January 2012 (jan2012.htm)

In chapter twenty-seven of the Prophesies and Revelations of St. Bridget of Sweden she implores Our Lady for answers and the Blessed Mother proceeds to alleviate her fears, then gives way for her divine Son Who illustrates the responsibilities of those who have been given much and each's duty and how these who represent the Church have veered from the path in favor of worldly things and, in so doing, besmirched the souls who lived and died for Christ and His holy Church. Even in the bride's time Rome had begin to stray, not as far as it has today where Eternal Rome has been eclipsed by Modernist Rome. Yet the Triune Divinity, being all merciful waits for the prodigal sons to realize their grave error and return to the bosom of Eternal Rome. Oh, Rome why hast thou abandoned Me?

Oh, to have the caliber of saints like the Golden Voiced Orator today to combat the heresies of Modernism and to bring souls back from the abyss just as he did in the early Church. The holy Doctor of the Church Saint John Chrysostom was a great orator who studied under one of Greece's famed orators and ultimately became one of the greatest orators himself, laboring for Christ and His Church in the century in which Constantine had declared Rome a Christian state and Christianity began to flourish, thanks in large part to John. He was duly recognized by Pope St. Pius X as Patron of Preachers. Like the other Doctors of the fourth and fifth century, he combatted the damaging heresy of Arianism and was harassed for his orthodoxy. Like St. Jerome, he employed the wealth of his family to further his own studies before turning his talents to bring souls to Our Lord. This masterful Doctor, the "Golden-throated Orator" is Saint John Chrysostom who was known far and wide as The Golden Voice of Truth

John Gregory resumes his series on the Sermon on the Mount as found in the Gospel of St. Matthew. Part nine deals with the beginning of Chapter Seven and rash judgment and how the profanation of holy things is condemned. Confidence in prayer, and earnest endeavors for salvation are recommended as our Lord continues His discourse on the mount to the multitudes. Chapter Seven is where Jesus gets to the meat of the matter in further laying out the course one must follow if they want to have eternal life. He continues how we should treat our neighbor and not rush to judgment nor think we ourselves are above reproach. He delineates the controversial concept of judgment by man by enlightening all that we will be judged by God on how we lived and that is a priority, yet we must also correct our neighbor if they are in danger of damnation for the greatest love is to want them with us in Heaven. Christ alerts all to be careful of what we place valuable when He uses the metaphor of pearls and swine, and today that is more evident than ever with the false value society places on worldly things while ignoring what is priceless: everlasting life. John lays it out in part nine Cast out the beam from thy own eye

Today we conclude the Week of the Chair of Unity Octave and once again we call upon the renowned and eminent venerable Benedictine Abbot Dom Prosper Gueranger to put this Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul in perspective with inspiration and reflection on the importance of this Feast in which we have provided Exerpts from The Liturgical Year on the feast. In our present time the crisis has grown far more worse than in Gueranger's time. Therefore, hopefully this past week the prayers offered for conversion will reach Heaven and the Holy Trinity will respond in kind by touching hardened and prejudiced hearts to bring to a reality Christ's call "that all may be one." But as much as many are content to wait for a miracle, God expects us to do our part and that is to urge the true traditional bishops to realize they must lead the charge. Let us pray that God will knock them off their respective horses long enough for them to realize they alone have the power and duty to return the True Faith to the masses for they are the true successors of the Apostles. The problem is that if the true Traditional Bishops do nothing, then the true Faith will mean nothing to the generations to come. It's now or never, Your Excellencies. Please, for the sake of souls do something to unite the Remnant Church!

January 18, 2012 through January 25, 2012

There are still some who are under the impression that the Week for Christian Unity, which lasts from the Double Major Feast of St. Peter's Chair at Rome on this Wednesday, January 18th until the Double Major Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul on the following Monday, January 25th, is a concoction of the Vatican II church. Au contraire, for it had been in vogue prior to Vatican II for true oecumenism - conversion, if you will and the antiphon prayer below illustrates this because it definitely does not call for dialogue but rather conversion to the True Faith by those outside the Faith. And, as we all know from the thrice-proclaimed dogma Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus, Outside the Church there is No Salvation!

These eight days of solemn prayer for Unity possess a doctrinal significance which is of critical importance. As Catholics know, one of the chief essential "Marks" (or visible qualities) of the Church established by Christ is that Unity for which He prayed at the Last Supper. As Jesus asked "that they may be one...", His prayer was immediately granted by the Eternal Father, as it was the request (on the very eve of His death) of His Only Begotten Son, to Whom nothing is refused. Therefore, His Church has now, and will always have, that Unity (or oneness) of teaching, worship, and government which is so evidently a sign of truth, "the same yesterday, today, and the same forever." It was for this reason that Christ established Peter as "the Rock", or Foundation of His Church, against which the Gates of Hell could never prevail.

Consistent with Christ's words, therefore, the only unity for which the Church and her faithful children can pray, is that which results from the conversion of those who are outside the One, True Fold of the Church. Thus, each of the days of the Chair of Unity Octave is dedicated to prayers for the conversion of some poor segment of mankind which is still "walking in darkness," imploring that they may open their hearts to God's grace, and return to the true Shepherd of their souls. This is the exercise of true charity. To imagine, as do the liberal ecumenists of our day, that we can achieve "unity" by pretending that those outside the Church do not stand in desperate need of conversion, is to deny the foundation of Christ's True Church, and to renounce the very reason for the heroic apostolic labors and martyrdom of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul.

PRAYER FOR THE CHURCH UNITY OCTAVE
    (Official Octave Prayer)

ANTIPHON: "That they all may be one, as Thou, Father, in Me and I in Thee; that they also may be one in Us; that the world may believe that Thou has sent Me." (John 17: 21)

      V. I say unto thee that thou art Peter
      R. And upon this Rock I will build My Church.

Let us pray. O Lord Jesus Christ, Who saidst unto Thine Apostles: Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you; regard not our sins, but the faith of Thy Church, and vouchsafe to grant unto Her that peace and unity which are agreeable to Thy Will. Who livest and reignest God forever and ever. Amen.

An indulgence of 300 days during the octave of prayers for the unity of the Church, from the Feast of the Chair of St. Peter in Rome to the feast of the Conversion of St. Paul. A Plenary Indulgence on the usual conditions at the end of the devout exercise.

Keeping the above in mind, we leave the eight-day period of prayers for the Chair of Unity Octave intentions behind while beginning a nine-day Novena leading up to the traditional feast of Our Lady of Good Success which coincides with Candlemass and the Feast of the Purification. This year we celebrate the 401st Anniversary of the Blessed Mother's messages and visits to a humble Conceptionist nun in Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres. True to the prophesies imparted to her, these messages would be forgotten and little known until the time they pertained to which are our times, folks. We encourage you to purchase the fascinating books Dr. Marian Therese Horvat has compiled on Our Lady of Good Success, the messages and messenger of Quito, Ecuador and see that Our Lady foretold all that is unfolding today. In light of that, we encourage all to devote the next nine days to praying the Novena to Our Lady of Good Success either the Long Version of the Novena with an Imprimatur each day or the shorter Nine-Day Short Novena.

January 23rd is the feast of St. Raymond of Penafort who is the patron of Canon Lawyers for he was a brilliant lawyer and teacher. When the immoral King James ordered him to stay with him, Raymond is said to have taken his cape, laid it on the water and sailed back to Barcelona. He stood strong for the true Faith, gathering the Sovereign Pontiffs decrees so all would know the Faith. In the same way we should read the encyclicals and decrees of past true, reliable Popes and see how what they wrote under the guidance of the Holy Ghost has condemned all that has been perpetrated on Catholics over the past half century thanks to the heretical council of Vatican II. Pray for those trapped in the counterfeit church of conciLIARism to receive the grace to emulate St. Raymond and use the cape of Catholic truth to escape across the turbulent waves of Modernism to the safe harbor of where the true Church still exists...in the catacombs. For more on this valiant saint, see St. Raymond of Penafort

It has come to this. After all the secretive dealings by Bishop Bernard Fellay with Modernist Rome, the natives have finally become restless within the SSPX ranks of the laity and they are fed up; so much so that they have generated open opposition to any further contact with the vulgArians of Vatican II until the latter totally renounce all that has occurred since. Just as Americans oppose Obamacare, so also lay and clergy members, including three of four bishops of the Society strongly are against the Preamble and are in open revolt with a petition presented to Fellay yesterday to stop the sellout of the SSPX to the apostates in Rome as Traditio notes. Petition against the Preamble

How appropriate that commiserating the devastating Roe vs. Wade decision falls in a week that lists eight consecutive days commemorating holy martyrs of the Church from Thursday's feast of St. Marius and Companion martyrs, to Friday's feast of the holy martyrs St. Fabian and Sebastian and Saturday St. Agnes, virgin and martyr with the actual anniversary date of the 'Supreme' Court's ruling being the feast of the holy martyrs Sts. Vincent and Anastasius. While Monday is the feast of the holy confessor St. Raymond of Penafort, there is a commemoration of the virgin and martyr St. Emerentiana, followed Tuesday by St. Timothy and then his mentor on Wednesday, St. Paul when we celebrate the Conversion of Saul. We complete the eight day of red vestments with the feast of St. Polycarp, the holy bishop and martyr on Thursday. The point being that, though the Church does not recognize unborn babies as baptized, we can hope they will fall into the same category as the Holy Innocents who were also not baptized by water but by Baptism of Blood, something the Church has always taught and Our Lord confirmed to St. Bridget.

For the latest on the pro-life movement and the insidious agenda of the left to snuff out what God created, we recommend Dr. Frank Joseph's site Abortions - The Truth - The Killing of Unborn Children and Judie Brown's American Life League, but specifically Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey's pieces, beginning with Thursday night's Carolina Circus as he sets the record straight on the real meaning of pro life God commands, Man obeys and then two excellent articles "Legal" Baby Killing Can Never Be Safe or Rare and Thirty-Nine Years of Indifference

Each Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation we feature the Haydock Commentary provided by John Gregory as compiled by Father George Leo Haydock and found at the bottom of each page of the Douay-Rheims Bible. With the type so small in most bibles, we publish it here in larger type in conjunction with the Epistle and Gospel for the Sunday Mass. For the Third Sunday after Epiphany, St. Paul continues the string of loving thy neighbor and encouraging doing good to overcome evil. Something our Lord relinquishes to the exterior darkness in His condemnation of the children of the kingdom and praise for the centurion whose faith He had not seen in all of Israel. Faith in Christ trumps all others as the Roman soldier illustrates for he was So Great of Faith

Time? We have little of it as politics really heat up and the answers to true freedom and free speech cannot be found through the Republicans, nor the Democrats nor Libertarians, but rather only through Catholic truth as Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey so adroitly points out and nails with the quote of the venerable Cardinal Pie of Poitiers, the same city from which came the holy Doctor of the Church St. Hilary, whose feast we just celebrated on Saturday: "To say Jesus Christ is the God of individuals and of families, but not the God of peoples and of societies, is to say that He is not God. To say that Christianity is the law of individual man and is not the law of collective man, is to say that Christianity is not divine. To say that the Church is the judge of private morality, but has nothing to do with public and political morality, is to say that the Church is not divine." That says it all as Tom explains in his piece Broken Clocks Are Wrong 1438 of 1440 Minutes Each Day

And, as we all know from the thrice-proclaimed dogma Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus, Outside the Church there is No Salvation!

The renowned and eminent venerable Benedictine Abbot Dom Prosper Gueranger weighs in on the Feast of St. Peter's Chair at Rome with inspiration and reflection on the importance of this Feast in which we have provided Exerpts from The Liturgical Year on the feast. Today in our time things have grown so much worse as they were in Gueranger's time. Therefore the daily prayer for true Church Unity is also for the restoration of Traditional Catholicism throughout the world. Let us also pray that God will hear our prayer, allow the conciliar VulgArians to implode and purge Rome of the interlopers and robber barons and, through His ordaining will, by some miracle only He can effect, give us a truly Catholic Pope once again along with true shepherds to replace all the false ones who are nothing but Masonic potentates. We pray God will end The Great Apostasy and wake hearts and souls to the destruction and heresies that have not only been permeated over the past 50 plus years, but also have produced no fruits whatsoever, confirming our Lord's words in St. Matthew 7: 15-20 that the conciliar church is a bad tree that must be cast into the fire. The sooner the better!

These eight days of solemn prayer for Unity possess a doctrinal significance which is of critical importance. As Catholics know, one of the chief essential "Marks" (or visible qualities) of the Church established by Christ is that Unity for which He prayed at the Last Supper.

Because Chapter Twenty-five is only one paragraph about the Blessed Mother's lament to her daughter St. Bridget on the fact that the most innocent Lamb, Jesus Christ, is neglected by His creatures in modern times, we combine here with Chapter Twenty-six where it dovetails, if you will, into an explanation by Christ to the bride on how few honor Him as He identifies the ineffable mystery of the Trinity, and how diabolical sinners obtain God's mercy through contrition and a will to improve. Our Lord responds on how He has mercy on everyone, both Jews and others, and about the double judgment, that is, the sentence for those who are to be condemned and for those who are to be saved. He references Purgatory and Limbo without naming them. Pay attention also to the paragraph in larger bold type in which the Son of God confirms the Church's belief on Baptism of Blood and Baptism of Desire, contrary to the Feeneyite stubborn, strict, albeit heretical narrow-minded stance of EENS. If you thought Chapter Twenty-Four was an eye opener, Chapter Twenty-Six is an eye popper regarding BOB and BOD. Though this is private revelation, it has been approved by the Magisterium of the Church and Jesus' words should wake the echoes in Affirmation of Church Teaching

Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey has posted a fascinating article by George Farias who remembers Tom's grandfather by adoption - William Humes (aka Red Fox) [No, not that Red Foxx from Sanford and Son infamy!] Farias' portrayal provides the Godincidence of Tom's family lineage that reveals the rich roots of American history and culture and the fruits of Tom's interest in political science and sensus Catholicus that led to his uncompromising stance for truth and promoting the Social Kingship of Christ and Mary as our Immaculate Queen in George's piece titled Chief Red Fox

More evidence seems to crop up every day just how corrupt the counterfeit church of conciliarism is and how a house divided against God cannot stand. A good example was the blatant disregard for the canonical process by the apostates of Modernist Rome in fast-tracking someone who to the world was a saint, but to Heaven was anything but. That would be Mother Teresa and now the revelation that she supported several of the vilest persons, including now jailed pedophile priest Fr. McGuire who, ordained a Jesuit in 1961, was convicted of raping children five years ago. By the way, he came out of that cesspool known as the Chicago Archdiocese. Now it has been revealed that McGuire ministered to her order and nothing was done. The list is long of those who have corrupted and been corrupted and JPII's 'favorite' humanist who espoused ecumenism is at the crux of the castrophe that is the 'saints' factory Wojtyla established in the destruction of the apostolic evangelical traditions as Traditio reports with The tainted 'saint' of Calcutta

Amidst all the shenanigans between Bishop Bernard Fellay of the Society of St. Pius X and Modernist Rome in ironing out the so-called Preamble, the Dominican non-priest 'Fr.' Giovanni Cavalcoli enters the fray by publicly trying to coax the SSPX to accept it and fall in line. It's kind of like the resist-and-recognize crowd telling sedevacantists to accept the apostate imposters as true popes, not that you have to obey them. But Cavalcoli's arguments are more like Ravioli unraveled and that can be a mess as Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey points out by sticking a fork in his arguments because indeed Tom's syllogism is that it's done: Cavalcoli is not Catholic nor are those he represents nor will the SSPX be if they cave. Will anyone still be standing in Trying To "Understand" Apostasy?

  • To understand further how corrupt, see the Kansas City Star article where the Diocese tries to justify spending one million in just four months in connection with sexual abuse (read pedodphilia, read sodomy). Everywhere in the conciliar structures this is going on, yet clueless parishioners still contribute to the corruption via the collection plate. Where are their senses and sensus Catholicus? Everything's falling apart in Kansas City

For the Second Sunday after Epiphany, the topic is love and miracles with the Wedding Feast of Cana in which Christ performed His first public miracle and the Haydock Commentary treats the whys and wherefores of the loving relationship between Mother and Son and His willingness to honor her by changing water into wine, a precursor to the transubstantiation of the wine into the Blood of Christ at the Consecration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the most loving gift He could bestow to His children whom St. Paul entreats in his epistle to love one another as our Lord loves us. The First Miracle

Though the feast is not universally celebrated in the Traditional Propers of the Mass, January 15 is the traditional feast of Our Lady of Prompt Succor. Dr. Marian Therese Horvat provides an excellent article on this feast and how intricately it is tied to the United States, especially New Orleans and the amazing miracle Our Lady interceded for in the Battle of New Orleans in 1812 and General Andrew Jackson's acknowledgement of such. Of course, that was back when there was respect and awe for God's Justice and Mercy, not to mention respect for Catholic truth. Fast forward to modern times and the fact the statue of Our Lady wept in 1972. Could it be she wept because of what was happening to her divine Son's Mystical Bride or that within one year human sacrifice would return to the new world in the senseless slaughter of the unborn with Roe v. Wade? Either way she knew God was not happy and could stay His hand only so long. Perhaps she knew that the "Big Easy" was about to run into hard times for the sinful debauchery of Mardi Gras. Can anyone say "Katrina"? Marian lays out the history of Our Lady's title and the valiant efforts of the Ursuline nuns who went above and beyond the call of duty in answering Heaven's call and how Heaven responded in 1812. She explains in Our Lady of Prompt Succor, a Patroness for Americans

This is the first Doctor of the Church in the calendar year. This holy Bishop and Doctor of the Church Saint Hilary of Poitiers was another from the fourth century who, like the three great Doctors who preceded him (St. Athanasius, St. Ephrem and St. Cyril of Jerusalem), stood by the axiom: One cannot serve God by employing the philosophy that one should 'go along to get along.' That false belief is, sadly, something so prevalent in today's society of lemmings. Unlike the one whose name sounds so similar, there are no similarities to the character of St. Hilary with Hillary Clinton. The former is a saint, the latter...well, you fill in the blanks, but keep it clean. Back to the true Hilary. He was both greatly persecuted by the Arians and ostracized by many within the Church because of false information. Hmm, sound familiar? Every Traditional Catholic can relate to that. This first Doctor, of what is today France - eldest Daughter of the Church - was known for his great labors in the fields of God from Gaul to Ilyria. Born the same year as his colleague Doctor and Bishop of Jerusalem St. Cyril, he labored tirelessly for the True Faith and was called the Laborer for God

While most conservative Americans have as their goal to assure Barack Hussein Obama is not reelected because of the dangerous path he has already started the country on down the yellow brick road of Communism through his class warfare rhetoric and appointments, those who cling to the Constitution would be well warned to be careful who they tout as Dr. Droleskey illustrates that the lesser of two evils doesn't always work. Despite the fact the Kenyan feasts on the abortion plank, there is no assurance Mitt Romney and the other naturalists the GOP is offering won't do the same thing. What we need to do is cling to the true Faith and not worry about the conciliarists because we have the true Faith and that, in itself should be the greatest consolation in this time of upheaval and prompt every traditional Catholic to want the same for others. Tom explains in his article with a title almost as long as this intro: Attention! Attention! Calling All Lemmings! Calling All Lemmings! Drink Your Naturalist Kool-Aid Before Following The Lead Lemming Over the Cliff and Into the Abyss

As a special treat for this Feast of the Holy Family, we bring you inspiration from the late Father James F. Wathen, pioneering traditional author of The Great Sacrilege who passed away just over five years ago on November 6, 2006. This piece was first published here in 203 and to show the measure of the man, though he was dying of cancer, he left us these priceless gems of wisdom for husbands and wives, for young men and women in the single life, and for children as well. In each, he provides solid Catholicity of how each must respond in order to have their state in life blessed and become fruitful in the eyes of God, and then in the eyes of the world which, as he points out, is often a paradox for living as a true Catholic is a contradiction to the world. His encouraging words give hope that more will take his solid advice and apply it to their lives so that a generation of true Catholics can be generated for tomorrow. He also includes the Litany of Humility. These words are his lasting gift we bring you during this week following the feast of the holiest of families, Jesus' Own in Nazareth with Mary and Joseph, titled, Thoughts to Sustain Catholic Families"

The conciliar madness is spinning out of control. While Benedict XVI is waxing that homosexuality will be the bain of civilization in a rare show of actual Catholic teaching, his appointed "Archbishop" in the windy city is blowing wind with an apology to a militant sodomite group who pressured Francis "Cardinal" George into apologizing for his equating flaunting sodomites to the Ku Klux Klan. Sin is sin and to apologize to sinners is to condone their sins. Christ and St. Paul preached love of sinners, never condoning and never apologizing. But then the conciliar mindset is so saturated in apostasy and political correctness that it has no rhyme nor reason, let alone no substance as Dr. Droleskey explains in Maybe Saint Paul Should Apologize, Too, "Cardinal" George?

We resume the Prophesies and Revelations imparted to St. Bridget of Sweden with an eyeopening chapter that answers the question often asked by non-Catholics: how could a good God allow evil? In this lesson God provides the answers when St. Bridget, praying for infidels, asks Jesus Christ, Who replies in a way that should provide a guideline for all Catholics to answer this query for God is glorified through the evil of evil men, although not by their own power and volition. The Son of God illustrates this for her by means of an allegory in which a maiden represents the Church or the soul and her nine brothers represent the nine orders of angels, the king represents Christ, while His three sons represent the three states of mankind. He explains in Chapter Twenty-Four of Book Three Why God allows evil

The countdown has begun in leading up to October 11 this year when the Modernists will celebrate the golden (not) anniversary of the beginning of the revolution known as Vatican II. Such celebration is akin, as Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey points out, to toasting the fiftieth anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution to name just one aberration in history. Needless to say, the Bolsheviks have seemingly won as Our Lady warned at Fatima in light of all the destruction the counterfeit church of conciliarism has wrought over the past half a century. Tom shows that apostasy is nothing to celebrate, especially in Heaven where all souls hope to end up, but if apostasy continues then we all know the direction souls are heading for no apostate or heretic will enter everlasting life on the upside. Tom explains in his article Celebrating Half A Century of Apostasy

Griff Ruby returns for the new year by finishing up what he began last fall but we were unable to bring you because of our computer problems. Better late than never and this third part is packed with valuable virtues that will help everyone. Living our Faith is what every real Christian work is all about. We are not climbing some ladder to Heaven on our own strength or will, but accepting the hand upwards that only God can extend to us. We must receive that hand, and having received it, clasp it firmly as God works with us to draw us upwards out of being mired in our sins. We shall stand alone at our Particular Judgment and how we lived on this earth will determine the nature of where we end up. The will of God in our lives is our sanctification, by which alone we are befitted for Heaven. Is there any other way? Griff explains in Part Three of Earning our Salvation or Living our Faith?

How fitting that the first feast after Epiphany honors the Holy Family. For throughout the centuries the greatest model to emulate is the Son of God, then His Immaculate Mother Mary and finally the cooperator of all God deigned, holy St. Joseph, universal patron of the Church his foster Son established upon this earth several years after Joseph was rewarded with eternal life. Each of this triumverate melded into the perfect family to set the example of how man can live in harmony. Unfortunately, man didn't follow the perfect formula because of his own fallen human nature and sinful ways. What we have today is the antithesis of the Holy Family with abortion, divorce and adultery the norm as satan has twisted the natural law to even sink to the depths of same-sex marriage being accepted as normal. Has anyone told them what God thinks of such aberrations? Hint: Sodom and Gomorrah. Despite the trend to offend Him in every way possible in order to please man, traditional Catholics today are swimming upstream but they realize it's the only way to stay afloat as everyone else is being swallowed heading downstream toward the torrents of hell. That is why we must always call upon the Holy Family for keeping our souls above water and pray the waters of Baptism, that are highlighted later this week with the Baptism of the Lord, will save more souls who will have the grace to defy the devil and help dam up the neverending flow toward eternal damnation. Let us begin the Time after Epiphany by calling upon the Holy Family with the inspiring liturgy of Holy Family Sunday

We begin the new year with the Haydock Commentary for Holy Family Sunday provided by John Gregory. For this First Sunday after Epiphany, and still Within the Octave, the focus is on the love of God and God's love for us shown so beautifully in the fifth Joyful Mystery of the Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple. Here we see the obedience He gave to His earthly parents in exhibiting the kind of humility expected of each of His children in obedience to God and the rightful superiors God places in our care asking us to have charity in our hearts as we can see from St. Paul's epistle in bearing with one another in love for charity is the paramount virtue and these virtues are exalted in both Epistle and Gospel in And He was subject to them

In this last week former Senator Rick Santorum has seemingly come out of nowhere to contend for the Republican nomination for POTUS. While he remains a naturalist just as Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey has pointed out that all of the candidates are, he is the closest thing to leaning toward the ultimate goal of the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ. Lately progressives and conciliar Modernists have attacked him for opposing "social justice" while standing firm for the sanctity of life. They have even labeled him a "papist". If only they realized he was more Catholic than the American 'bishops' or the man they call pope today. After all he does attend the Latin Mass (source: Washington Post) If only Rick would truly study his Faith and realize the modern Church is not Catholic. Aside from that, what he could do is use Father Benedict Hughes' excellent sermon (provided by Traditional Catholic Sermons) for Holy Family Sunday in Santorum's campaigns for it speaks of all that ails society and provides the cure. You'll agree once you hear Father's words Families Modeled on the Holy Family

Yes, we are finally back to publishing daily. We are still not at full strength and still a few vital software programs short but we marshal on. We ask your indulgence if some of the fonts do not match up, especially in the propers where the Latin accents do not translate as they should since the special typefont we had was destroyed. We are in search of the right font to correct these.

We do have to admit we're disappointed that other than a few new small donations, our desperate plea was answered only by those who always give and to them, even though we have acknowledged them, we thank them again and assure them that without them we would not be able to publish or reach souls. What if we did not have those few wonderful benefactors? Would you, dear reader, be willing to pick up the slack so we could continue this apostolate of spreading the Word through the Truths and Traditions of holy Mother Church? Too many think 'well, the other guy will help, I don't need to' and that seems like the climate today with the apathy we've discovered even though we came in just five visitors shy of 90,000 for December with well over a million and a quarter hits from 123 countries. We know you are out there reading. The stats verify that. But are traditional Catholics really freeloaders? We'd like to think they aren't, but your response is disheartening. Is it really asking so much to pledge a little each month? Our track record over the past 22 years should prove we're here to stay and have never shortchanged anyone. If we say it and publish it, you can take it to the bank. Be kind of nice to go to the bank a little more often so we can offer more features and take advantage of the broadcasting possibilities. Without funds that is not possible.

Also not possible is reaching anyone who was in our email address book after our computer crashed in mid November. Again, we ask, please email us so we can resume communication, especially the wonderful David who edits the DailyCatholic Twitter page. We thank him for keeping you up to date. Because of spam we can no longer receive email at editor@dailycatholic.org or mcain@dailycatholic.org. Thus, please send to director@sanctusdc.org. We thank you in advance as we resume with our 22nd year of publishing, the last 15 years on the web. Other than Traditio.com no one has been on line longer. The fruits of conversions have made it all worthwhile, but it does not pay the bills to keep publishing. We think you understand and pray you'll respond. May you have a blessed and grace-filled Christmastide during this Time after Epiphany.

    • PAPAL PROOF OF WHAT THE CHURCH TRULY TEACHES
For those who truly want to delve deeper into what the Faith teaches and what past Sovereign Pontiffs have decreed, we recommend for your vital reading to better KNOW THE FAITH in order to KEEP THE FAITH, pertinent Papal decrees which put to the lie what is being promulgated today by the Vatican II church. We strongly encourage you to read these to understand how today the modern church is in Apostasy when compared to what had always been taught by Holy Mother Church and enforced and warned as most grievous by previous Pontiffs as you'll see in CREDO & CULTURE
