist in." Yet so many can't see the elephant in the room while the Modernist Mastedons continue to "subsist" in stomping on souls over the last 40 years and few there are who will honestly recognize the beast for what it is. Hopefully Griff's treatise will knock at least a few over the head and shed some light from the imaginary chandeliers they keep ducking under and away from in their efforts to continue paddling up the river of denile to avoid the inevetible. Making Sense of sensus Catholicus
 In this series, Even though Father James Francis Wathen has left us, he has left us not only his words of wisdom in Making Sense of sensus Catholicus and magnificent and irrefutable opus The Great Sacrilege, but has also given us several radio reflections. We are grateful to be able to bring you these pearls of wisdom, as we continue with his third installment as Fr. Wathen points out that in today's topsy-turvy world scientists seek to chip away at truth, even going so far as to deny it or fabricate the Infinite to fit their own finite theories. Father Wathen illustrates that whatever principle is applied, opinion means nothing in the face of truth. Yet today so many are governed by opinion; so much so that Truth Incarnate is challenged in an effort to downplay, and even alter the infrangible fact that almighty God is the Author of all and He cannot change nor can His truths. The Sanity of Sanctity
 On the day which Holy Mother Church has designated as a Double of the First Class Feast, the highest classification possible, it is dedicated to the the saint who enabled the Blessed Mother to fulfill her fiat and raised the Son of Man in the virtuous life. It was the quiet and holy Joseph who helped his foster Son Jesus Christ prepare for His mission on earth. Look at the innocent child in the massive arms of good St. Joseph and we see how love overflowed in the home of the Holy Family. Editor Michael Cain reprises an article he wrote seven years ago, updating it slighty, to honor this gentle giant of our Faith; a saint who serves as the ultimate role model for all men just as his earthly spouse the Blessed Virgin Mary is the ideal mentor for all women. Their intercession is the greatest in Heaven and too few call upon good St. Joseph, who molded and taught the Son of God in all things human. This week we provide his brilliant reflections and explanation on the Practice of the Lenten Season as he explains the importance of the correlation between body and soul. Body and Soul; they cannot be separated until death. What the body does, the soul will either also suffer the consequences of or reap the rewards. Lent affords both to work in harmony through mortification of the body for contrition of the soul. If the soul has willed to sin, then the body must also pay. There can be no sincerity where the body doesn't participate with the soul. Practice makes perfect and that is the purpose of cleansing both body and soul of the harmful effects of sin during Lent through prayer, fasting, penance and almsgiving. The whole purpose of this feature is to provide something special so readers can enhance their spiritual lives, appreciate the traditions passed down and apply the principles of what Abbe Gueranger left to posterity in his masterful volumes known as The Liturgical Year. Hopefully his words will spark a renewal of contrition and amendment to live as Catholics should in rejecting the world and its lures and striving for holiness. Few can explain so clearly the wisdom of holy Mother Church in laying out the liturgical Church year better than this man who could very well be a Doctor of the Church someday when the Authority of Peter is returned to Rome.  Father Trinchard, esteemed author of the books, "New Mass" Is Conclusively Invalid, Latin Mass Prayers Explained, and Apocalypse of the Mass to mention just a few, provides unmitigated proof that the chances are if you or your parish "priest" were ordained less than 37 years ago, you or he are not truly a Catholic priest. That is the sad fact as Father delineates what the New Order purposely did to alter the divinely-ordained rite of Holy Orders to give the world a plethora of presiders with no power to forgive sins or confect the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, Soul and Divinity at the Canonical Consecration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The consequences are catastrophic for souls and speaks volumes of the enemy's intent to destroy Christ's Mystical Body: for without the sacraments grace is lacking and without grace there is little adherence to the constituted evangelic traditions and necessary disciplines for living and perpetuating the holy Faith, outside of which there is no salvation. No wonder there have been no fruits (cf. St. Matthew 7: 15-21). If you are one of those ordained after 1968 or 1970, call Fr. Paul. We know it takes a humble heart to admit you've been duped, but what price pride when the salvation of your own soul and the souls of those you are responsible for are at stake? Please, think very seriously about what Father documents below and ask the Holy Ghost for guidance to come back home to the true Catholic Church. ???Am I A Priest???
Doctors of the Church
Monday, March 12 is the feast of one of two Sovereign Pontiffs given the acclamation "the Great". He is Pope Saint Gregory the Great who is considered the last of the four great Latin Doctors of the Church. To him belongs the honor of collecting those harmonious melodies that have always been called "Gregorian Chant." He began as a simple monk, then became an abbot, cardinal and finally Supreme Pontiff, one of the greatest of medieval times. He also is credited with setting the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in its "set in stone" formula that has been upheld and honored even to this day despite the proliferation of the "abomination of desolation" of the man-made conciliar rite of the pagan-masonic-protestant Novus Ordo by the VulgArians of Vatican II infamy. In honor of Saint Patrick's Day, we present, as an annual tradition, the special diary of Saint Patrick himself, written by the saint. It delves into his mindset and heart and reveals the pure holiness of this great man who brought Catholicism to a pagan island in the 5th Century. It details the hardships and obstacles he encountered and how, through his immense love for the Triune Divinity and the True Faith, he persevered, even to being rebuked by his superiors, even when a normal person would abandon all hope of converting these stubborn people of Eire. That is what separates common men from saints and this humble confession by the Patron Saint of Ireland. Translated from his own Latin, it is a testimony to his sanctity. Through the natural - the shamrock - he was able to explain the Supernatural. Truly a testament to the sanity of sanctity. Since the 5th Century the emerald isle has remained one of the staunchest bastions of the Roman Catholic Faith in the world. He would weep today at how it has deteriorated over the past 45 years with the cancer of Vatican II that has so ravaged every parish, parishes that produced so many priests who populated the clergy in America in the 40's and 50's but, thanks to the drying up of the True Faith, that constant stream of vocations has slowed to barely a trickle.  Guest columnist Scott Montgomery presents an interesting essay on the existence of the two holy prophets from the Old Covenant who God preserved from death until the appointed time when antichrist comes. It is something few modernists will give credence too and, combined with the evangelical pentecostal heresies that have permeated society over this past century, the role of the two prophets Enoch and Elijah (Elias) play a significant role in eschatological theology. It is therefore appropriate that we bring this to you on this Second Sunday of Lent when we focus on the Transfiguration and the miracles of the Almighty with the appearance of Moses and Elias at Christ's side. Holy Mother Church has already spoken of Elias just this past Ember Wednesday in the Epistle from 3 Kings 19. On that same day we read in the Lesson from Exodus 24 of Moses going up to Sinai where he remained for forty days and forty nights. We also know that Moses eventually died after being denied by the Lord to enter the Promised Land; but not so the other witness of the Transfiguration: Elias, also known as Elijah the Tishbite and the man of Mt. Carmel. Elijah is one of the two witnesses in Sacred Scripture - the other being Enoch from Genesis - whom the Fathers and Doctors of the Church discern from the holy Scriptures to still be alive in a time and place finite man cannot reach or comprehend for man cannot know the breadth and depth of the mind of God. Yes, these two prophets of old wait quite possibly in the very same paradise where Adam and Eve began, sustained by the fruits of the garden until that appointed time when antichrist comes and they will be beckoned forth as God's special force to deal directly with the devil on God's terms.  As Gabriel Garnica reminds those faithful who have become complacent. Be alert for here we go again! The Lenten Season seems to annually bring Christ-haters out of the woodwork in trying to foist on the faithful lies and deceits that are so uncredible that they replicate the very demons that were driven out of the possessed man into a herd of swine which Christ refers to in St. Matthew 8: 30-31. What those perpetrating the lies and deception fail to realize is what happened to those swine. They rushed headlong over the cliff into the abyss. Gabriel wonders if the infamous James Cameron is listening or is he charging pell-mell toward the edge? One would think that's the case considering his vile and blasphemous hoax he is perpetrating on the public with his totally discredited revisionist version called The Lost Tomb of Jesus, thereby trying to cast doubt on lukewarm souls who are prey for such lies because they have not built their faith on solid ground. We begin this month of March in the midst of the Lenten Season that will end with the eve of Palm Sunday, by bringing you the Litany of Saints for the Saints and Feasts of March. Need some impetus during Lent? What we provide is a litany to all of the saints whose traditional feast days are celebrated or acknowledged in the month of March. Many of these saints are little-known and often are not, for that reason, invoked in our prayers or even commemorated in the Propers of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Yet holy Mother Church has assigned specific days to honor them and thus, even with several feria Lenten days throughout this, each day is dedicated to one or more saints historically and acknowledged in the traditional calendars. If you add this short litany to your daily Rosary, you will have the benefit of invoking the prayers of some of these lesser-known saints for March as we build toward Holy Week. Doctors of the Church
 In honor of the Double Feast of the holy Doctor of the Church Saint Thomas Aquinas on Wednesday we provide a brief profile of the greatest, wisest men ever in the history of the Church - the very man who was once regarded as stupid. Dubbed the "dumb ox," he became the most brilliant scholar in the history of the Church. Few saints were more revered than this learned Dominican who contributed so much to Holy Mother Church in writings and songs. He is best known for the great tome on theology "Summa Theologica," which incorporates three parts covering the entire teaching of the Church in regards Faith and Morals. He also penned the awe-inspiring Benediction hymns of "O Salutaris Hostia" and "Tantum Ergo." His life spanned less than half a century yet his teachings have had more impact than any other saint.
